Cannot give too much praise for the flamenco at Tablao El Cardenal. The best flamenco we experienced out of 3 other shows. Highly recommend. Winding streets of old town were easy to navigate with gps. The Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba is a must-see.

We have returned to Cordoba perhaps a dozen times, and have always stayed at Las Casas de la Juderia, except for the occasional desire to explore. Las Casas however, is now an integral part of our Cordoba experience.
Cordoba is an easy city to walk, the sites, dining and shopping. The day starts with the 8:30 brief walk through the Mezquita (no entrance fee), breakfast, walk the town., light lunch, usually boqerones en vingre, walk some more. Then hit the beautiful pool with my book 4ish, and out for tapas around 6, and later a restaurant or more tapas.
Cordoba is glorious, the people, sites, food and is very courteous and polite. The alluring Moorish influence is everywhere.
Cordoba (and Sevilla) are as special to me as Florence and Salzburg, BUT DIFFERENT!

This is my second visit to Cordoba.
This is my second visit to Cordoba.
The city is rich in culture and history.
I like wandering through the Jewish Quarter, take a walking tour and learn of the peaceful co-existence once shared by Muslims Jews.
Learn about the wise physicians who performed eye operations nearly 1000 years ago.
The Cathedral Mosque is a must see.
Walk across the Roman Bridge in the evening and see the Cathedral lit up.

The weather was shitty the weekend (36 hours) we were there but that din't take away from the awesomness of the mosque/cathedral. That alone would have been worth the trip.
Also great the Palace of Viana.
LIke most of Spain Cordoba needs a bit of sun to truely shine, but it is a place I would go back to.
The 5/5 stars on google and the 9.9/10 ratings on booking.com are definitely well deserved! We liked the unique interior design a lot. The entrance was welcoming and cutely organised. The receptionist took her time to sit down with us and introduce to us the attractions, food choices and secret tip of Córdoba. Our car was taken care of by the staff, which was all in all very helpful. We felt like at home and the familiar staff members fulfilled all our wishes and more. We‘ll definitely visit Cordoba and Hotel Suite Generis again!
It was one of the best locations in Spain so far, super comfortable furniture (bed and sofa, also a little table for work) inside a room and common space, almost absolutely silent space with relaxing sound of water coming through windows, peace and air conditioning. There was even space for little cooking! Apartaments are located inside a patio in a very peaceful area of Córdoba, quite close to main must-sees, but also close to non-touristic attractions, like very local bars and churches.
Such a wonderful boutique hotel with amazing staff, superb food and beautiful facilities. We were greeted and looked after royally from the moment we arrived, which was two hours before check-in; it was not a problem at all and in fact we were given a tour and refreshments and left our bags at reception. The breakfast was excellent and this, combined with a full Cordoba wine tasting with an expert sommelier, provided us with a great taste of high quality food and drink.
Sensational - so impressed by the beautiful surroundings, the luxurious rooms, the history of the hotel and the breakfast room with the Roman ruins under the glass floor! We were upgraded to a junior suite which was spectacular, the gardens and pool area were very well kept, and the staff were so helpful. We loved drinks in the gardens and dinner under the stars in the courtyard. The best hotel we stayed at in Spain!
Beautiful hotel in central location, only couple of minutes walk from the Mezquita, situatied in a traditional building. The rooms (at least ours) facing patios so very quiet despite being in the center of Cordoba. There is a dance school next door and you can hear local music during the day from your room which is a bonus. Comfortable beds and pillows, good night's sleep, and well maintained local style building.
Rooms were fantastic! Modern, comfortable and spacious. Great for a short or long stay with nice sized bathroom, main room and kitchen area that had a washer and cloths drying rack. Best air conditioning in Spain! Area was 10 min walk from the center with lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Hosts were great at communication and available for any questions. 15 min walk from Train Station wasn't bad either.
The hotel was small and charming. Very helpful staff, though some spoke little English (and I spoke little Spanish). The breakfast was sufficient (toasted rolls with tomato purée and finely chopped ham, hard boiled eggs, small yogurts, fruit, VERY strong coffee). We checked out and (with the staff’s help) left our luggage in a locked closet for a final day’s wander in Córdoba.
Loved the location down a little side street but very close to lovely squares and sights of Cordoba. Clean room and friendly staff. Pretty patio in entrance and on roof. We like that the hotel is family-run and Rafa and front desk drew really informative map for us for our stay. The restaurant next door to the hotel was one of the best meals we had on our holiday around Spain.
Comfortable hotel with all you would expect from a 5 star. Location is good too. The Alcazar is just across the road and the Mezquita 10 minutes walk. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by and the Mercado Victoria is 2 minutes away. The hotel bar was good too and the breakfast spread was excellent and we will definitely revisit on our next trip.
Realy nice place in the middle of the historic city. Very friendly hotel team... treat you like family. ... but the best was the little terrace up on the roof... so relaxing, peaceful, in the evening light and just the buzz of the city down below. Met and chatted with very interesteing other guests up there too!
Everything was perfect. Location, accommodation and staff
We were welcomed with a little platter of cheese and cold cuts in our room. Lovely little touch we have been travelling around Spain for three weeks and this is one of our favourite hotels. The room was also very large Would definitely recommend ,
This is a lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable hotel. It is very well positioned so that everything is easy to reach. The best was the hospitality and kindness of the hotel staff who were there to respond to any need as a matter of course.
Amazing to sleep within the ancient fortress walls of Cordoba. I wasn't expecting that....
And to hear the host with friends singing flamenco on the hotel terrace. magic experience.
Great hotel! Beautiful rooms, a wonderful courtyard with pool and the staff was very friendly! The bus station is 2 min away, which gets you directly in the center.
It is a beautifull little hotel, with very friendly staff. It is located just inside the historical part of Cordoba, a 10 minutes stroll to the cathedral.
Luxury property in a perfect location. prepare to be treated like family! My absolute favorite hotel during our 3 week stay in Spain. Eva is THE BEST!!
