Superb location and although no parking at property, there is plenty of parking very close by. All staff, without exception, were very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast is not available at the Old Picture House but there’s plenty of choice along the sea front.
The apartment was finished to a high standard, well equipped for self catering, the bed was extremely comfortable and the towels were super soft, thick and fluffy. The pub itself is well worth a visit with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks. The food menu looked good too but we did not get a chance to sample it as we were attending a birthday party elsewhere. However, we would definitely be happy to return to The Old Picture House for a longer stay.
Featuring inner courtyard views, Beachcroft Beach Snug offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 100 metres from Seaton Beach.

Lovely place for a two night stay. The beach is only about 1 minute walk away and easy parking at the property. Welcome card and chocolates was a really nice touch. Good communication with owners and will recommend to friends and family.

Ideal spot to explore the area, and all necessary amenities very close by. No additional charge for our 2 dogs, and excellent comms and info from host leading up to our stay.
This friendly hotel and popular pub is 150 metres from the sea, and has an excellent location in the middle of Seaton's high street. Full English breakfast is available in the morning.

excellent location and car parking, pleasant staff, large handy soap-niche in the shower, good croissants.
lovely little place. Very small but still lovely.
The tram ride is worth a go. We went to the furthest stop in Colyton and had a wander and drink in a couple of pubs, then went back to the next stop of Colyford and had a wander and a couple of drinks.
The wildlife you can see from the tram is lovely and all the drivers are knowledgeable and friendly.
Everyone seemed very friendly in the area.

We were there a bit early in the season so some of the eating places were not open but we ate twice at the monsoon Indian which was a `byo alcohol, the food was nice. We also ate in Sidmouth. Very easy to get around and buses very regular to Beer and Sidmouth and Exeter.

Stunning scenery, beautiful location.
Stunning scenery, beautiful location. Town just had no restaurants open in the week in the evening, all only serve Breakfast & lunch & then close or stop serving food. A couple small takeaways for evening week night food is all that is available.

Seaton is a very quiet unspoilt place that is lovely for walks along the beach, the cliff park or along the wetlands. It is very much for the local population and not that much orientated towards visitors. The tram ride is well worth a visit.
If you want noise and discos don't go.

Easy to get around Seaton on foot.
Easy to get around Seaton on foot. Ragini restaurant was very good. Hideaway on seafront good for a cream tea. Yeungs Chinese takeaway excellent. When eating need to ensure places are open when out of season. Large Tesco/Aldi etc in centre great if you are self-catering. Tramway a good experience. Donkey Sanctuary a surprisingly good visit too and "free" not many of those around. A very relaxing & charming location.

Seaton Tramway was very enjoyable and a day rover certainly worth the money if you want to do more than one trip.
Seaton Wetlands was a wonderful place for birds watching and wildlife although you are not allowed to take your dog. The island hide particulary had plenty of birds while I was there.
Perfect location, close to the beach and the lovely little town.
Although situated on a main road close to a junction we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise.
The cottage is very tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings and was spotlessly clean with
quality bedding and towels and a very well equipped kitchen.
Our hosts were very accessible and extremely helpful.
We have already recommended Nutshell Cottage to friends who are hoping to travel to Seaton in the near future.
What a fab little place this is! Spotless, cute, excellent location just a 5-min drive from either Seaton or Beer. Was super quiet, easy to park, cosy, fitted out with everything you could possibly need (the stereo was a lovely touch - could get my greatest hits radio), the telly had Netflix - just what we needed after a day spent walking miles. To top it off, the owners are lovely too! We really did not feel ready to leave this morning!!!
The apartment is in a perfect location. A genuine 2 minutes from the beach. 5 minutes from the town centre and just 1 minute from the fabulous Seaton Tramway terminus. Right next to the very best restaurant in the area.
It was spotlessly clean. Comfortable sofa and super bed. Large TV and a really well equipped kitchenette. Reasonable sized bathroom with an excellent shower. A really well thought out property.
Having travelled extensively (UK, Europe and Asia) I am usually a bit disappointed when arriving at hotels "in the flesh".
The Mariners has been one of the few where the actual hotel is as good as the glossy advertising suggests.
The hoteliers, Lisa and Dean were great. Friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
I will definitely be returning, next time with my family in tow.
This was a perfect accommodation for our family stay - clean and cosy:) Communication was excellent! Very quiet area for relaxing and having family time. Good location with an Esso petrol station/shop next to it. If you cross the road and walk further down, you will discover beautiful scenery of Seaton. Food in the Eyre Court Pub was excellent. Definitely worth to go on the Tram ride.
We wanted a location in Seaton so this was perfect. Big enough for six adults and three children. It was really well equiped with room for some private time if required. We were able to gain entry an hour early which was useful.
Thank you for the gift pack of coffee. tea etc. It was a thoughtful and welcome introduction to our stay.
We really loved this Hotel, such easy going friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our two dogs enjoyed it too and were made very welcome.
It is in a great position in Seaton. We enjoyed our stay very much, and hope to return
.Thank you.
There is a surcharge for dogs that booking.com doesn’t make clear at time of booking so had a surprise £15 extra.
Happy for parking at hotel.
Nice clean room right by beach.
Bit noisy w seagulls
Lovely hosts that were very accommodating. Room was nice and the breakfast was fantastic. Nicely situated in Seaton close to the beach. Parking was very easy in the car park around the corner.
