This was easily one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Every member of the staff was so attentive and kind and generous. The room was elegant and comfortable and the breakfast incredibly delicious.
When we arrived late after ferry delays Stratos greeted us so warmly that we instantly felt safe and warm. After dinner nearby he recommended and showed us to a gorgeous patisserie where we got stunning baklava which really added to an already lovely evening.
With an early flight we thought we’d have to skip breakfast but somehow against all odds we were fed fresh bread, homemade jam, eggs with salmon, tea, coffee and warm pastries in a matter of minutes. The staff made us feel so special - truly a beautiful establishment.

Fabulous old elegant building, with long history (which they explain) - eg., massive high ceilings and shutters.
Arty decor.

Perfect lcation. Probably because we lived on the 3rd floor, it was quiet at night. The noises of the night life of the city could not be heard.

Old Town lovely to mooch around with many retail and dining options. Both forts are impressive structures but a bit lacking in information and museum exhibits - very reasonably priced. Highly recommend Listons for coffee and lightmeals.

It is good to have a few days time.
It is good to have a few days time. Though one might be able to see most attractions in a day or two, it feels much nicer to take the time to roam through the atmospheric streets and see where one ends up and what is personally relevant at the time. It might be nice to visit the town market in the early morning hours; skip a breakfast in one's hotel and instead have breakfast in a coffee shop and sit between the locals; walk in non touristy areas and take time to make contact with sellers, like the wonderful owner of the religious gift shop 'Thomas', close to St. Spiridon church.
Take time for a siesta in the hottest hours of the day and start refreshed for an afternoon excursion to one of the recommended attractions, followed by a splendid dinner in one of the many restaurants in the narrow alleys of the town, accompanied by the songs of swallows.
We certainly come back, as there are still many things to discover and town and people deserve your interest and appreciation.
Lovely architecture, clean streets, classy cafes and restaurants. Fairly noisy, but seemed to switch off at midnight which was great. Massive choice and variety of cuisine. Modern, efficient local and island-wide buses. English spoken everywhere, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Highlight - Apothiki for mezzes and fabulous local folk music at the weekend.

So much to see and do and so little time to see it all:
So much to see and do and so little time to see it all:
Churches, beaches, ancient sites, museums, The old fortress, the new fortress, watersports, bars, restaurants, coffee houses etc
One can catch ferries to Italy, Kefalonia etc. Scenery is great if it's not raining.
Dining out I would recommend The Tratamento, Filellinon 3,7 Corfu Old Town +30 26610 33267. It is about equidistant between Venetian Well and the Orthodox Cathedral
A popular trip is from Corfu to Saranda in Albania ( an up and coming holiday destination), Similar sites of historical or natural interest.

Beautiful harbour areas between the two fortresses and along...
Beautiful harbour areas between the two fortresses and along the coastal promenade area to the windmill. Lovely squares, parks and attractive Italian-style architecture in the quaint and bustling streets of the old town. A vibrant and interesting town with numerous restaurants, bars and traditional, touristy and modern shops. Great place to explore in is own right and as a centre to tour the island, with good bus services.
The apartment's location was absolutely perfect! It was right at the centre of Corfu Town with all the shops, cafés and restaurants available, but it was also not directly on the main street with great insulation with the balcony window so we would not be disturbed by the noise.
Despite never meeting the host, he was very responsive to my messages through Booking.com advising restaurants, cafés, bars and anything I needed.
It's also walking distance (15-20min) to the main Bus Station to travel around the Island.
We ordered this hotel as cheap all inclusive holiday - from this point of view it was fantastic choice. Hotel is smaller and older, rooms are small and some things are not in the best conditions - like broken showerhead or squeeky bed, but everthing was clean and the stuff were always pleasant and helpfull. Meals (all inclusive) were in good standart. Twice a week there were greek or mexico cuisine dinners. Sundbeds around the pool were always available and path to the beach took 5 minutes.
Corfu Palace Hotel is a fabulous hotel, with a lot of "Golden Age era" charm. Its location, with breathtaking views on the coast and old harbour, just a few steps away from the historic centre couldn't have been better. The staff were extremely courteous and professional - and the pool bar in particular served excellent drinks! The pool area is quite spacious, pleasant and well-kept (we even met their pet turtle), and the salt-water pool is quite large, so it never felt too crowded.
The apartment has great location, literally right in center of old town, meanwhile located on a quite street. Staff was super friendly and helpful, did their best to provide the best holiday experience. Apartment itself is very cozy, super soft bed and pillows:) ac located very well, so it’s chilling the room without direct blow towards bed. It also has nice balcony and view on a square where street musicians played every evening.
I strongly recommend Bella Venezia for many reasons such as that the room was renovated and very clean, the location was very good, in the city center, the breakfast included almost everything etc. However, the best feature of the hotel is its personel as their service was exemplary. I have been in many hotels (5 stars etc.) but didn't get such friendly, polite and professional service as in Bella Venezia.
Perfect location, easy to find, quiet street, near the best tourist attractions (e.g. old fortress, shopping streets). Staff is so welcoming and nice. Hotel ir small, only 5 rooms. Very private. Beautiful room- simple but with style. Clean. Delicious breakfast- we appreciated homemade cakes, good coffee and the greek omlet they made after our request. We felt the greek hospitality. Recommend.
Host Elsa was amazing and couldn't be more helpful. The apartment was perfect - super comfy beds & great living space even had Netflix and coffee machine. Location also amazing, just a few steps away from one of the main streets in the old town meant it was nice and quiet with easy access to all the best streets. Will definitely be back to stay again we absolutely loved our stay here!
Excellent apartment!! Feels like at home!
The host is very polite and responsive!
I found the place as described, fully equipped, comfortable and clean!
The best thing about this apartment is the location. It is located in the heart of Corfu town and everything you might need, like supermarket, cafeterias, restaurants are in a walking distance!
I would totally recommend this place!
The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal and the airport bus stops close by, and so is easy to access. It is around a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The room was small but clean and the staff were friendly and kindly allowed me to check in an hour early. Good value for money for Corfu Town, where room prices seem quite high.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, very hot shower. Everything in the apartment looked new. There is even a Nespresso machine and milk frother! Perfect for us coffee addicts. This really is a gem in one of the best locations in Corfu Town. Spiros was very reactive when we needed something. We will definitely go back if we need to in the future.
absolutely excellent. Perfect small apartment in a perfect location, a bit far from the noise of the center but still very close to it (20/30 min walk and 5 min by car). Very clean and comfortable and Aris, the owner, is super helpful and nice. We absolutely recommend it for your stay in Corfu town!
The location of the apartment is amazing. Located right in the middle of town and close to all the interesting places. Also very clean and has a lot of space, decorated and comfortable.
The host is the nicest, available and helps with everything. He made as feel at home and we had the best time.
Decent value for money, it's possibly the cheapest large hotel in Corfu town.
It is located close to the port and near a bus stop for buses going north, so a convenient location if you plan to stay in Corfu town but travel around the island or go on boat trips.
Excellent location to explore Corfu Town & Easy access to public transportation
I loved the overall feel of the hotel, it was recently renovated and it is very well maintained.
Good breakfast as well.
The property is amazing, very beautiful yard, and the house is so cozy and nice. Close to Corfu Town and many eating options at walking distance.
Loved it and definitely coming back when in Corfu.
