This is a beautiful hotel in a peaceful setting, right next to the beach. It is family run and it was clear that the owners take great pride in everything they do, providing faultless service, immaculate facilities and a warm and friendly atmosphere. This is a place to go if you enjoy nature and unspoilt surroundings- it is far removed from the noisy resorts in other parts of the island.
Enjoy a peaceful beach break in this family-run, seafront hotel, located in the tranquil fishing village of Latchi - between the mountains and sea in western Cyprus.

The hotel is located very close to the the city center and just a 15-minutes walk away from the beach. There is a super marked close by and so are many good restaurants for every wallet-size. The neighborhood is safe and you can park your car in the courtyard. The hotel is run by the very kind owner and his brother, who is cast in the same mold. The cosy rooms are clean, calm and they contain everything needed. The beds are comfy and the bathroom has even a bathtub. On the balcony with a pool view you can sit and relax in chairs on a table whilst feeling like Mitch Buchannon watching the swimmers swimming. The tasty and rich breakfast is served in a well-spaced dining hall. The well kept interior hotel spreads the charm of a past that many of us already begun to miss more and more. It feels like walking down memory lane.
Offering a bar and city view, KINGS SQUARE Holiday Apartments is situated in Polis Chrysochous, 1.8 km from Polis Municipal Beach and 31 km from Minthis Hill Golf Club.

Quiet and nice place. Located a bit out of the way in relation to restaurants and shopping. But perfect base for hiking in the Akamas National Park.

As this is our first visit to Polis, we found everything breathtaking, the island, the mountain views, the clear water, the sunshine, food, everything. The roads take some getting used to as you're driving through mountains (ups and downs - some narrow roads) but this added to the adventure. We visited the capital Nicosia - which is a stark contrast from Polis, this is not a bad observation but it did take us by surprise - we wish we had more time to explore. The experience was worth it

A very good hotel for the price range with comfortable beds, large terrace, bathtub and private pool. Parking opposite the hotel is also convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, I can only recommend the Hotel Marion.

Quiet, rural but totally idyllic... you need a car or torch for getting to anywhere in the evenings. The town has fabulous resturants but is still small and non-touristic. We could not find any fault with Polis and will be returning next year.

Pleasant enough town but becoming too touristy.
Pleasant enough town but becoming too touristy. Quite a few empty, run down shops detract from area. The Old Town restaurant by far the best in town. Also try Pas to Kima in Argaka and Restamare, Poto Latchi and Yialos in Latchi.

We stayed at Anassa half board for six nights. What a wonderful vacation! The place is gorgeous, the service is attentive but low key and natural, and the team are friendly and gracious. There are a number of restaurants, food was wonderful in all of them, with some great dishes and lots of choice. The facilities are fantastic and the hotel design is simple and beautiful. There’s a lovely mix of formal and informal that doesn’t quite come across in some of the formal hotel photos. It’s elegant yet laid back which is a great combination
When I saw the rating of the hotel I was skeptical, but after all everything was ok. I understand that some people are giving bad reviews because they expect much more than they should expect from a 2-star hotel. People feel they are misled but there is nothing misleading about the place. Read the description well before you book. What it says there is what you get. Nothing more, nothing less. Stuff is great. There were knocking on the door everyday asking me if i want the room to be cleaned or if i need something.
We stayed in room 104, which is the room featured and has a balcony overlooking the town square. Plenty to view and a few steps away from all the excellent restaurants and taverns that surround the hotel. The hotels own and very popular Asian food restaurant is on the ground floor of the hotel if you wish to stay inside 😀
Very spacious and comfortable room and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Lovely clean bright apartment. The hotel was really quiet when we went in May....often had the pool to myself! Maria and her family are so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us when we had problems with our car and treating us to homemade cakes. Yummy! I'd definitely stay at Stephanos hotel if I visited again.
During our stay in Cyprus (and on our price range) this was the best accomodation we had. Very fiendly and helpful staff, we got another appartement according to our needs, and a very good breakfast with some personal add-ons. You really experience that the owner couple like its job and does all that you feel well.
The best place we stayed in 3 weeks on Cyprus. A large, comfortable and fully equipped apartment with a balcony and views both to the hills and the sea. Hot water and heating so we could be warm even on December evenings - in the day we could walk on the Akamas peninsula in the warm sunshine.
Nice small apart hotel. Very welcoming manager. Explained everything and greeted us with the cyprus coffee and pie. Very nice location.
Clean, quiet, 3...4 minutes drive to the beaches.
The apartment is fully suitable for 2 people.
Highly recommended
We absolutely appreciated the calm location in the nature and the comfort. The family was so nice and friendly. The dog is very lovely. We had 3 locations at Cyprus within our 9-day stay but this was by far the best !
Polis 1907 is a unique little hotel in the center of Polis Chrysochous. The rooms are lovely, tastefully decorated and the space is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I absolutely love this place! Best place we've stayed in in Cyprus. Everything was exceptional, but particularly the bed (my husband is over 2 meters tall, and it's always hard to find beds that are big enough).
so peaceful, very quite . sea is amazing in this part , very clean .
facility of a hotel well managed . rooms a huge , beds comfortable. great breakfast with gluten-free options
