I don't recomand Macedonia in general.
I don't recomand Macedonia in general. It has nothing worth seeing. I wish I could even avoit it for transiting to Greece. We litteralay got robed by border police entering from Serbia. They demanded 50 Euros to let us in, saying that our printed copy of the green card was no good, even though Macedonia was mentioned on it, just because they didn't like the paper it was printed on. We used the same copy when we entered from Greece and didn't have any problem what so ever. People in Macedonia are unpleasant in general. I think is because Greece gets all the tourists😉.
It is a very nice and new hotel. I am almost sure that we were amongst the very first to stay in the room. The location is excellent, especially if you are planing to cross the borders, which are literally a couple of kilometers away, so you can plan to skip the traffic. It is also next to the city, so there are a few options for food/coffee. The gas station next to the hotel has a small market and is open 24/7, so there is no stress if you need anything at any time!
Everything was perfect. Location, with parking place inside the yard. Apartment was clean and cozy, with everything you may need for a nice stay. And one detail was most charming of all! Host, Zaklina, fantastic, beautiful lady with a smile for everybody. Meeting her was such a good delight. Thanks for everything you did for us.. and thanks again for a bottle of famous domestic Macedonian wine.
Excellent location, especially if you need just a sleepover. close to the border, close to city center. Very very clean, new apartments. Great bathroom! Spacy bedroom. Nice and polite staff. Excellent price for the quality. Apartment gave us more than we actually needed. Now we know where to go next time when in Gevgelija. Booking provided us with some discount, which was ultra cool.
I had a great stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located near the border. The rooms were clean and modern, with comfortable beds and amenities. The staff was polite and helpful, and they gave me some tips on where to go ex food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The place was really nice and clean, with pool with refreshing water. The kids loved it! The host and her son took really great care of us, providing all that we needed. Thank you, Jadranka and Tomi! It was short, but fun and restful stay. Especially for the amazing storks with the little ones all around Gevgelija.
An excellent location just near the Greek border with really nice rooms appointed with everything you could imagine and great staff. The restaurant was a pleasure for dinner and the included breakfast was wonderful. We're not big gamblers but the casino looked like it was nice. Also theres a spa!
Comfortable big size rooms, sparkling clean, quiet, a lots of free parking spots. Ideal if you want to spend night on your way to Greece. Petrol station next door, same owner...Riste the menager very kind and hospitable. The best roasted lamb in N. Macedonia is 2 minutes walking distance.
We like very much the location, the hotel was in the center, has a supermarket on the downfloor, Cafe on the 1rst floor. Room was big and clean, bed very comfortable, air-conditioning, and balcony, the price was really low for the room.
The hotel was clean. Big room. A very good place to stay on the way. Wifi ok. We didn't use breakfast due to early departure and a long journey. In the vicinity, the bakery is open from 6 to 24 with all the Balkan specialties.
Large, clean rooms.
Nice pool area.
Just by the border near the highway. Perfect if you cross the border late.
Very nice restaurant with nice food.
Large secure parking in front of the hotel.
Everything was very good, very nice stuff and clean rooms with a garden in front and behind that is a harmony to sit and just relax, all my recommendations for Hotel Asikot.
