made to feel very welcome on arrival, and given excellent advice on local tavernas for dinner. Lovely room and balcony, equipped with a handy fridge.
Breakfast! In addition to the option for a made to order egg dish, (l had omelette) a very extensive array of cold food was serviced; fresh fruits, breads, toasties, meats, cheese, yoghurt, cakes etc - all so delicious l wrapped up my "leftovers" for lunch.

This place has lots of charm. A little old fashioned but real character - our seven year old daughter thought it looked like a palace! A lovely big pool, and just a short walk to the beach or town (though you do have to walk a little way along an unpleasant busy road). The breakfast was generous and varied - coffee, yoghurt, honey, omelette, plums and peaches, cake etc. the staff were extremely friendly

Nice little seaside town which is kind of frozen in earlier times. Has a great row of tavernas to match the stunning houses of seagoing folk who inhabited the place in former times. (Word has it that the only way in and out of town in those times was by sea.) On the whole, nice people and there are some tremendous places to eat in Galaxidi. It's also a great place to stay if you want to see Delphi. About 40 minutes away.

But we asked the 2 rooms near each other and the view of the sea, we received 2 rooms not near each other, 1 room without sea view and with very small and unequipped kitchin and 1 room with sea view but without kitchin.

The hotel is nice, small but very charming. The location is unbeatable, at the entrance of the town but right next to the port, where all the restaurants are. But the best is its people. All the people who work there are charming, helpful and friendly. They do everything with love. When we left they gave us a pot of homemade jam. If we return to Greece one day, we will surely visit this hotel again. Oh, the breakfast is abundant, homemade and great.

The rooms are comfortable and decorated in a period-appropriate manner given that the hotel is in what was once a mansion. The Greek breakfast is fantastic and consists of bread, various marmalades/chutneys, cheese, ham, and eggs. Chrisoula, the owner, is on hand to answer any of your questions regarding the breakfast or anything else related to the hotel. Overall, a very positive experience!

Galaxidi is close to Delphi and other significant attractions but maybe because it was early in the season we found it quiet and laid back. A real gem with a number of excellent restaurants and tavernas. The guest house uses a keypad room entry system which worked well for us. The breakfasts are very good, with lots of choice and selections of the owner's delicious home-made products. The area around the pension is really quiet. All in all this is one of the best places in Greece I've ever stayed in.

The balcony with garden view actually had a view on the sea, which was very nice. You can go and swim in the sea in front of the hotel but wear surfer shoes because the rocks and sea urchins can hurt pretty bad.
