Breakfast and Dinner are served in the beautiful garden of the kasbah. You can enjoy some fresh air while eating outside in this fairy place, it feels like you are in a romance , not real life. All the meals are simple but tasty and it’s very nice that you don’t need to drive out of the kasbah , you can just go on enjoying the beautiful place.

It’s a little paradise with its cosy cabins and many areas to relax. The food is exceptional, dinner as well as breakfast, and served in a romantic atmosphere. Most of the food is from their own crops. The hosts are very friendly. They will even wash your clothes if needed.

A nice kasbah in the middle of the palmeraie. Bedrooms simple but very clean. Beds comfortable. Home made dinner and breakfast just spectacular. The staff is very friendly. Mohamed gabe us good advices for our journey
Very accommodating host. The only issue was the mattress, which was changed as soon as it was brought to the host's notice.
Meals were prepared by the lady of the house. Breakfast was included, evening meal was optional. Wifi was excellent. The hosts own palm and pomegranate orchards locally, and offered tours within his family's ownership and around the vast & historic Skoura oasis, with its many and varied casbahs.
There is a range of places to eat in Skoura, an interesting street market and good banking.

This was a bird-watching holiday and we chose Skoura because it was accessible to known birding sites to the west and the east. However, we discovered that Skoura, and Sidi Flah a few miles to the south, are brilliant birding and walking locations in their own right.

Scenic and interesting, with nice side trips to a gorge and a casbah. But in a first trip to Morocco where we wanted to see Fez, Marrakech & the desert, there wasn't much time to squeeze in more at Skoura.

The family was very nice and friendly.
The family was very nice and friendly. Very friendly personal, nice view, Eventhough we arrived late, they prepared us the whole dinner (soup, main and desert) which costs 9 eur per person. Breakfast was also delicious.

Felt like home first step in was amazing made us feel like home and went an extra mile for everything. I’ve been to many amazing hotels but this family run hotel and their eye to detail was just amazing
Muhammad was so lovely we wish we could have just bought him back home with us he was a lovely so and an amazing cook and made the best tagines we ever had.
Ahmed the manager was so lovely too and did more then a manager would and helped us in all our issues and we will definitely be back
The property is beautiful and we were welcomed so warmly by Mohammad. He showed us the property and the gardens, which is beautiful w. many fruit trees. But above all, the dinner.... was A-MA-ZING! Mme. Najate is a 5-star chef. Everything was seasoned to perfection - it wasn't just our best meal in Morocco, but one of the best meals we've ever eaten anywhere. Breakfast was also fabulous and plentiful - with an egg omelette in addition to the typical breads, jams, olives and dates.
Ahmed, wife Fatima, children Younessef and Sara and his mother were so welcoming. Ahmed met as in town and led us to his historic home in the middle of the oasis. Fatima cooked a great supper for us with less than one hour's notice and also provided a big breakfast with home made crepe and bread. The guest house was huge, the bedroom warm with lots of hot water and the bed linen was
very comfortable. This is a VERY special place that Ahmed has opened close to the Dar Ahlam hotel.
We found our best hotel in morocco this trip. The upgraded room was large and well equipped. Our host spoke good English and was very friendly and helpfull. The grounds of the hotel are nice with orange and pomegranate trees. Very tranquil. We had a very good dinner and breakfast.
Wifi worked, but was a bit weak at times. Good enough in most places.
As mentioned, easily the best place we stayed. Too bad we could only stay one night due to our schedule. We'll be back.
Wow. We planned on getting here early to enjoy the pool for the afternoon. What a delight!
We could have stayed another day just to hang around the garden and pool. The owner was so nice and her staff is some of the best we have ever encountered. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are decorated quite well.
All the food was amazing. We ordered lunch in the garden and had dinner with them as well. It could not have been any better.
This farm was really fantastic!
Both brothers were really friendly and helpful. The way to get there is not so easy, but the place is really great for relax.
Everything was clear, dinner was fantastic and morning omolette also :-)
I can only recomend to stay there. Unfortunattely we had only one night, but I hope in our next visit to Morocco we will stay there longer.
Thank you for everything and hope to see you again!

The hotel is set within a museaum, and the host explained a lot about the culture and development of society in Morocco. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. We ate at the hotel in the evening and the food was superb. An enjoyable and memorable stay in an amazing building with friendly and exceptionally helpful hosts. Star gazing from the roof was an added bonus.
This ione of the Best hotel a ever stayed in in Morocco. typic casbah in palmeraie of skoura close to the famous casbah of ameridil.the food was delicious next to the fire with a good price 10€ per person. The room was comfortable and so clean, and from there I can see the pool and gardin and it was raining that day but it was good because the palmeraie need it
Perfect place for a stop to valleys from Marrakesh. The garden was just beautiful. The staff was so friendly and provided everything we needed. Cannot ask for more. The dinner was fantastic (best chicken tajine we had in Morocco). The breakfast was amazing. This is the best place among 11 different riads/ hotels in total we stayed in Morocco.
You really are living with the family which I loved. Especially the ladies. The hotel is quite rustic and simple but it's all you need. Great breakfast included. I was here end of Jan so it was cold in the room but they lit the gas fire in the lounge for meals. Fantastic walks in the oasis to last all day. Day trips also by taxi.
Spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated place! Service was exceptional. We arrived during a sandstorm, so weren’t able to take advantage of a number of fun things to do in Skoura, but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating . It was a great place to take a break from a road trip.
Very nice lodge with a beautiful garden and a big and nice pool located in the Unesco world heritage oasis in Skoura. Our house/room was big and beautifully furnished. Delicious breakfast and dinner. There are good facilities in the garden (table tennis, beach volley, palyground etc)
Beautiful oasis in between Marrakech and the Sarah. A welcome stay consider 2 nights to enjoy all the amenities.
Rooms large and clean, facilities excellent, breakfast was lovely. The beautiful pool and garden are clean with plenty of space. Must add to your trip to Morocco
What a lovely stay! We were welcomed very warmly by the family. The owner gave us a lot of great advice for our stay in Skoura and beyond. The rooms were comfortable and the food was great - with much of it sourced straight from the family's garden.
We liked the location and the hotel itself very beautiful. The staff was very good, well behaved and very helpful.on my birthday they made a delicious cake. It was a pleasant stay here.
Our stay at "
The Kasbbah Datte d'Or "was awesome 👍👍 very close to Skoura village & Abdellatif & his family were very friendly & very welcoming ..thanks .
One of the most wonderful places to go in Morocco
Magical dinner in the garden with typical music
And absolutely the best palm dates to taste in Morocco!
