Fabulous place to spend a week - we visited the Old Town and also walked to the Tombs of the Kings. Great coastal walk with good footpaths and great views of the sea and small beaches.
We visited the livelier parts too - Bar Street etc - wouldn't want to stay on top of there as the bars are open until at least 2am but didn't see any trouble and good friendly staff.
Drinks a little expensive (especially the wine) but food was standard prices

The first thing to know is that there is not one single "...
The first thing to know is that there is not one single "center" or "turistic" part of the city. the majority of turistic shops are on the seaside, but in the inner part of the city and I have to say the are really few. Their opening time are quite weird for my standard, at 5 there was almost nothing open there, while on the seaside almost everything was open till late. In general not a lot of interesting and cute shops, I would say more low quality objects, no handmade and similar.
The archeological park is amazing and the Tombs of the kings are worthy a visit, I was really amazed.
the taxi for and from the airport are really expensive, but there is a bus, 623 which brings you to a bus stop from where is possible, very easily to get busses for each side of the city. each bus ticket is 2 euros while from 9pm is 3. the taxi from at to the airport is on average around 35 euros.
take care of the opening times of the museum because some are closed on Sunday or on Monday or which shorted working time.
On Sunday and Monday a lot of things are closed on the island.
A lot of archeological sites aren´t reachable if not by car.
I plan, if I go again, to rent a car, which doesn´t seem to be soo expensive, just keep in mind that they drive on the left side of the street.
People are also less kind that in Greece, where every time I say thank you, they immediately answer you´re welcome.
I would not say it is a bad place, it doesn´t meet my taste. If I have to suggest a place to visit I wouldn´t suggest Cyprus and if I have to suggest Cyprus, having seen just quickly Nicosia (as a city I didn´t like it at all, while the archeological museum is beautiful) and Limassol, I would suggest Paphos.
I love Greece and the Greek culture, maybe because of that I was a bit disappointed.

Lots of work going on to improve this City.
Lots of work going on to improve this City. Definitely on the 'Up' with constant road/pavement improvements, OK, bit of a pain but has to be done for a better experience for tourists. Our favourite eating places were Dias Zeus and Alkion. We will be back again later in the year. Taxi to airport cost 35 euros but think you could get for 30, shop around. Hope you have a nice time as Cypriot people are very nice, honest and friendly.

Amazing place on earth! We enjoyed our stay in Paphos.
Amazing place on earth! We enjoyed our stay in Paphos. Please select accommodation carefully. We had a guided tour for Aphrodite baths, abandoned ship and blue lagoon with swimming, we ate fantastic food and had amazing walking alongside beaches and promenades.
The staff were brilliant; super helpful and cheerful. We had a delay on our flight and we didn’t arrive until the early hours of the morning. A member of staff had waited up for us to arrive to show us to our room. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast cooked to order and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an independently owned hotel with a lovely outside area including pool and bar. We only stayed one very short night (due to our delay) as we were travelling in Cyprus, but wish we could have stayed a little longer.
location in calm area outside the city center but still easy access to Paphos and coral bay via bus! the owner is a perfect host always smiling and full of attention! the restaurant belongs to the family and the food is very good for really cheap price. you also get a discount because you are staying at the appartment! we had a fantastic time and we can only recommend to everyone who wants to meet nice people with a typical Cyprus touch! far away from the impersonal « all in » solutions in Cyprus! we will come back for sure!
I really liked the location. It's right in the Old Town of Paphos - i.e. surrounded by restaurants and bars and excellent for the evenings. It was also easy to get buses.
The woman in charge was extremely nice and helpful.
There's also common areas including a kitchen and an area with sofas.
The place is extremely basic, but its location and the helpfulness of the woman in charge make it a decent location for a night in Paphos, especially if you're trying to avoid the extremely touristic hotel area.
The room was big and clean. The bathrooms was also very big. The whole hotel, bar, pool area was very good. I can not even find a words to say how nice the owners was. Very organised, friendly and helpful 👌 The breakfast was so tasty, one of the best I ate on Cyprus ! The atmosphere in the hotel was friendly and the owners had a time to talk with everyone. I will recommend for a families and also solo travellers. I definitely will go back again when will travel with my parents ! Thank u so much.
The property is at a great location.
For those who do not need fancy accommodations- the flat is the best. It is clean and comfy. The flat holds everything a guest need to enjoy staying. Plus - it looks and feel brand new and the design is beautiful. Its placed right on the beach and close to every place that is recommended in Paphos - coffee places, malls, and the old town, which saves tons of money on transportation. Another great thing is Nic the taxi driver - great service.
Excellent service and experience.
The feeling is that the hotel is not too crowded, and outside beds are always available.
The location of the hotel is perfect.
We got a room on the first floor with a terace and small sea view, room size was good for 2 plus 1.
The butlers service is excellent.
Food quality in breakfast is very good.
They put mineral water every monring on the room and welcome you with wine and fruits.
The adult area is nice and quiet.
We recently stayed at hotel with our two young children and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is impeccably designed for families and kids, ensuring that every little detail caters to their needs. The location is prime, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas. The staff was courteous and attentive, and the breakfast spread was delightful. I highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The hotel location is great, next to the beach, nice coast walk to the harbour (1 hour) or opposite direction to the church 10 min walk. All inclusive is great , lot of chooise .. Service in the restaurant is good. Very welcoming staff, especially Crissy (hope I wrote her name right) who also did our guided tour to the old city and gave lot of other information about life in Cyprus. Many thanks.
Reception and concierge staff provided a 5 star service. No request too big and very quick and informed when responding to queries.
The property was clean, equiped and comfortable. Close to the very well looked after pools.
The hotel was within 10minutes of the harbour and old town. Perfect for when we wanted to eat out in the evening or go exploring.
Would come back again without a doubt.
Really good value. Although a little tired in places the hotel was lovely and clean, not overcrowded, had lots of entertainment to do and the food was delicious. The facilities were perfect for our age children especially as 2 are not great swimmers. Will definitely return. The pressure in the shower was the best shower I have had in Cyprus which helps get chlorine out of your hair too.
Tatiana is one of the best hosts in Cyprus! She is welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. The property is extremely comfortable and pleasant. You will have everything you need for a fantastic vacation: cozy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, a barbecue area, and the townhouse is conveniently located close to a beautiful sandy beach.
Located in the old town Paphos, this hotel has an air of nostalgia about it, facilities like barber shop downstairs, beautiful backyard in the shade of old trees, where you can enjoy an abundant breakfast (or dinner, later in the day). The personnel is very kind and helpful.
The personell was super understanding and explained everything, gave us a map, answered all our questions. The location was perfect as it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town and a 10-20 minute walk to the tourist area, also the harbour and bus station.
The hotel was perfectly located with plenty of parking, staff was extra helpful and friendly, the room sparkling clean, views excellent both from our room and breakfast area. Breakfast was rich with the best tahinopitta and home made jams.
It was perfect. We stayed over Christmas with our 2 year old and the staff did everything within their power to make it magical. Lovely hotel, clean, staff amazing, food lovely and the all inclusive drinks were lovely!
Good location and good facilities. The hotel is along a long coast of hotels, but has one of the best beaches and sitting areas in front. The Friday Cyprus night was a lot of fun and I would recommend to go!
Absolutely incredible place to stay. Staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Would highly recommend, probably the best hotel in Cyprus!
