Fabulous views from bedroom window and access to the water nearby. Mari and Gary were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our chats with Mari. Breakfast was great with lots of choices and some variation in time you wanted it. Children would love the farm animals. Not too far from Fort William if you have a car.

We booked the hotel for guests who were staying with us at Carnell and they had had a puncture outside of Glencoe, three hours away. The guests called to let us know at 1130pm at night so we made the booking to help them. A passing local, stopped to help them and generously stayed with them eventually taking them to the hotel. The guests said the hotel staff could not have been kinder, accommodating them so late and with sustenance. The next morning, they enjoyed an excellent breakfast and said the staff were extremely kind and helpful arranging for them to be repatriated with their car and the repair services.

End of our trip so only stayed one night - however this place is pretty and relaxing and I would say is ideal for exploring the likes of Fort William, Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Glenfinnan Viaduct etc so you could easily spend a few nights here before heading on to the Isle of Skye or further North.

Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

Loved the location.
Loved the location. Our room had a balcony and a fantastic view over Loch Linnhe. They have an excellent chef and evening meals were delicious & reasonably priced. They also had a well stocked bar. The owner, manager and staff were all very polite and helpful and it was so good we opted to stay another night.
Not everyone enjoys a buffet breakfast but it was good quality and suited us except for the food not being hot enough. However this was quickly rectified & hopefully won’t be a problem in the future.
Excellent location directly on the beach. Restaurant and bar are in the same building providing good food and a nice choice of local beers. The staff is very attentive and always makes you feel well looked after and care for.
The room we had was functional, had a nice bathroom and window looking out at the lake. Everything was super clean. Cooked breakfast is very nice with all the expected trimmings. For those who don't want a fully cooked breakfast there are other options like salmon or continental choices.
This property is located above Loch Linnhe and the views of the Loch are incredible from the big picture windows. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. The cottage was spotless and incredibly cute. Our cottage was a little small for three adults (I was traveling with my 2 adult children) but it was cozy and perfect for our purposes. There is a hotel within walking distance where we got dinner and Glencoe is only a short drive for excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Location is great - right next to the ferry terminal and close to Glencoe hiking trails. Host was one of the friendliest and most helpful person I’ve met - gave us lots of useful recommendations and made our reservation in the restaurant. There’s waching machine in the drier room where you can dry your clothes. You can put you food into special container (that has your room number on it) and use fridge as well (we had one in the room too). Comfy beds and clean rooms!
We had a wonderful stay at the Creag Mhor Lodge. We had a "family room" which was 2 rooms and bath, so spacious for just 2. We enjoyed the public lounge at night as it is large and comfortable with view of the lake. Pizza, snacks, drinks and desserts were great. Breakfast also was just right. The staff were very helpful with restaurant and walking trails suggestions. We loved the charm of the older building and the view of the lake.
We had a great stay for a week in this hotel. The location was perfect right in the middle of all best walks and scenery in Scotland.
Our room was to a very high spec with a lovely sitting area overlooking the loch.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble.
The meals in the restaurant were very good and the chef was happy to mix up the menu for us.
this was a quintessentially Scottish b&b experience. The owner Clair was accommodating and friendly, she helped us get a reservation at an outstanding local seafood restaurant and Angela educated us at the extensive whiskey bar. The view alone is worth a stay, the hospitality made it the most memorable stop on our Scotland tour.
Fantastic hosts, who provided us with a comfortable home setting away from home. Comfortable bed, shower great and good breakfast to start the day. Mairi also guided us to get medical care after I got knee injury and to amazing local cafes, restaurants and sites. Our preferred one was Lochleven Seafood Cafe! Superb!
Beautiful location, for exploring the mountains, with a small private beach. We just need to revisit in the summer to take full advantage of the beach. The Onich Hotel was only 2 minutes walk away, gorgeous food and very friendly staff who accommodated our party of 6 with 2 dogs no problem
Gary served one of the best breakfasts we had the entire trip. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. I forget the name of the place but he steered us to a restaurant on the other side of the lake where we had an incredible seafood meal.
Everything, the food was lovely and staff went out their way ,they made homemade chicken n uggetts for the kids that weren't on the menu, and the breakfast was delicious, anything extra we asked for we got, nothing was a problem.
Room was lovely. Fantastic size and facilities. Breakfast provided in the fridge (milk, muffin and orange juice). The restaurant is closed however there is a brilliant pub (Roam West) which does amazing food and drinks.
Check in detailed personal information, lovely views, clean, nice lounge with extra touches such as coffee, kitchen with lots of extras, seating and organized food storage. Helpful, friendly staff. Enjoyed our 3 days.
The facilities were clean. Standard amenities one would expect for an overnight stay. Their food was really good and the staff friendly and attentive.
Location was superb with beautiful views of the Loch Linnhe.
Perfect location for visiting Glencoe - close to the village of Ballachulish, close to Fort William. Loved the horses grazing outside our window. Comfortable and cozy, responsive host.
Very spacious and clean. Our room had a view of the loch. We walked onto the ferry (free) and had a drink and dinner at the hotel restaurant on the other side. Nice experience.
