We had an exceptional stay at the hotel, it's such a beautiful building located in a very picturesque town surrounded by mountains and meadows. The renovated traditional house was so well-done and cosy, outside areas were stunningly beautiful as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even though we arrived very late, just before 23:00 we were still able to have a nice dinner in the restaurant. Not to mention the fact that we travelled with our dog and she was very well taken care of and welcomed as well. Thank you for an amazing experience!

The Finca is very good and enjoyable for a stay. The apartment rooms have two individual rooms, bedroom and living room with a kitchenette. There is also a fireplace making it comfy in wintertimes. The owner is very nice and helpful if you need some support. The location is good centrally for hiking or whatever you do in the area.

A two night stay. I had my own car. I stayed at Aracena to use it as the base for visiting the Rio Tinto mine areas, a drive of approximately 20 minutes to the south of Aracena, and I made that mine visit. I also was able to visit the very good Aracena limestone caves, which is right in town. The hotel is right in town, was good and comfortable and I was able to walk around a very pretty town.

The bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The instructions to get access to the key was also very good

Loved that all the buildings were white washed and of uniform size. No carbuncles. Only spoilt by a massive Barcelo Hotel dominating one of the hills. The person allowing it to be built there should be shot or at least give his back-hander back.....
It is a must to visit the Caves and the Castle/Church. Entrance price very reasonable.
A lot to choose from when deciding where to eat.
A lot of places however were very unfriendly to you if you had dogs with you.

Great little town.
Great little town. Famous caves are well worth a visit plus the Castillo. Lots of excellent Restaurants/Bars. The surrounding countryside is the main reason we visited the area and we were not disappointed. Did two amazing hikes, fantastic!

I visited in the first week in March.
I visited in the first week in March. It was colder than I expected (daytime highs of 11-16C). I was primarily interested in hiking and booked a rental car. Aracena is close to all the hikes in my guidebook so I only encountered the town itself in the evening getting groceries and finding restaurants. As always with Spain, it's so frustrating that no restaurants open until 8.30pm, some have "days off" which are not announced and many, even in March, were entirely closed. One really needs a local to help navigate where to eat. Having said that, it's incredible value for money. Dinner with wine for 20 Euros (March 2024).

Aracena was a cute town with a lot of surprises.
Aracena was a cute town with a lot of surprises. The people are friendly and the town is clean and safe. Be sure to visit the Gruta de la Maravillas, a network of caves with wonderful stalactites and stalagmites and underground lakes. Also, the pork in Aracena is to die for. It's the land of Jabugo, the best dried ham in the world.

Although the apartment looked to be placed far away, it was close to the center by walking. The staff of the hotel was really kind and friendly as well. We would have liked to stay much longer than expected, we spent only a night there though.

Beautiful town in the mountains, cobbled streets and white buildings. Great views from the castle on the hill. Famous for the Gruta de las Maravillas which are definitely worth visiting. Great walks in rhe surrounding hills, through cork forests. Really friendly and helpful locals . It was great to try out our Spanish .
I know Aracena very well, The location of the apartment is very good and I was excited about staying in the centre after having stayed in the country on earlier occasions. Everything is within walking distance from the apartment and one can reach the streets from two different sides.
The apartment is well-equiped and has everything one would expect to find in a self-catering establishment and it is clean and tidy. The young woman I spoke to over the phone was very pleasant.
We arrived in Aracena by bus and were met by Luis who took us to the Casita . The small Casita has a rustic feel being just out of town and has been quirkily decorated by Louis’s wife.We felt very at home here as a base for walks in this beautiful area. The pellet boiler kept us warm in the evenings and the house was well equipped. We didn’t have a car so it was 1 or 2 k to the start of walks but we enjoyed our stay including the caves in Aracena.
easy check in and check out. very very clean. breakfast was excellent. amenities were great! thank you Jonathan, Elena, and Ruth—front desk staff was knowledgeable, patient and kind. I don’t speak Spanish and they all were able to make the switch to English seamlessly. my husband and I look forward to another stay with our children to be able to have a romantic stay. the property was so quiet! I couldn’t hear people in the halls or in our room.
Yerba was so helpful with parking, grocery shopping, dining and general tourist advice for the town and the surrounding villages of the sierra. Check in was professional and when our kettle worked a new one was delivered later that day. The pool and garden are very beautiful and relaxing and the whole area of the complex is kept immaculately.
It was small but comfortable, the beds were good and the bathroom worked good for us everything was there what we needed. The property is very nice and quiet and safe. The location was good, right in centre and there was free street parking available. The bedroom and bathroom is on the second level.
Our host was exceptional: knowledgeable, attentive and exceedingly accommodating. He has transformed his beautiful family home into a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this property to anyone exploring the Sierra de Aracena area.
The staff was very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The waiter Pablo and the cook in the hotel's restaurant deserve a special mention as they provided an exceptional service. They even modified a recipe for a dessert following our suggestion.
Large, well appointed room with lots of storage, great views of the town, comfortable bed and pillows, large bathroom with separate w.c. Breakfast options were great. Free motorcycle parking on level ground opposite the front doors.
Room lovely, very clean, warm and welcoming. Shared kitchen and dining room was great especially as I'm vegan so eating out in Spain is difficult. Miguel also looked after our bags on the day we checked out.
Beautiful quiet location but only a short drive (30 minutes walk along a fairly quiet road) to Aracena.
Good continental breakfast.
Friendly staff.
Good walking in the area.
