It is port city. Not touristic. Bad moment - was no beach near and everywhere in cafes and restaurants no wifi internet. no printed paper menu, it is needed to be scan by QR code with special application in mobile phone which need internet connection. Why no wifi? When in all other cities in Spain this option is available.

It's a very interesting and nice city.
It's a very interesting and nice city. People are very kind and pleasant. There are not as many tourists as in the south of the island. Living in a local neighborhood outside the center was very nice to interact with local people. There are many pleasant cafes and restaurants. There is also a great urban transport system of trams and buses. It is also a beautifully green city with many parks.

We have only ever visited during carnival which is extremely full-on everyday, so don't expect to feel rested after a holiday during that period. But do expect to feel exhilarated by the noise, music, costumes, fancy dress and joy.
I think it would be a lovely place to stay outside of carnival as a city break in dependable warm weather.
Its an easy bus trip to Playa de las Teresitas, and there are many efficient bus routes to other regions of the island. If you wanted to go off the beaten track car hire would be useful. Few if any organised trips start from Santa Cruz, for example, trips Mount Tiede tend to originate from the southern resorts.
Much of the centre is pedestrianised. Its a city for locals so don't expect all menus to be translated. Food orientated towards local taste also, which is excellent IMO.
Lots of good shops in the centre.
No great permanent cultural highlights, although I understand the Tenerife Orchestra is one of the best in Spain.

A really beautiful hotel located in a quiet street but close to everything. Nice kitchenette that allowed us to cook some simple meals during our stay.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. They did something really special for my husband on his birthday and even gave him a gift. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
The decor of rooms is very Zen and conducive to relaxation.
We wish it had a pool, but other than that it was perfect for us.
Lovely little hotel at the center of Santa Cruz. Good place for shorter stay, if you want to base yourself in Santa Cruz. Attention to detail, nice and clean rooms, the girls at the reception very nice and helpful. Special thanks to Raquel, who was helping me with some local information on transportation and also kind to find me an early morning cafe open on Sunday. Lovely breakfast made just for you and nice roof top. Very intimate and peaceful place.
The hotel's location in Santa Cruz is excellent, it's right on the main pedestrian area of the city. I found the bed comfortable and, unlike the rest of the room, the bed sheets were clean. Temperature in the room was perfect during my stay in February but there is no air conditioning so I imagine it'll get hot in the summer. The room was dated but functional. There were two sockets available, and two that were taken by the TV and the (noisy) fridge.
I enjoyed the staff friendliness and readiness to help. One evening they even helped me get accommodation for a friend of mine who couldn't find another hotel in town. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was always super clean. I like to sit outside their café where they have a nice and quiet spot that I used to work in the morning. Their wifi was fast and allowed me to work with no interruptions.
Loved everything. Really nice townhouse in Santa Cruz. The rooms were very relaxing and had a beautiful little balcony onto the street where I could see life happening below. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended over large hotels in the area. Stop into bodegon el puntero for some local, traditional food while you are there. Almost as good value for money as Pension Casablanca!
Parigi Hotel is in an excellent location for visitors to Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Although we only stayed for one night, we also felt very much 'at home' due to the exceptional care we received from the host Milena and her mother. The breakfast was very good quality and the outside terrace was a nice option to enjoy a good coffee and a small slice of home made cake!
Great base in the middle of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. During our stay, we had a lovely large room overlooking the park across from the hotel. The hotel is equipped with a very nice rooftop terrace with a pool and jacuzzi where you can also spend your evenings. Good value for money.
An opportunity to visit many interesting places without necessity to come back to hotel every night.
Nice design inside the caravan: blue curtains, blue sitting place. Mirror, enough dishes, gas and fridge. A lot of USB chargers inside. Good lightening inside.
The hotel is located in the centre of Santa Cruz, a block away from the Principe de Asturias park/square. It was a decent value for money, given the location. It had a 24 hour reception desk and the staff were nice and approachable.
Location was perfect, second time we have stayed at AC hotel in Santa Cruz and it exceeded all expectations once again. I loved how they left me a cake for my birthday and a little note. Such a lovely thing to do.
The rooms were spacious and well kept, and there was a good selection of items available at breakfast. The location of the hotel is great, with the main attractions of Santa Cruz within walking distance.
Location and hotel facilities were great! Being next to the park was also a big advantage and walking distance to the town center. Transport was also great in Santa Cruz. Staff was also great!
this hotel is 5 star ..was amazed at the price..best hotel I've stayed in in Santa Cruz..will only stay here in future...excellent bed...2 tvs with Netflix ...did not want to leave...
Amazing hotel with great facilities (e.g. gym, pool, wellness, park) and great breakfast. Nicely located close to a park and nearby to the city center of Santa Cruz.
A lovely hotel in such a great location. Shopping, restaurants, sights to see all within walking distance. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfy.
The hotel is located right in the centre of Santa Cruz. Its easy to find and access. The price is very great, especially if you're not going to stay in the hotel
