It was very nice stay. The hotel was neat and clean.
Tha staff's were friends. It is very good location near to the souq and the Nizwa fort which is at walkable distance and can witness Omani traditional dance and dramas.
The food in the Turkish restaurant just below the hotel was very good.

Nizwa is a lovely city with lots to see however it is also central to many other towns and sights within easy drives. The highlight for me is the Friday goat market and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Nizwa.

Nizwa is a beautiful little town you need to stop by if you are venturing around in Oman. The Nizwa fort is a must. I learned a lot about the country and Nizwa by walking around and seeing the exhibition and everything else. Also in Nizwa, you have a small and cute souq. I found the prices in Nizwa lower than in Muscat, especially the saffron. If you plan on going to Muscat after Nizwa, I would also recommend buying a scarf there. I also loved the fruit market where I got to taste Halwa in different styles (something I wouldn't have dared try at a restaurant) and just the smells and atmosphere were incredible.

True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf.
True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf. Citadel is worth it and well preserved. Old souks are also real. It is a nice hub to visit the area and fort around it in Hamra, Bahla and even to go to Jabal Akhdar. strongly recommend one of the charming hotels inside the old city. Problem with Niza (like much of Oman) is that outside of nature activities, there is not much to do. no good restaurants, festivals, concerts, or places to go out to.

Very nice city, souq, castle, fort and mosque all close one to each other, so really convenient to visit them together. A lot of restaurants, bars and amenities. Qaboos mosque 10mins far from city center, it needs a car to be reached.

people ale super nice. they were talking to us, waving, asking if we are happy here and wishing us good stay. beautiful old town, gorgeous old buildings. amazing and not so priced food. in central souq prices are high, but if you go to eastern souq you can meet nice people and buy good things in great prices! there’s drinkable water on the streets for free. lots of plants in whole city. unlike many big cities, Nizwa is very walkable, you don’t need a car or taxi to explore it. highly recommended:)

Nizwa is a small yet beautiful town located at an hour and a half drive from Muscat. Drive from Muscat to Nizwa and back has breathtaking views especially during winters and people are friendly.
Trip to Nizwa Souq is a must and drive around the city is enjoyable too. Souq offers the opportunity to experience the culture and heritage of Oman and Antique shops are amazing.
For those going to Jebel Akhdar, its just 35 - 40 kms from Nizwa, depending on which part of the town you are in.
It can be just a day trip for those travelling from Muscat or a weekend retreat if someone is looking for a small break.
Overall really worth a visit.
After traveling a month in Oman and staying at several dirty, worn, overpriced hotels, Nima Guesthouse was a welcome change. We loved our double room at the back of the property. Clean, comfortable, and QUIET (the best sleep I had in weeks). The manager, Houssain (and his lovely girlfriend, Nazanin), and the staff are warm and welcoming. We made good use of the well stocked kitchen to make our own meals. Nice outdoor terrace to hang out and meet other travelers. Great central location.
The accommodation was nice, old Omani style, clean and in the heart of old Nizwa.
The staff are nice, friendly and helpful. We arrived early, after a long overnight flight and 2 hours' drive. The staff allowed us to check in a couple of hours early which was great as we were exhausted and badly needed to get some rest. The accommodation has a nice swimming pool and is located beside a cool little Caffè.
The breakfast, buffet style was nice and plentiful.
The owner and all the staff were very kind and friendly. The room is confortable with an open space (patio/balcony) with tables and chairs where you can relax. The hotel is located in the centre of the ancient Nizwa. Nearby there is the souq and the fort (two must to see places). A special mention goes to Alì (the owner) that was very friendly and gave us many helpful information. What to say, everything is perfect at the Omani guest House.
The hotel was on our route and easy to find with a fabulous pool area and several bars. The restaurant we ate at for dinner was superb as was the food and wine. Staff were extremely helpful everywhere, from reception, cleaning, restaurant and bar. Having stayed in three hotels in Nizwa this is our favourite. Decor was tasteful and unique.
The location in the centre of Nizwa. Near the souk. There was a public parking space near the hotel. The receptionist went with me and guided me through the narrow streets of Nizwa to the parking space.
The renovation of the old building into the hotel was incredible.
You can order a breakfast, which is in a nearby neighboring hotel.
The hotel has a great rooftop terrasse where meals are served, with a lovely view on the gardens and on the nearby Nizwa Fort. The food itself is always filling and there is choice for everyone to enjoy.
The rooms have that authentic feel that we were looking for, and the mattress, despite being on the floor, was very comfortable.
Awesome location, very clean room, beautiful paintings and design. There was an actual artist in the hotel at all times who did the paintings in the hotel, and we could watch him paint.
First hotel in Oman where I got enough towels. ❤️
Very comfortable bed.
Perfect location, very well maintained, clean and well equipped.
Ideal for families looking for a perfect getaway.
The pool is well maintained.
Highly recommend this place to stay if planning to visit Jebel shams and Jebel akhdar and places near Nizwa.
It was one of the best stays we had in Oman overall. The hotel was super clean and new, Rooms were huge and the beds sooo comfy. Hotel has swimming pool and a small gym. Seriously one of the best hotels we had, thank you.
Excellent location near Nizwa Fort and restaurants. Spacious accommodation with everything we needed. Nice view of the fort. Free parking onsite. Easy check in and check out. Quiet. Clean. Had a great stay!
A tipical omanian hotel in the heart of Nizwa, few steps from the fort and the souq. The room was really nice and tipical, it has got a swimming pool and also a very good rooftop where we had breakfast.
the pool , gym , breakfast
check in / out was super fast it took less than 5 min
the mall + wadina water park is close to the hotel
nizwa suq took 10 min
Oman museum is 15 min from hotel
Nice historic rooms in the old city of nizwa. Gives you an nice impression of the old houses. Very close to the Fort and souk. The owners welcome you with Omani coffee and dates.
The location are nearest the shopping mall but quite far to the Nizwa Fort & Souq and what is important is the price is cheap for the whole apartment - 2 bedrooms
This guesthouse is a little oasis close to Nizwa city center, very quiet, cosy traditional Omani apartment, spacious garden and nice terrace with good breakfast
Great location and atmosphere. It is traditional, spacious and clean, and all of this for a really good price. It represents Nizwa and Omani heritage well.
