Israel’s tiny speck of Red Sea is squeezed between Eqypt (Taba) on one side and Jordan (Aqaba) on the other side. Eilat is a resort city for glamorous people lying on the beach and scuba divers under the sea who come together for superb sunsets and long, warm summer nights.
Many tourists use this 7 km stretch of land as a passage to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt or onwards to Petra in Jordan. However, if you stay, this glitzy destination provides relaxation all year round at its numerous luxury hotels and beaches. Coral Beach is the dive centre headquarters with its spectacular coral reefs.
The Tayelet promenade is a place to stroll and search for the perfect restaurant or boutique shop. The southern part of the magnificent Negev Desert can be accessed from Eilat by 4WD tours or bus. This Bedouin territory includes the Great Rift Valley and the Eilat Mountains Nature Reserve.
The sparkling Gulf of Aqaba provides the perfect backdrop for local Israelis and international tourists to party into the wee hours. Festivals such as Red Sea Jazz and Red City during summer help to fuel the busy beach activities.
There are many seaside resorts and chain hotels on Booking.com. Backpackers and families are also provided with ample choices.

Very nice beach promenade, good for strolling around after dinner. Plenty of very nice hotels and restaurants around. There are a lot of trees and flowers in the city, one of these is the terminal park which is very close to the mall. The underwater observatory is a must-visit. We were blown away by it. You can see the mountains of four different countries from its rooftop. Spending a whole day there is recommended. The botanical garden is also pretty good, can be covered in an hour and a half with lots of nice photo opportunities. There are snorkeling etc. water activities, and a bird-watching park as well, but we did not get to visit those due to time constraints.

Eilat is growing exponentially.
Eilat is growing exponentially. It is located by the Red Sea, with Petra and the Jordan mountains next door. The mountains go from beige to purple and pink at sunset, a stunning view. The sea is warm and full of fish. People like the water sports there, though I like to lie by the pool. The weather is warm most of the year.

Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste.
Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste. Despite no VAT prices are high and the assortment in the shops is provincial. For decent beaches go South of Coral Beach or preferably to Taba Heights in Egypt.

Fun fun fun!
Fun fun fun!
Israel's Las Vegas, without the gambling, but with coral reefs.
Something for the whole family.
The weather is (almost) always great (except in the heat of summer). Otherwise go indoors or into the water.

A great place for a couple, a big plus is that pets are allowed. The studio is small, but has everything you need, clean and comfortable. And a huge bonus is a gorgeous balcony with stunning views of the whole of Eilat, the sea and the mountains. You can fry meat on the balcony. The downside is the uncomfortable shower and poor drainage. But these are small things and do not spoil the overall impression. Excellent value for money. We will definitely come back! Thanks to the owner!

Eilat was is and will be our 1st choice for a family summer vacation. There are great beaches to spend the day, snorkeling swimming or just hanging around. Eilat has great attractions, great restuarants and great shopping centers.
Also, when it's not dead hot, you can base in Eilat to do great hikes in the lower parts of the Negev and Arava
A good value to your money. Very clean, small hotel, near the centet of the city. So not far from the beach(15 - 30 minutes of walking). The rooms equipped optimally.A little small was a standart room, but you have everything you need. The hotel appropriate to the short staying in Eilat, but without spending a lot of money. The staff was very friendly and kind. When they found out about my husbands birthday in the arrival day, sent to us a bottle of wine tho the room.
We chose the Lagoona for a few days after arriving in Israel and heading to Jordan. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a marina view room that was good sized and well equipped. The restaurant provided very good, fresh meals with a wide and changing variety available. They provided some nice entertainment and some alcohol is also included. We did go out for a nice walk one evening, but other than that there was no reason to leave the resort.
The services were very great. The service staff especially a man, who seemed to be in charge, I guess called Zaid personally visited, or at least called us daily to ask if we needed anything. After doing the room, they left us a big dish of 3 kinds of fruit, some times chocolate or biscuits, although our booking didn't include any meal.
The way the rooms are engineered or designed gives much privacy and calmness to the hotel stayers.
Thank you very much for spending a great time at the Brown Hotel, and special thanks to the receptionist Maayan...it was a very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel...and the kind treatment of the staff, especially Maayan, she took great care of us and made us feel as if we were in our second home. However, its prices are very cheap compared to these high features. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful place!! Artistic building in a great location.
The weather in Eilat was so good like in the summer and there is a pool in the hotel and also outside in a walking distance a beach of the red sea.
The service was very nice , staff are professional and have very good soft skills .
This is a real 5 start hotel very high standard, high quality , extremely recomnded .
The Breakfast was excellent, and consisted of the usual dairy selection that can be found in Israeli Hotels.
There were also lots of sweets, fish base dishes and so on.
It was about 80% the same, but with some variability daily.
The room was always very clean, both on arrival and after the daily cleaning.
special
thanx to louie at Central Park hotel and Cynthia at palms - for Saco g a very uncomfortable situation - and being so amazing, supportive - assisting me to solve the booking problem and move hotel . They both deserve a promotion! ;)
loved the saunas!!!!!!
Mati Titonchi and her staff made our stay exceptional.
The service and attention we received was better than any 5 star hotel anywhere else we have stayed.
I couldn’t recommend this hotel in Eilat high enough.
EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!!
The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained. Kitchen is fully equipped. The host is very nice. And the most important it is super clean. It was cleaner than most of 5 star hotels that I have been to.
The room was clean. It has kitchenette which I enjoyed. Strong enough AC. Nice shower. Comfy bed.
Very quiet. It is located on the other side of Eilat from all the hotels, which for me is a good thing.
Hotel is near to everything, room is very clean, the staff were really nice especially ava hamama helped us a lot,, if i came back to eilat again i would just chhose leonardo plaza hotel
Basically there is nothing positive about the place, the best part was when we left the pithole and found another place to stay. We felt cheated by the hotel and by Booking.com...
We were moved to Eilat Club hotel. The hotel was better than expected based on the reviews. We were provided with access to the gym which had a sauna and jacuzzi which was nice.
I think it is the best hotel in Eilat.
Staff is friendly, the room was big, very rich breakfast buffet and checkout time is 12 pm compared to other hotels where it is 11 am.
Cheap but has most facilities one could need when visiting Eilat. The pool and courtyard area is nice and it is only a walk away from the Promenade, shops and beaches.
Location is good, value for money (relatively to Eilat ofcourse) is ok.
Brown decor (i find it very stylish)
Bed is super comfy
Breakfast is good for boutique hotel
Feels like checking in to a boutique hotel with extra attention to the little details and fun surprises waiting in the room. We found our vacation home in Eilat.
