Vejle is a calm, small city different than Copenhagen, but worth visiting. It has its charm with a few interesting places (e.g. The Wave, The Fjordenhouse, a pier or a panorama café on the 11th floor at The Zleep Hotel Vejle). It is also a good base for visiting Legoland in Billund.

Vejle is a nice sized town with lovely shops, lovely people and enough tourist places to go and see. It has lovely architecture, good museums and beaches nearby. Good restaurants with great and plentiful food. Go to the harbour area to see the buildings there, really really interesting. The beer is excellent and a good variety if you like a good one. Did not check out the nightlife sorry. Good train, and bus opportunities. The airport bus stops there and easy to fly to from Manchester or London. Takes around 1/2 hour. Not far from Legoland and Legohouse.

Comfy beds, good breakfast and large room made for a very enjoyable stay.
The location was excellent as we could walk to city centre along a quiet footpath. We had easy access to Jelling from here to visit Viking museum and burial mounds.

Vejle is a beautiful town full of beautiful buildings and nature parks with friendly deer. It is also only 30 min by bus from the Billund Airport. We rented a car and visited Odense (1 hour drive) and to Copenghagen (2.5 Hour drive)
The location of the hotel is great and the room was comfortable - despite the road and construction noise.
Vejle is about 30 minutes away from Legoland and Kolding - a touristic city nearby, and is at the center of a modern shopping/leisure area with a mall and cinema across the street. Icecream at Emma's is highly recommended.
The staff, particularly Jonathan and Helene, were very helpful in resolving an issue we had with the room: at first we did not get the room we expected however on the second day this was corrected.
Very cosy and well-eqipped little apartment with a separate entrance, ca. 15 min on foot from the centre of Vejle. Host was friendly and hospitable; got very worried when I said I haven't eaten yet and was even wiling to feed me in case I didn't find an open restaurant :D Definitely recommended.
Excellent location,, you can easily walk to the center! Great breakfast with even gluten free products! Waffle maker, coffee maker, variety of cheeses and ham, fresh vegetables, freshly baked bread, danish pastries, croissants! Friendly staff at the reception and the breakfast room
- excellent, multilingual staff
- big bathroom
- located 2 mins walking from Vejle Station
- quiet even though the train station is nearby
- 10 mins walking from Aldi
- a few restaurants in the area
- there was enough space to put clothes into the drawers
Host made the best vegetarian sandwich! Pia is very warm and made me feel at home)
The view from my room was the nicest and I could hear the birds from the sea. Got from the house to the center in around 25 min, slowly walking and checking everything around.
- Clean and functional room
- Reception and restaurant staff very helpful and had a very nice personal touch
- Breakfast had good quality ingredients, especially the fruit and bacon
- Good distance (i.e. drivable) to Billund, Vejle, Fredericia
Room was perfectly cozy and comfortable. I loved the bed. Bathroom was very large. Everything is clean. Hotel is very good located and I appreciated that check-out was at 11 a.m. it allowed me to have a nice walk at morning and see a city
We didn't pay in advance, so we had to pay for the room at reception. Our flight into Denmark was late, so we were late arriving at the hotel. The receptionist called us to check on our progress and stayed late to allow us to check in.
Well structured Hotel
- Quick Check-in process
- Enough elevator
- Accommodating staff
- Flexibel bar with nice view
- Well designed and equipped room and bathroom
- Great italian restaurant downstairs
Pia is a mervellous host, she gave us a lot of precious information for Legoland and for our next steps in our holiday all around Denmark, a beautiful Country
