We took a suite as we knew we would be tired after our journey and want to spend time relaxing. It was very spacious with a small private patio where we could sit out if we wanted to. The bathroom was super clean. The hotel itself was centrally located but not noisy: we could walk to wherever we wished. The breakfast was good with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff were friendly and helpful. We plan to stay again on our return trip.

Very friendly and helpful man on reception. We were organised with bicycle storage and in our room in no time. Comfortable beds and a hot shower. We could see the Roman Bridge from our room and it was an easy walk into town.

The host was super super friendly and explained everything very well even though I can't speak Spanish and he only spoke a little English ;-)

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable room.
Cangas de Onis, is an interesting town. We spent some time people watching at the Roman Bridge, strolling along the river bank and enjoying coffee and beer at some of the cafes and bars. Good choice of restaurants for day time and evening meals, catering for most tastes.
A good base for exploring the Picos de Europa and the wider area.

The hotel is close to the famous Puente Romano and the center of town. Very short walking distance. The town is beautiful and close to the Covadonga church and the Lakes of Covadonga. One of the most beautiful places in Spain.

My review of Cangas de Onis might be slightly based on my endless love for Asturias but apart from that, it's a lovely town to visit, get to know local food, craft beers, cider, treats and see surrounding mountain landscapes. There are several shops to get local products, typical for the region. There are even places with vegetarian food options that are usually difficult to find in rural Spain. For me Cangas de Onis was an intermediate stop on the way to Poncebos to do the Cares Gorge trail. Places that offer vegetarian food: Felix Cafeteria Bar, Casa Luisa, Cafe Picos

Cangas de Onis is a great place to stay if you plan to tour the lakes of Covadonga. There is a tourist bus that operates much like a hop-on-hop-off bus that takes you directly to the lakes and also to the town of Covadonga.

Lively town with lots of bar & restaurant choices - El Molina de la Pedrera was our favourite. NIce walks along the river and good access to the Picos via bus - bus station is close to centre. Very helpful tourist office.

Very busy with a LOT of tourists but it is August.
Very busy with a LOT of tourists but it is August. Town itself very disappointing. Nice walks along the river and beyond. I’d recommend the blue trail for experienced walkers. Really nothing much in the town. Lots of fair to middling bars and restaurants.
Super location close to Cangas de Onis and Covadonga. Corao is a nice little village and a great base for exploring the local area. We really liked the little bar at the end of the village for a cold beer or two after a warm day's travelling around or walking.
Casa Mones is a super comfortable little house with everything you could ask for.
The owner is especially helpful and welcoming too. We appreciated her help in ordering a taxi to the Parador de Cangas as our Spanish is very limited indeed.
Our room was super cozy, and even if we didn’t have a view on the mountains, you can just hang out in the picnic area on the other side of the road to enjoy it. The hotel is surrounded by nature, the only noise you’ll hear it’s going to be a cow or two. We had everything we needed, we self checked in really easily and the staff has been really nice and available for the best recommendations as well. I would really recommend adding the breakfast at your stay and enjoy a coffee with a view
Very friendly hosts, helpful, providing tips for nice restaurants and other places.
Cangas de Onis is a nice town, it has one high speed charger (for our electric car) at the bus station at walking distance, the centre has lots of good restaurants. There is a kayak rental place in Las Rozas (K2) for going downriver. At the bus station you can take the bus to the two lakes higher up in the mountains for a nice walk.
Location was central to nearby downtown shopping and restaurants, literally across the street! It was also central to many Asturias points of interest (within 30 minutes to several). Staff was very friendly and accommodating and entire hotel was very clean. Breakfast options were sufficient, good quality and fresh. Loved our stay!
The apartment was so welcoming and well put together for a short or extended stay. Fantastic location and Cangas de Onis is THE place for hikers wanting to trek through the Picos Mountains. And El Prau de Mito is a perfect starting point and so wonderful to come back to.
Walking distance from bus station, room was very clean, and good breakfast! No air conditioning but it was actually not needed. Cangas de Onis is near the mountains and it's much cooler weather here which was a nice break from the heatwave going all throughout Spain.
The location is fantastic right next to the famous Roman Bridge. There are lots of shops, restaurants and cafes very close all within walking distance. It is a budget hotel but it's a good hotel.
Nice hotel, very friendly with secure garage 20 metres down the road. Lovely town with lots of traditional restaurants and a must visit to the Roman Bridge in the town. Excellent value for money.
Perfection. Absolutely loved our stay here-the views are incredible. Beautiful design, modern and comfortable. Close to Cangas de Onis and the lagos de Covadonga. We will be back-thank you Paco!
