The location is very nice, among nature, with a nice pool and littles bungalows all around. The staff is nice, even that they don't speak English at all, it was a bit difficult to communicate then, but that's quite common all around Vietnam!

I think Vietnam has better things to offer. The water was green and filthy and everything felt like a tourist trap. Avoid and do other things in Vietnam and for the beaches I recommend Thailand or Philippines

A lovely island for a honeymoon, the choice of resorts is amazing. The town itself not so sure about, a bit tacky party place from what we could see. The plastic pollution is really visible in some parts of the beach though.

Phu Quoc is not quite as well know as some of the other places to visit in Vietnam but please put in on your destinations.
Its the perfect place to end with resorts, theme parks, water parks and a growing tourist destination.
It was the perfect end to our 21 days in Vietnam.
We will go back just to experience the snorkelling, beach side bars and the parts of the Island we didn't get time to visit.
Highly recommend!

The island is well connected with regards to transport, all be it needs some improvement on minor roads. A fair amount of things to do from Grand Word in the north and Sunset Town in the south with the cable car.
It can be quite expensive to eat out and visit the attractions.
The people are super friendly and accommodating.

If you like a beach holiday with plenty of sunshine then go for it BUT, beware of the rubbish problem on the beach and in town. Taxi service is good and always use local contacts not via hotel reception. Our hotel had a free shuttle service to and from the airport. There are quite a few trips you can take but we didnt have time in our schedule. We did walk into the town and as usual was amazed at what the Vietnamese can transport on a moped/bike. It is warm with high humidity and we had almost 3 showers a day. Phu Quoc is not as busy or congested compared to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh and was actually a welcome break from the chaotic madness of the above. If you decide to travel to Vietnam and travel around we were glad we done north to south as you end up in relative calm
Fantastic resort with a great price to quality ratio. The breakfast is absolutely spectacular, so many choices, especially traditional vietnamese food. The staff are very accomodating and kind and polite, and the room is incredible. Very comfortable, and great island life feel. The decor is very nice as well, and the lobby area of the hotel feel very relaxing. Between the pool and the sea you are always covered! Hotel staff very helpful in recommending day trips from the resort.
Words aren't enough to describe how elated we are to share our experience with Ocean Bay Resort and Spa. The resort has magnificent views and is well maintained by the staff. If I'm not gonna lie, I would love to quote about their hospitality. The Vietnamese delicacies we had at the resort were just wow. Everyone and everything about Ocean Bay is worthy of appreciation. We really loved spending time at Ocean Bay, highly recommended to everyone planning their visit to Phu Quoc.
Create location, the beach was in 3 minutes, sand and water were clean. The sunset is wonderful. The hotel is not big but has very large, clean, light and fresh rooms. The cleaning was very good. The stuff was very friendly, helpful, our stay was exceptionally great. Also worthy to mention Tran Bão Châu, she was so nice with us and accompany us to 3 Islands excursion. We have only positive memories about staying in that wonderful place.
Very nice and new and cheap hotel in the town center, close to everything. Rooms are super clean and well furnished, the reception area is very well decorated in a typical Vietnamese modern style, and the coffee / bar on the rooftop is amazing with a breathtaking view on the Gulf of Thailand and the whole Phu Cuoc island. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money
Couldn't fault the rooms, they were huge and the beds were so comfortable. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool. Staff really go above and beyond. Breakfast was very good. You can walk to bars and restaurants from the hotel, and it is about a 20 minute walk to the night market too. Would highly recommend this hotel! It really feels like a 5 star.
I liked the beach and the pool at this hotel but that’s about it. The gym looked OK but I didn’t go in. Breakfast was good but didn’t get a chance to try the main restaurant as staff didn’t show us where it was and we got lost and so ate outside the hotel grounds. Certainly didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel, facilities, or service.
This trip was absolutely wonderful because we chose Hung Vuong Resort as our place to stay and relax in Vietnam. I think at this price, everything is very much worth it, even exceeding expectations. Experience it if you have the chance to visit here. The staff and service quality are incredible.
Really lovely resort with a swimming pool, good dining both breakfast and dinner. The staff were very informative and helpful. Were able to hire a motorbike to see the sites and do our own thing, Very relaxing and quiet - it should have been our last destination in Vietnam instead of the first!
We stayed 7 nights. I give the Phu Quoc Ocean Pearl Hotel very good star rating across the board: location near Duong Dong and near sea, 5 star for staff friendliness and helpfulness, cleanliness, cozy rooms, excellent sound insulation of rooms, and breakfast buffet. We fully enjoyed our stay.
Everything I needed was there! Great local foods restaurant, Clean room and Amazing stuff!
I stayed 5 start hotel before this, but I felt this hotel was way much nicer. this comes from heart warming stuff for sure!
if I come back in Phu quoc, I will definitely stay again!
This was better than the 5 star hotels we stayed in. The staff were delightful. Helpful but not intrusive, nothing was too much trouble. The setting was idyllic and the beach was out of a movie. Cannot fault our stay. Try to get a beach front room for extra wow!
Pretty good hotel to stay. Our kids were really enjoyed their 2 days in this hotel,So did i.The swimming pool was the cleanest one i've ever used.I would recommend it to anyone who has a plan to spend their time in Phu Quoc island.
Very nice hotel and people. Close to the see and very good 60’ massage on the beach for only 200k 😀. I have used every day.We recommend to rent a scooter from hotel and travel allarround the Phu Quoc..😅.
I had a wonderful experience at the BB Hotel & Resort. The rooms were clean, new and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing, delightful and eager to help! Thank you!
Will recommend to my friends!
Fantastic location, hotel is on the beach and night market. Able to rent motorcycle to explore the island. Staff very friendly always smiling. Tea from the beach bar was amazing-always making us smile
Best place ever. 😄 really this place is amazing. Good location, friendly host and nice house. I feel more like be at home then on my trip cross Vietnam. 😊
