Brilliant place, we did not have the chance in our stay to try the breakfast, but had dinner which was delicious, try the fishball and oxtail soup, the chef knows his ingredients. :)

Labuan Bajo is a port harbor with its main attraction, the Komodo Dragon. There are day tours that you can take: Komodo Island with five other stops and Rinca Island with 3 other stops. The harbor master closed Komodo Island for 7 days due to weather but Rinca Island was open. The snorkeling is phenomenal with purple, green coral that look like cauliflower and broccoli florets with many colorful fish. There is no need to book tours ahead. You can walk down to the dock area and book with any of the vendors selling packages. Even the LBJ airport has tours available.
We rented scooters to visit Rangko Cave and nearby Batu Cermin cave. The ride is beautiful and scenic. There is lots of seafood in this port town ranging from sea and lake fish, lobster, crab and squid.
Labuan is worth a three day visit.

I love it here.
I love it here. The people are so friendly, the food is very good, and the scenery is beautiful. You can book many trips, overland or to other islands, and of course see the Komodo dragon.
There are some beautiful beaches too.
I will come back again!

Great area, but the main attraction is the boat trips to visit the surrounding islands, beaches and Komodo dragons. We booked a 2d1n boat trip. We fitted in lots to this short itinerary but a extra night in the boat, as opposed to the land, would have been better.
Seemed more to do at the opposite side of the island but its too far for a day trip.
Great night market down by the port and lots of fresh fish and fruit available for sale.

It’s rare I’m writing reviews. So far, I shared only 5-6. I’m writing only if it was exceptionally amazing experience or a real disaster…
It’s the first time for me to share an extremely negative experience.
When you arrive at hotel, you expect me to feel minimum trust with it
I stayed for 2 nights in this budget hotel. Usually, people traveling to Flores Island to take one of the ‘Komodo island day trips’. They will be picked up very early in the morning (5:30-6:00am). The trip operator gives clear instructions of how to prepare? what to bring? Ect.
Due to the intensity of the day structure, the traveler has to bring a breakfast box (because it will be very long, before food can be in reach).
I asked the hotel manager if they can provide it to me? She confirmed, mentioning it’s a usual procedure in that area.
5:15 I arrived at the reception… no one was there. Neither the breakfast box.
Things can happen, it’s not a big deal…
When returning back from the day trip, I asked reception to shortly talk with the hotel manager, just to understand what happened? The hotel manager refused to communicate and just disappeared until I departed the next day.
I’ve never experienced before such a behavior, specially from a hotel manager…
It raised a big big Red Flag.
Bottom line: I’ll not recommend to arrive in this hotel. Basically, It’s not to be trusted.

Labuan Bajo needs to be careful with how many resorts they are throwing up all over the place. And educate everyone to stay away form the coral and do not touch the sea life. Float and observe. No fins necessary most of the time. You can float and see more and not damage the coral with big clumsy fins.

For those who love nature, I'm really recommend especially to the Island. Everything was soo nature and nice scenery. Spend at least 3 days as to ensure the place must be visited is captured. Local are soo friendly and helpfull. Don't forget to try snorkerlling if thats a trial for anyone.
The closed area of the hotel was good, calm and pretty green. The pool was the reason we booked this hotel.actually. Not the deepest one but very good considering the very limited well rated hotel options in Labuan Bajo with pools. The individual terraces for each room was a big plus. Yet they are a bit close to each other for our Nordic taste. The buffet breakfast was ok if you come first. They were not very attentive in refilling the dishes quickly.
The country topics for each room was a nice touch (we had Mexico).
A really lovely hotel with old-school banana pancake trail vibes. Basic and clean rooms for a very reasonable price. The view from the pool is one of the best sunsets in Labuan Bajo—strongly recommend lounging in the pool with a Bintang at sunset. If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet base for land trips or a few days of day-trip diving that is perfect for evening relaxation, this is a great pick! Asking about a motorbike rental makes it very convenient to town.
All the family is very welcoming from the smallest ones to Ignasius and his wife. We had an excellent stay with them, apart from the room we booked a trip to Komodo, a motorbike and also we did some laundries at very fair price so he is really really helpful. We had the luck that they let us use the kitchen as well.
Don’t hesitate to go there if you go to Labuan Bajo, with motorbike is only 10min to the city center and the road is in perfect conditions.
Location is great, near the jetty where the boats set off for the island hopping tours. The breakfast is really the highlight - honestly one of the best meals I've had in Labuan Bajo. You get to dine outside your room in the garden with a lovely view. There is a clothesline outside the room to dry your clothes after snorkeling. The owner is very hospitable and we felt very well taken care of.
The location is great in the middle of the city, close to everywhere. Easy to find food around the hotel just 3 minutes walked to food center. Walking distance to the port if you want to take a tour to the Komodo Island. The sunset view in front of the hostel is really good. The hostel have a small pool is good enough to my children to have fun because he likes swimming.
Great room, nice views (especially for sunrise/sunsets), good pool, excellent place to relax (although chairs/table on balcony would be good)
Restaurant serves good Indonesian food (prices ok for Labuan Bajo)
Excellent staff that make extra effort to help (early takeaway breakfast, booking bus to Bajawa, even dropping me off at the bus stop in the early morning)
I’ve stayed at many backpacker hostels throughout the world, and I would have to say this is the best!
It felt like a 5 star beach resort , especially the pools and restobar above!
Super clean and well maintained….! Friendly staff!
Planned to stay for a night but extended to all nights that I was at Labuan Bajo…
Highly recommended
Very central hotel, you can walk everywhere, pleasant layout of the rooms around a central patio, it looks like an old typical house in Labuan Bajo. All the staff are lovely, always ready to help you with everything you need, especially Gege, thank you! The room is very spacious, with a large and comfortable bed and air conditioning.
Nice view, clean and confirtable perfectly. Kind and helpful staffs.
Due to bad weather, the trip to Komodo island was cancelled unfortunately, but we can enjoy enough inside hotel because there are great facilities and lots of activities hosted by hotel. I would like to visit this hotel again to visit Komodo island in future.
everything is good, the room, the meal, the view from hotel, and the staff is very helpful, and Mr. Suni pick us from airport with no charge and accompany us to the mart to buy our necessities👍I will definitely stay at this hotel again if there are plans to go to Labuan Bajo again.
It's lovely place, feels like home. Cozy place. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. Everytime I need them, they will available. The place is easy to find.
The room is clean, tidy, and comfort.
Whenever I go back to Labuan Bajo, I will spend the night here. Awesome!
This place has the best views in Labuan Bajo. From your window and balcony you look directly over the sea. It's magnificent. It's far from anywhere else so you need to hire a car or bike but it's perfect for peaceful relaxation. The restaurant food is OK but a small menu.
The staff were outstanding, they helped us to get the tour in the last minute and provided us with everything we needed! Excellent. Everyone were so nice and hospitable.
View was amazing too. The most affordable star hotel in Labuan Bajo.
The surrounding of the hotel is just fantastic: flowers, bushes and the sea view!
there is a small swimming pool but we did not have time to try it.
It is bit further from the Labuan Bajo (town) so the taxi is needed.
A nicely built hotel (lots of openings, great views and a great pool) facing the sea not too far away from Labuan Bajo (20’ walk to city center)
A nice garden with great trees and flowers and very smiley staff.
The hotel is located near the harbour and there are many restaurants nearby. There's also a rooftop restaurant which offers good services and food. It's good for staying while taking the boat trip to Komodo.
I think it's the best hotel in Bajo. Best sunset view from room or the roof top restaurant. It has a rooftop pool over looking the ocean. Highly recommend 👍
