tv remote didn't work, took 30 mins to check in, breakfast took 45 mins after ordering, beans not cooked, sausages not cooked, it appeared that one person was the receptionist and the chef, same person booked me in was cooking my breakfast

Perth used to be the capital of Scotland and has obviously been a very wealthy city. I would have loved to have seen it then. Unfortunately it is now much like many cities and very run down. Most things in Scotland are beautiful and I was really looking forward to Perth but found that the surrounding areas were much better than the City centre. So sorry as I would have loved to have said it was great. Glasgow and Edinburgh are obviously big vibrant cities and I expected Perth to just have a little of this.

We were too early in the year for a number of attractions unfortunately. Come after the end of March. However, the Black Watch Museum was excellent especially if in to military history. You can have a guided tour which is very very informative, excellent in fact. The restaurant, Kisas, was very good.

    A small/compact City.

A small/compact City. Historic and the New Museum is fantastic. There are many independent shops as well as the shopping centre. Plenty of good eateries and coffee shops. well placed for walking or cycling the river has footpaths along it and is well maintained. A lively theatre/live event scene too.

We were in Perth for one night only to see the Dnipro Opera...

We were in Perth for one night only to see the Dnipro Opera Company from Ukraine perform La Boheme at the city's concert hall. But the city is well known to us. Parts of Perth are looking a little down at heel these days but it is still a pleasant city to visit with lots of facilities and good eateries. We ate at the excellent Both3rs Italian restaurant before the opera. Good value and delicious food.

Bar far the best and also the cheapest B&B I stayed in over 5 days touring around Scotland. Owner Jackie was very welcoming, the single room was clean and specious and had a large private bathroom (not ensuite) which was also clean with decent shower. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good indeed and overall I was extremely happy with my stay. Exceptional value considering what the room cost. Would definitely return when visiting Perth.

We chose the hotel because it was a convenient location for us coming from a trip from Scotland and before leaving the rental car next morning at Edinburgh Airport. They gave us a bit better room with a large window without additional charges. Quite clean and you can relax in the bathtub.

Very modern shower room ensuite. Breakfast was good. Staff attentive. My wife left her coat behind and the hotel let us know before we had driven too far away, so we were able to turn around and retrieve it. Thank you. Easy walk into Perth City Centre.

Free parking space, 3 bedrooms and a closed living room were perfect for our 5 person family. The washer/dryer worked well. And walking distance to ALL of Perth. Plus a grocery store right out the door. Owners were super nice and long time locals.

Centrally located in a Perth. Plenty of room in the suite. David is a wonderful host and amazing chef! He made buttery, flaky croissants for our breakfast in the morning and served eggs Benedict with the best hollandaise sauce I’ve ever tasted!
