Adequate, only stayed one night, noisy road but comfy enough for the price

The centuries old building, although that must make it difficult to meet modern living expectations. Maxine and other staff were lovely and informative. Very enjoyable evening meal and a monster breakfast in the morning! Lots of interesting artefacts and snippets of information. Despite being close to a road junction we were not disturbed during the night by noise.

It is a beautiful farm, host and staff were super friendly and nice, we were delighted about the stay. Our 2 years old was so happy and proud he fed the chickends and ducks, and stroke the sheep. We had a great time there, hope we will go back again soon.

It’s a lovely property in a beautiful serene location. The staff were friendly & we had good breakfasts during our stay. Parking was perfect too. Will again stay here next time when we visit Bath. Perfect & family friendly hotel.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly.
The historical ambience of the hotel was amazing.
Our room was spacious and gracious and beautifully decorated.
Both dinner and breakfast were very good and, for me, the choice of delicious vegetarian options was unusual and very welcome.
Reasonable amount of food outlets. I went to a place with family which was outside Radstock to eat. It is easy to get around by car but public transport is a bit scarce. For a small town it generates a lot of through traffic but it is situated between 2 cities

Really good food and large portions. Friendly bubbly staff. Land Lady very helpful with places to visit.
Suggested bus to Bath with our bus passes bus stop really close, we caught bus so didn't have any trouble of parking. Visited Wells on Market day. Pub not far away from Cheddar or Bath.
Even though they held two wakes while were staying there it didn't affect their service to locals or any other guests. Had a Parrott called Pee WEE
which was very entertaining.

This was an excellent choice as a base being midway from Bristol or Bath. There are eating places close to the Hotel.
Radstock was a mining town and there is a museum just across the road from the hotel.

if i had not paid online and in advance i would have refused to pay on leaving - I NEVER SLEP AT ALL due to the window being broken and not able to close - road traffic all night - I AM CONSIDERING ASKING FOR A REFUND
The staff was absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The accommodations were attractive, updated, clean, and comfortable. The food served at the pub was delicious, and the menu was amply diverse. The coffee brewed in a French press each morning was always perfect, and complimented my choice of breakfast. The garden in the rear sitting area was beautiful, vibrant, well laid out, and nicely maintained, and the property is steeped in family history.
In short, I am looking forward to my next stay there.
The host was very responsive - we had an internet problem on a Saturday over the Xmas weekend and he managed to contact an engineer and got it sorted out - first class.
We had seven persons staying (5 adults + 2 kids) whereas normally it sleeps 6 adults. The host was very accommodating.
The house is a very nice family space and was excellent for making Xmas lunch and entertaining later in the day.
Great to see all of the wildlife - deer and squirrels included.
Absolutely stunning property and grounds. Our room was really high spec, with everything spotless and clean. The room was enormous and had great little touches - fresh milk, lots of drawers and storage, and customisable atmospheric lighting. The booking system for the pool is a nice touch so you get exclusive access. The hosts recommended a great taxi service into Radstock. We loved our stay and are looking at coming back again next year!
Lovely family suite......two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a little hallway separating the rooms. Clean and comfortable. Food in the pub downstairs was excellent. Staff clearly happy in their jobs. Beautiful garden to sit in. Convenient location for many places such as Bath and West showground, Haynes Motor Museum, Wells, Bath. Host Maxine went above and beyond to look after us. We will be going back.
Beautiful location, cosy, spacious, very clean and tidy. Perfect hosts who had a keen eye for detail. No complaints. Would be a perfect place for a summer staycation as there is a nice outside area where you can have a BBQ. Bath city centre is only a short drive away. We found a lovely little pub which done a delicious roast dinner called the The Fromeway in Radstock which is not far from the annexe at all.
This is a great little find, the owners and staff could not be more welcoming and friendly.
The room was not huge but very comfortable and had everything you needed.
We ate in the restaurants and the food was very good,, good sized portions. Breakfast was amazing and plenty of choice. Would definitely go back. Thanks very much

It was picked due to its proximity to Radstock. Good selection for breakfast. Very friendly welcome from everyone. Loved the bar area with a good choice of drinks. Great area for walks and visit to Wells.
For short visits to family in Radstock, this hotel suits me perfectly. The rooms are clean and simply but adequately furnished, the beds are comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficient.
The beds were very comfortable, the room was warm and inviting, good full size bathroom, overall a well thought out layout of the room. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of it and a good selection.
Room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Can't comment on breakfast, as I don't take breakfast in hotels.
