The staff in the restaurant were excellent. Trying to leave the hotel was ridiculous. We had informed the reception on arrival we would be leaving early in the morning of our checkout as we had a flight to catch. We also informed the reception the night before our checkout and settled the bill. We were assured that someone would be at reception in the morning. We had to wait ten minutes before someone arrived to unlock the from door to let us out!! Very frustrating!!!DavidUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Close to family and where I used to live.
Close to family and where I used to live. Near all the places I like to visit. Parklands is out of the city center. With all the new one-way systems/ ULEZ rules it is a pain to stay in city center if you have a car. Use buses, trains and subway. Big cycling event made driving worse in city. There are two receptions - one for the hotel and one for the country club. A bit confusing. All in all the stay was fine - room was spacious, spotless and warm. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent.

When we got to our room I was really surprised how lovely it was and I have never had such a large bathroom before. The bar and restaurant area was great and the staff were friendly. I was really pleased with the swimming pool and I liked the fact you didn't have to book a time to be able to use it.
