Fly to Athens, then take a 40-minute domestic flight to Milos Island. Alternatively, take a 3-hour ferry from Piraeus Port, Athens. Adamas is 5km from Milos Airport or Port.
The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers to reach Adamas, Greece is Athens International Airport. It's well-connected globally and offers frequent domestic flights to Milos Island, approximately 120 km from Adamas.
Adamas, Greece, offers limited public transport. The most common mode is the local bus service, operating daily routes to various points of interest. Taxis are also available, though less frequent. A little quiet in Low Season.
A little quiet in Low Season. Transport to explore rest of the Island was difficult to plan at times.
On the whole, restaurants and shops that were open were very good and reasonably priced.
Car hire recommended - especially in Low Season.
Much of Adamas is built on a large, steep hill - it would be difficult for people who have limited mobility. There is however accommodation at more managable heights.

Overall the place was fine, it was clean and close to the sea, restaurants, supermarket and the bus station. I didn't feel like I had anyone to communicate with when I needed something, and when you arrive at a place you don't know, it's very, very important to have someone to ask something, or ask if something is missing. Although they gave me a WhatsApp number to communicate, the only time I needed something they didn't answer. The room itself is comfortable, although decorated with no style (unlike the beautiful courtyard) there were cats walking around in the courtyard which were cute but sat on the chairs and sofas, so I was not so comfortable sitting outside because I'm allergic.

Adamas is a small town but really lovely along the water and with lots of restaurant choices, and a few nice bars. Most of the other transport options are based here also - eg: car/scooter rental. Being so close to the port is so convenient for the ferries, and I would definitely recommend staying here when coming in Milos.

If you take a trip to Adamas you need to book a boat trip, especially for 6+ hours with lunch, it is SO worth it. I recommend Odyssey A. Cruises. They were amazing and the food was fantastic. I stayed for 3 days but could have been for for 5-7 days and done more boat trips or drove to more beaches and spent longer at each one. I highly Recommend renting a small smart car, especially if you have luggage. A quad or scooter is fun but not ideal to bring luggage from a far away hotel/apartment (more than 5 min walking). Nicki Motors had great prices and accommodations. Go to different parts of the island. There is so much food and the people are really friendly.

Lovely harbour and restaurants.
Lovely harbour and restaurants. The people are very friendly. Best to learn the road signs if you intend hiring a vehicle. Don’t park on the harbor road even if you find others parking there as you may be fined by the Port Authority.
THE BEST! Don't think twice, just book it! The location is in short walking distance to the port and also to drive to landmarks and beaches. The room is exceptional - very clean and comfortable - looks just like in the picture so there's nothing to worry about. It's fully equipped with new and great facilities along with welcome snacks basket which adds lovely touch. All staffs are so nice and are willing to help you with anything. If we get to go back to Milos, we will definitely go for this hotel again 100%.
Everything was very nice. The room was Very clean and had a beautiful Ocean view. The owner, Margarita, and her husband was Very helpfull. The hotel is a bit far Away (3-4 km) from a city and restaurants and since I didnt rent a car Margarita helped me with contact informations to a taxi and the schedule of the busses. The last day she drove
me to Adamas. One night I walked to Plaka, it took me about an hour.
The hotel is great if you want to be near Sarakiniko Beach.
I enjoyed everything at my stay.
It was quiet & relaxing yet close enough to walk into Adamas village/harbor area in about 10 minutes. The pool was lovely with an ocean view. Everyone who worked there seemed happy & were very helpful. Bill highlighted key spots/ restaurants we may want to see & arranged a day’s car rental for us with an hours notice, so we could get to various spots on the island farther from the hotel. Made to order breakfast was served to our ocean view porch as well, which was a wonderful start to the day!
This was one of the best hotels weve stayed in when in Greece. This is a family owned hotel. They were kind, inviting, and made us feel like family. The hotelnis in a great location.... walking distance from the port, yet feels like your in the countryside. Hotel and rooms are very quite and very clean. They gve us suggestions for activities and rentals, which were perfect for our little excursion. Thank you for letting us feel like a part of the family during our vacation.
We had a delicious stay at Semiramis Hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet street of the center of Adamas, and has a wonderful garden in which we take the breakfast under the shade of a wooded patio. The rooms are super clean and tidy, bathroom too. We had a terrasse in the room, very convenient to take some fresh air early in the morning. The staff is very warm, welcoming, and accommodating: we couldn’t ask for more. We highly recommend!
The hotel is located on a convenient location in Adamas, a 5m walk to downtown and very close to the seashore restaurants and the port. You can actually walk from the ferry and it takes you - with luggage - no more than 10m. The rooms and private bathroom are large, spacious, with white and light bamboo colours (just like the whole hotel). You get a few non-alcoholic drinks from the fridge, including 2 small bottles of water daily.
We loved everything about Hotel Eleni.
We could not recommend this place enough.
From the moment you arrive, the host Eleni is so kind and welcoming.
The rooms were so clean and changed every day. Anything we needed from directions, recommendations, wine glasses and an iron, Elenie was at hand.
The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the ferry port and the centre of Adamas.
Truly a wonderful stay. We hope to return
Eleni is an absolutely amazing host, truly so kind and only wants for you a comfortable and enjoyable stay. She is the sweetest and we wish we got to spend more time with her and talk. You’re in good hands here! The hotel is a few minutes away from the port and Adamas area which is full of restos and shops - I recommend the gyro/souvlaki place Yankos for a bang for buck option and if you feel like splurging check out NOSTOS.
Lithos was everything we hoped for and more! Perfectly situated above Adamas, the island's port town, with only 6 absolutely spotless rooms and plenty of parking space for your car, it was an amazing choice for us. Theodora and her family where warm, patient and so very helpful with everything! The breakfast was the best we had in all of Greece. So fresh and lots of variety. All in all a perfect hotel, definitely 5 stars!!!
The owners of the hotel and their staff were incredible. They were professional but really enjoyable to be around in the evenings for late night drinks at the property bar. The room was spotless and spacious. They told us where to go around the island and gave great dinner recs. We will definitely stay here if we visit Milos again . Great location and walkable downtown.
Most friendly, professional & accommodating staff.
Responded to our needs (eg.different pillow types were provided).
Checked back on our overall satisfaction on several occasions
Location is pretty central to Adamas.
Breakfast is descent & safety measures are adhered to.
Pricey hotel, however consistent with the prices in the area for that type of accommodation.
The team at Argo-Milos were exceptional. Professional and efficient. The high quality of service and the attention to detail makes it the ideal accommodation to enjoy your holidays. The hotel's location is convenient and has a great connection to main spots of Milos. The room was clean and bright. Thank you for your help responding to all of our questions.
Ostria Hotel was perfect for our stay in Milos. Theodore at the front desk initially gave us a ton of advice on where to go and what to see- he was amazing! We had a big room with a big porch right on the first floor. It was close to everything in the port, very walkable. Very clean and delicious breakfast. Would recommend to anyone staying in Milos!
The hotel is at 10 minutes from the center of Adamas, walking along the seaside.
The most plaisant of this hotel is that is manage by a family, who is always available to help you on any subject, advice, organise and book everything for you. Thanks to them, our stay in Milos was just perfect. This is much more than an hotel!!!
Good : very lovely appartement, welcoming staff, 10min from the port of adamas which is perfect to travel in bus and enjoy the restaurants, big and clean room with a table outside with a view of the sunset. There are many cats around the hotel which are so cute and gives cuddles. I recommend !
The room was comfortable and clean, with A/C and wifi working very well. Breakfast was delicious, with some greek options and Flora was always nice and helpful. Hotel is a 20 minutes walk from Adamas port and city center.
Great pool. Good location - removed from busy Adamas centre but still easy walking distance. Nice little beach directly in front of hotel.
