Hotel was spotlessly clean! Bed was very comfortable, room was lovely and looked out into the little garden which was nice bonus. Meal and drinks in the evening was beautiful and staff were so friendly. Was very quiet at night and had the best night sleep. Can’t recommend this Hotel enough!

The property was spotlessly clean. The check in clerk was very friendly and gave us lots of information about where to eat in the local area. We had a suite upstairs and a sea view (breathtaking) and there was lots of information at hand in the room for places to visit/eat. We ate in the local Indian restaurant and had drinks at the stack, followed by a beach walk next morning. The bed was super comfortable and this was hands down the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in, in the north east.

You need to book well in advance if you want to watch the...
You need to book well in advance if you want to watch the Black Cats at the stadium of light! There is a nice railway connection to nearby Seaham if you want to visit. You can walk along the Wear through a sculpture park and the city centre is excellent for cheap food and drink.

Sunderland is a lovely city with lots of things to see and do. The coast here is beautiful with interesting beaches and walks. The people we spoke to were welcoming and friendly everywhere we went. Everything the people were generous in there attitude towards visitors there was plenty to do and visit public transport was readily available prices across the board were comparable to normal residential areas unusual for a top tourist attraction

The hotel also has its own tea room, the cakes looked out of this world. We stayed for a evening meal package with breakfast the following morning. Could not fault the service the level of food was amazing. They produce their own Gin on site, I myself am not a Gin drinker but enjoyed the lemon Gin. The stay was excellent value for money would definitely stay again. The local bars was very welcoming also.

Very quiet at night.

A bit further up the coast are more cafes/bars and Sunderland is a short Uber away. The main reception was very clean. The parking was handy and free.
