The town is probably the cosiest on the whole island. Easy to get anywhere you want with a scooter or car. Just an incredible place for a vacation!

I loved the view out of the property. The staff were lovely the room was superb I have stayed in a few other places locally and thetis had the best beds and clean modern bathroom. The kitchenette area was stocked with a kettle and toastie machine and mini hob cutlery and cups provided fridge with small freezer and cool pack. Genuinely brilliant !!!
Cleaner came everyday did a fab job !
The room was spotless I was very happy with my stay my partner who has been going to the area for 10 years said it was the best bed he's slept in and my little girl had a lovely stay. The addition of kids play area downstairs was lovely

I’d suggest you get here soon, whilst it retains an element of the farming area, soon to be lost as it’s concreted over. It’s probably got all the rooms and eateries it will ever needbut when did that ever stop progress ? Fab sandy beach and shallow harbour. Enough nice walking in all directions. Perhaps there was a Obese’n Inky Festival taking place on the week I visited, way too many wide loads pavement blocking, desperately searching for another fill up !AlanUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar...
We liked the very small beach just below the Shoestring bar and restaurant and when we occasionally ate out of an evening we liked the Lemon Tree Taverna just 200m from the apartment. Alikanas is easy to get around and has a couple of reasonable supermarkets and tourist shops. It has a pharmacy and a private emergency medical centre.

Home away from home.
Home away from home. Whether you've visited multiple times or for your first trip you will be treated as a long lost friend throughout the resort. Every restaurant and bar has it's own special charm but all are worth a visit. Many bars and hotels allow you to use their pool and facilities. Alykanas beach is a shallow, sheltered cove and Rasa provides a more remote but picturesque alternative. Shoestrings is certainly worth the walk.

This is our 3rd time in Alikanas, its such a lovely location...
This is our 3rd time in Alikanas, its such a lovely location its lovely and flat for people to get around you can walk straight onto the beach from the road there is plenty to do and plenty to see with the locals willing to help they are very friendly. The views are amazing, its only a short drive from the airport which is good.

Cousy and clean apartments located with private terrace to the mountain view.. all just few steps from the beautiful blue bay. The beach full of nice sand, sun beds, beach bars, plenty of water attractions. Lots of traditional Greek restaurants, taverns and bars offers great variety of food and drinks can be reached by feet in jus few mins in both direction as the apartments lies between two shore villages. We stayed in the new block where the rooms are modern and well appointed. The pool area is large and there was never a shortage of beds. The breakfasts are lovely and a nice variety. The Grapevines is in a quiet location about 15 minutes to the beach and a stroll to the bars and restaurants. Andi, the owner is friendly and very obliging as is the new bar man.
