Breakfast was very satisfying with good choices and varied daily. Real silverware! All staff were very polite and friendly and provided good tips for exploring the area. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable; a good place to hang out. Staff loaned us an umbrella for a walk in the light rain. Location is good - we walked from the hotel around Little Lake and back. Stopped at the Canadian Canoe Museum and the Art Gallery along the way.

Sweet place. I would have liked more window and door coverings as I felt rather exposed, with a lack of privacy. Otherwise, it was a lovely little place to stay for a night.

Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. Also, there are many shopping options and not far to Oshawa or Go Train to Toronto.

It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. It’s no longer the beautiful city I remember and would never consider retiring there.

I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.
Lovely hotel which I find is one of the best Comfort hotels I ever stayed in the past. Breakfast is very good, staff is very nice and helpful, room is lovely, beds are very comfortable, swimming pool is beautiful. Clean and nice hotel. Loved the location as it has joined door with Kelseys which was very convenient for my senior parents to go to when they need a meal. It is also very close to the down town, just 8min drive. The hotel exceeded my expectations
Having a bunk bed and Xbox in the room made the kids' experience top-notch and they are still talking about what a great time they had- in fact, this hotel was the highlight of their trip. The queen bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size with two chairs and two tables so that we all had places to hang out together. The staff was really accommodating and we appreciated their help with our (rather numerous) requests.
Great selection however there were 2 hockey team families there also so no room to sit selection low and room was messy. The male staff person tried very hard to keep up. Cudos to him. Very noisy rooms above and on each side of us. Could we not have been placed in a different area of the hotel?
House keeping staff were super friendly. They greeted you in the hallway and wished you a nice stay. A note was left in the room saying to enjoy the stay. I forgot tooth brushes and we were provided with some free of charge with tooth paste. I thought that was a great feature of the hotel.
I have stayed here many times..The hotel is very nice.It resembles many boutique hotels I have stayed in the past. This is definately a hidden Gem.Located right downtown.Very safe and clean. With restaurants and bars right beside it.Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
We had breakfast next door at the Whistle Stop Cafe. We waited for one hour for breakfast to be served.
The staff thought was delightful.
We were sorry we did. It have the Continental breakfast at the hotel.
Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Rooms are always comfortable, quiet, and it's very cost-effective. The Quality Inn is my go-to place to stay whenever I come to Peterborough, and would recommend it to anyone.
It was a disgusting hotel there was a very bad smell coming from every angle of the whole time,
There was a used condom on The floor of the room and I guess I needle from someone taking drugs
Very clean and nice. Great hotel for a staycation! They allowed us to check in a little earlier too. Breakfast was decent, but overall it was a great stay.
