Superb location and although no parking at property, there is plenty of parking very close by. All staff, without exception, were very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast is not available at the Old Picture House but there’s plenty of choice along the sea front.
The apartment was finished to a high standard, well equipped for self catering, the bed was extremely comfortable and the towels were super soft, thick and fluffy. The pub itself is well worth a visit with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks. The food menu looked good too but we did not get a chance to sample it as we were attending a birthday party elsewhere. However, we would definitely be happy to return to The Old Picture House for a longer stay.

Lovely place for a two night stay. The beach is only about 1 minute walk away and easy parking at the property. Welcome card and chocolates was a really nice touch. Good communication with owners and will recommend to friends and family.

lovely little place. Very small but still lovely. The tram ride is worth a go. We went to the furthest stop in Colyton and had a wander and drink in a couple of pubs, then went back to the next stop of Colyford and had a wander and a couple of drinks. The wildlife you can see from the tram is lovely and all the drivers are knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone seemed very friendly in the area.

We were there a bit early in the season so some of the eating places were not open but we ate twice at the monsoon Indian which was a `byo alcohol, the food was nice. We also ate in Sidmouth. Stunning scenery, beautiful location. Town just had no restaurants open in the week in the evening, all only serve Breakfast & lunch & then close or stop serving food. A couple small takeaways for evening week night food is all that is available.

Easy to get around Seaton on foot. Ragini restaurant was very good. Hideaway on seafront good for a cream tea. Yeungs Chinese takeaway excellent. When eating need to ensure places are open when out of season. Large Tesco/Aldi etc in centre great if you are self-catering. Tramway a good experience. Seaton Tramway was very enjoyable and a day rover certainly worth the money if you want to do more than one trip. Seaton Wetlands was a wonderful place for birds watching and wildlife although you are not allowed to take your dog. Although situated on a main road close to a junction we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise. The cottage is very tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings and was spotlessly clean with quality bedding and towels and a very well equipped kitchen. The Mariners has been one of the few where the actual hotel is as good as the glossy advertising suggests. The hoteliers, Lisa and Dean were great. Friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning, next time with my family in tow.

Very quiet area for relaxing and having family time. Good location with an Esso petrol station/shop next to it. If you cross the road and walk further down, you will discover beautiful scenery of Seaton. Food in the Eyre Court Pub was excellent. Definitely worth to go on the Tram ride.
