The room was super clean and quiet. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is simple, but there is everything you need. I travelled with 2 small size dogs, staff was friendly with them and the pet fee is very affordable.

    Hinton is always a perfect stop when travelling to visit our family in Alberta. The view of the mountains both coming and going is absolutely beautiful. Accommodation is reasonable in price, and lots of good places to eat. We had supper at Smitty's and the food was excellent and portions very generous. It is very easy to get around.

    Near Jasper without the high cost, grocery shopping near hotel. Excellent Korean restaurant and reasonable down the road. Off the highway enough for little traffic. Noise. Excellent hospital staff and physicians .small town feel with Excellent facilities. Economic activity robust.

    Hinton is a great place to stay for good hotels with reasonable price. Didn't get chance to explore anything in particular in Hinton. There was a a travel of 45-50 min involved to visit places nearby Jasper so keep aside 2 hours for the day if you are staying in Hinton.

    Hinton was just an affordable rest stop before we spent the day in jasper. The town was quite peaceful and surrounded by mountains and hills. It was a spectacular morning view. there were many restaurants open which provided us with good breakfast options. It is a bit far away from Jasper, about an hour's drive. That was the only downfall of this town.

    Hinton is best if you want to save some money for overnight...

    Hinton is best if you want to save some money for overnight stay, visiting the Park and mountains further west, also you can get all things from the store there, good choice of restaurants, the only negative is the factory in Hinton that spews some kind of terrible pollutant that is very intense if the wind is not taking that away from the town, one can smell it feel it.

    I had a fantastic stay at Hinton Lodge for a day! Its proximity to Jasper National Park, just one hour away, made it a perfect base for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area. The convenience of having great dining options like McDonald's, Burger King, Walmart, and Tim Hortons nearby was a big plus. The breakfast served at the hotel was also quite decent, ensuring a good start to the day. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more convenient and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

    Hinton Lodge exceeded all of our expectations! It was very clean with a fabulous view of the Rockies and the rooms had everything needed for our stay: microwave, fridge, hairdryer,etc. The free breakfast was great and all we needed for our day of adventures. The price was great as compared to staying in Jasper and we were only a short drive from the park. Sheila at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating. Overall I’d recommend Hinton Lodge to everyone heading to Jasper.

    it’s located close to hwy 16 so it is easy to access Jasper. Grocery shopping and the mall are also very close. The room was clean and we had fresh towels everyday when we were back. The staff is amazing! One day we had a battery issue and the ladies in the front were so kind to help us boost our car. All around amazing, will definitely come back again next year <3

    Convenient location for an overnight stop on our travels home from Edmonton. Handy having Smitty's restaurant next-door. Check in was straightforward; the receptionist was polite and friendly. Room, bathroom and sheets were clean. Liked the wood floor, rather than old carpet that is often found in 'cheap' motels - at least we could see it was clean.

    Location was the best thing about this hotel. It is along the highway and directly across from the train track. It is located above a karaoke lounge and has a liquor store on site. None of this is indicated in online ads. The advertised restaurant in the hotel itself appears permanently closed.

    Spacious double queen rooms, above average breakfast, friendly staff, ample parking, very reasonably priced, shower water pressure was 10/10. I've stayed a few different hotels in Hinton and this is definitely my best experience yet.

    Nice and affordable hotel in Hinton. We spent one night before heading to Jasper. The hotel is conveniently located near Freson Bros. that is probably the best place in town to buy groceries.

    It is a decent hotel outside of Jasper with affordable charges. The staff is very accomodating, we had a broken toilet flush and they gave us access to another empty room.
