Truly this place made my trip because of how helpful the staff members were. They are always willing to help you to their best capabilities. They were accomodating and very sweet family. However, doesn't mean the room wasn't good, it was very spacious and clean. The location of the stay was perfect, it's in the central city so everywhere is close by.

Ios Chora is the main town on the island of Ios. It's full of friendly local people, and a mix of expats who have made their homes there, or who visit year after year because of the island's ambience. My stay was over the Easter period, which in itself is a marvelous opportunity to observe or partake in the ages-old traditions of the Greek Orthodox religion. Later in the year, as the temperatures heat up, the town welcomes a much younger crowd, as bars and nightclubs open up to transform Ios into "party island"!

Ios is a beautiful island.
Ios is a beautiful island. The beaches, the food, the people, the buildings, the scenery, the nightlife, the chill factor but most of all the overall vibe is the best of any of the Greek islands I have visited and I can’t wait to go back there. The boat trip taking you to the 6 beaches is amazing with snorkelling thrown in. The square and its bars is a must. Sunsets in various location are stunning and the local traditional restaurants provide amazing food at reasonable prices

October was a very out of season time to visit Ios, most bars, restaurants and shops were closed so there was not much to do in the main town. The buses had stopped doing all routes apart from 3 stops.

Chora is the only one village on the whole island, very pitoresc and full of small streets with lot of shops, bars and restaurants. There are a number of beaches on the Island, worth to visit and very good accessible by car. best of all for sure the Koumbara Bay with the perfect sunbeds and great service, not cheap but worth each penny!
I had an amazing time at Petradi Hotel. The staff are so welcoming and wonderful… from great tips on what to do on the island to helping with car rental arrangements. Thank you Despina ❤️ As previous reviewers have mentioned the sea view is insane. You could spend the whole day by the pool or on your balcony admiring the panoramic views, it’s that good. The location is perfect. Half way between the town and the beach, all walkable and there’s also a bus stop 10m from the hotel to take you to the town. Would go back in a heartbeat.
This hotel is one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed in! Even though we came end of season and it was relatively quiet (great as the weather was amazing and it was like having our own private place!), we were made to feel as important as any guest. Perfect location (you can walk from the port) and with a real relaxed, traditional, family feel. The design of the entire place is rustic but boutique chic all at the same time. Cannot recommend this hotel enough- you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely return.
Great accomodation in Ios, I would say one of the best there, bc you have a PERFECT VIEW for the whole village the same as you can see on a postcard. You walk a bit and youre right in the center where all the noise is happening, also great pool on the roof on 1 of its buildings. Typical breakfast as anywhere in Greece, nothing extra but enough. For me the view and the position of the hotel a little bit on a hill was the best, you can very hardly get better view on Ios than from this hotel.
The property was in an ideal location, 5 minutes walk from the port, located beside the path to Ios Chora and the bus stop was right outside reception!
The staff were so thoughtful, very helpful and friendly. The pools were lovely and pool bar. The rooms were very clean, spacious and there was very good Wi-Fi. I would highly recommend staying in Kritikakis Village.
Perfect location , we could go to town , to the port and even to the beach Mylopotas on foot Our hosts were really nice and attentive. We appreciate to relax near the pool after walking all day . Rooms are clean with a little balcony . The bus stop is just in front of the hotel .
This hotel exceeded all expectations. The location and view were amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. The welcome drink overlooking the sea view was a lovely touch. The breakfasts were the best we’ve had in Greece. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The property was lovely. Right behind the beach. Could use the sun loungers for free if staying at the hotel. Lovely bar and restaurant. Nice pool area. Nice short walk to the ferry, local bus and little restaurants round the harbour. A lovely peaceful place to stay.
Free pickup service from/to the Port by hospitable owner Nikos.
Nice view from the terrace to the opposite hill, Ios Chora with the Church Panagia Gremiotissa and the three chapels above.
Central location, Cleanliness, Comfort, Value for Money...
Avanti has exceeded my expectations! The hotel is beautiful, the room was tastefully furnished and it was very spacious. The view is incredible and the staff was helpful with all my questions.
I would definitely return!
A beautiful property within walking distance of the port. The hotel also had a beach just across the road with its own sun beds. Sharon, the owner, and her staff were extremely helpful and responsive.
This is such a beautiful hotel! Excellent service! The hotel staff have all been very helpful and friendly. The food is tasty and at the breakfast has a variety of options. Good size pool. 10*
Lovely hotel, it was super close to the port which was really handy. The rooms were spacious and kept lovely and clean every day. The staff were all lovely too.
Everything! It was the best hotel we have stayed at in Greece! The view was unmatched. Irene was so accommodating and made us feel at home. Just beautiful.
