We were delighted to find our room so clean and well decorated. Antoinette had made towel swans and even a towel frog for our kids. She had filled the jacuzzi with rose petals in the shape of a heart and balloons. It was such a great welcome to a beautiful house with a beautiful host. She was always available to help and give advice. She walked with us and showed us all the shops, she even drove us to the beach and helped us with our laundry.

We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals.

We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals. That being said, groceries are not cheap in Jamaica! Amazing seafood meal at Bashment bar and grill, a little shack on discovery bay beach!!! Don’t let the place fool you, it was the best seafood I have had near Runaway bay for a decent price. Driving is not for the weak in Jamaica, it is a busy road often many delays and can take some time to get to where you are going. But overall, such a beautiful country with the best people.

I liked the view, the general structure of the property. I didn't like how lazy some staff seemed, specifically the person to whom complaints are filed. Attitudes of some female staff needs work.

Check-in was horrendous, it took them 1-2 hours to get us to our room. Be prepared for a reception that is not ready for guests and were almost surprised we turned up despite paying for the entire stay in advance. Fortunately, I had printed a hard copy of the booking otherwise I'd be spending the night sleeping on the beach. Phone the hotel directly was futile as they never pick up the phone. Surprisingly this was the same from the actual room. Security is pretty hostile to paying guests and if you have a car prepare for no parking spaces if you even get let in. On Fridays there is a Sound System outside the hotel playing at 80-90 decibels and the hotel does nothing about it go luck trying to get some sleep. The hotel has an empty disco playing at around 70 decibels till 2am every night. By the way noise above 70 dB over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 dB can cause immediate harm to your ears. Be prepared to supply your own beach towels. Room towel and bed sheets are not changed daily. The was built in 1958 and the room safe is from the late 80s. Food is acceptable but they seldom have the national dish of Ackee and Salt Fish and the bar runs out of Wray and Nephew white rum by noon daily.

The apartment was super nice. It was clean and modern. I love that there was AC in each room as well as the living room. There were alot of small appliances provided as well as condiments, seasonings, teas etc. Everything you could think if that you needed to use was there. It was simply excellent. Each room including the living room had a nice big flat screen tv. The view from the house was also excellent. I love the bathrooms. I love the decor, the tables, the chairs....Really nice home away from home. Love it!

The location was convenient for me and since I had planned on being away from the apartment for extended time, this type of facility was ideal over an all inclusive option. Was there for 17 nights but visited friends and relatives in two other parishes, so was actually there for just about a third of my stay. I found the staff to be courteous and accommodating. I felt safe at this facility. I would definitely recommend here to someone who is interested in this kind of accommodation.

The grounds and the ambiance were superb. We asked for adjoining rooms and our request was met. The buffet variety, especially on Independence Night was excellent. The guests were served jelly coconuts. This is a rare gem! Breakfast was always excellent and the variety provided at the hotel is commendable. The orange juice was A class. The beach at this hotel is one of the best I have ever seen. It was free of sea weeds! It was clean and clear! The water was addictive! Superb!

The hotel itself is decent. The food was okay. We got a complimentary Al a Carte dinner at the Italian restaurant which was veryyy good and they have parties every night at the Bahia Village which were very fun. The entertainment team is amazing!! They had various activities throughout the day that were actually pretty fun. The staff is exceptional! Very helpful and ensured we had a good time! We had a few hiccups but ultimately we made sure we had fun.

It was clean and well equipped with amenities. Breakfast served on time and the food was very tasty. Location is nice and peaceful and has easy access to public transportation. I enjoyed sharing the fruits crops dotted across the venue. Especially picking my own cherries, June plums, mangos and pumpkin. The scenery is breathtaking especially the setting of the evening sun from the balconies.

I loved the friendliness of the staff and their ability to interact and lyme with the guests. Big up Sandy, Jade, Kelsene, Carlyle, Jevaughn… yeah man! 😄 The place was always clean and tidy. The variety of meals I was offered being in the Luxury part of the hotel and the service throughout as well. The hotel had multiple amenities to take advantage of…

Best all inclusive we’ve been so far. All inclusive meant all inclusive, including room service, laundry, whatever you may think of. The buffet has a pretty varied selection of food options, nice drinks and very good gourmet restaurants as well. The service all around was top notch.

Mr Bailey and Princess were really accommodating. I recommend it to any family or solo traveller. The view over looking the sea with the morning sun is magical. Mr Bailey's made my family of 5 breakfast. When we do return to Jamaica, we will be looking for another nights stay.
