It is a family business of very friendly and helpful brothers. There is elevator access to the upstairs. Very good value for money. Rooms are ok, beds are clean, towels are changed daily, maybe the carpet should be replaced. In the bathroom there is shower gel in a dispenser. The hotel is well heated. Breakfast is good, it includes local products, olives, spinach pie, cheese pie, soup, sausages, jam, cheese, maybe more vegetables would be needed. The rooms have balconies with table and chairs, the view is beautiful even on rainy or foggy days. The warm welcome of the hosts made us feel excellent.
Located 250 metres from the central square of Metsovo village, Asteri Metsovou offers traditional accommodation with stunning views of Pindos Mountains from their windows or balcony.

Great place, has a vintage vibe and the owner is lovely and welcoming. The room was specious, with a small terrace. The bed was very comfortable. Has a parking lot right under it which was also because there wasn't a lot of parking in the street. Breakfast was also fine. Would stay again!

Metsovo is a picturesque village in the area of Epirus. There are many recreational activities you can do there especially hiking, skiing and mountain related stuff. Don’t miss to visit the Averof art gallery with rare paintings from famous Greek artists. Also, as it’s one hour drive to Meteora don’t miss the chance to visit this unique place.

Metsovo is a small village in the mountains used as a skii resort during winter. It reminds me of an Austrian ski resort with wooden framed buildings and colourful plants outside and cobblestone pathways. Very romantic and picturesque. There are hikes and mountain biking trails and day trips to go see. One night was not long enough. The area is renowned for its locally made cheeses and wine, and meat. Also famous for its wooden artifoand homemade textiles

Picturesque village, everything withing walking distance.
Picturesque village, everything withing walking distance.
Ideal for families, offering a new playground, huge running and playing areas between the trees and next to the mountain view (Averofeios Kipos and the outdoor space of the central church)- however not stroller friendly as the streets are traditionally stone paved.
Withing ~1 hour drive you will find lakes, waterfalls, mountains, walking paths and other traditional villages.
The food, pies, cheeses, wine, tsipouro of Metsovo are a must try! And the prices are fair.
Believe it or not, this “meat” eating village is great for vegetarians as well, you’ll find many delicious and traditional options!
The clean air of Metsovo will refresh you!
So much intact nature though means that you ll also get mosquitoes (in spring and summer) so come prepaired.

Metsovo is a busy tourist resort with a great selection of tavernas and pretty buildings to enjoy. Parking can be difficult so try to book a hotel with parking. Very steep roads so difficult for those who are unsteady on their feet.

I was travelling from Tzoumerka and
Zagoria and followed people’s advised to visit Metsovo village and stay around overnight to explore the area when visiting Meteora. I found the village extremely touristy with not much to offer. It is larger than the typical beautiful villages we have visited along our route without character or appeal. If I was planning my trip again, I would stay the night in Tzoumerka or anywhere else and skip the village all together.

Ideal for those who love mountain air, Alpine conditions, unspoilt forests and outdoors sports ans activities. There's a skiing piste just outside Metsovo and miles of mountains, valleys and local fauna and flora where you can forget about city life and daily stresses.
Although very touristy in certain occasions, this unique village keeps a charm of bygone days, a distinct identity, foods and still the disappearing Aromanian or Vlach language which is steeped in History. Local pastas, dishes and cheeses are amazing and distinct.
This might be the best place I've stayed in Greece so far, I can't even describe how blown away I was by our super-friendly host. Her recommendations were top notch. The loft itself is unbelievable cozy, offering a beautiful view over the mountains and Anilio, the nearby village. Within walking distance to everything you need, including a local market (Fridays, as far as I can tell). Tons of places to hike, I went on Ursa Trail with the regret of not having more time to explore. Beds were perfect, I slept like a rock.
The young woman who welcomed us couldn't have been more helpful about parking ( outside or below hotel), where to find natural spring water, recommending a local restaurant etc... We were encouraged to upgrade to a room with a mountain view balcony which was well worth it. A beautiful view! We had use of a communal fridge. The bed was my most comfy in Greece so far!! Very clean & nicely decorated All good value for money.
Very nice family hotel in the wonderful town of Metsovo. Cozy and clean. Wonderful views from the balcony towards the gorgeous mountains. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The own parking of the property was very useful. The hotel is allocated almost in the center which is an advantage, because you have all the restaurants and shops very close without the driving issues that exist in the upper or lower parts of the town.
The view is spectacular! Before booking we browsed through a lot of properties in the Metsovo square but they do not offer a view! the view here is breathtaking!
Overall George the host was very helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay special. The apartment is very spacious, clean and organize with everything you will need.
There is also a small terrace outside to sip your coffee and gaze at the view.
Beautiful boutique hotel in charming Metsovo. We would have enjoyed staying even longer! The view of the mountains from the balcony was fantastic and the room looked and felt luxurious. The property is located at the end of the street, away from the center of downtown, so it is nice and quiet. The lobby offers a beautiful spot to enjoy a glass of wine. The owners even lit the center fireplace for us to enjoy.
Everything! The staff was very friendly and polite and service around the hotel was absolutely great too. Our room was very nice with the view to Metsovo. The beds were excellent too. Once we ordered burgers from the room service and they were so delicious (with local smoked cheese). The breakfast was one of the best we have ever seen before, so great variety of products. Highly recommended!
A very beautiful traditional hotel, close to the town square. It's on a slope, not on the square itself. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We were there in the late spring, but it looks like a wonderful place for a winter getaway. There is a fireplace in the sitting area close to the bar. The dining room has a beautiful wooden ceiling and lovely tables and upholstered chairs .
The photos don't do justice with this hotel , the experience is so much better, you entering a different era, you fill yourself like in an old family house, everything is so authentic and unique, one of our best experiences, the houstes are very friendly and helpful, the room is very clean, the location is in the center of Metsuvo, recommend to visit there
We found a sparkling clean room, comfy beds, great view. It is our second year making a stop at this hotel on our way to the islands as we were extremely satisfied last year also. The staff were friendly, helped us with our late check in and gave us a little house made treat in the morning. The parking was very secure. Thank you again!
The hotel was everything you could possibly want in a great hotel. Peaceful clean friendly comfort.Host was amazing with help in exploring this beautiful area. Amazing spa and massage to end an awesome stay. Would highly recommend staying here. Handy to town and restaurants. Wanted to stay longer but next time.
Perfect location, right in the center, in a beautiful old building. The hotel in a traditional style, everything you need, atmospheric fireplaces. Very nice and professional service, good breakfast. I've been to Metsovo several times, but this is my favorite hotel. I will definitely come back.
Very friendly host with perfect English. Family hotel. Elevator and underground garage available. Rich breakfast served with special "Metsovo pancakes" (feta in it) - must try 🙂 Taverns with local cheese and food all over the place. Great playground for kids near by.
Beautiful view over the village, host was very helpful , especially with the parking. The hotel has a small elevator which is quite useful when going up from the parking. Excellent location for transit - 1 night. No noise from the clock in the central market :)
We have some trouble with the narrow streets of the Metsovo, but the fellas from the hotel help us. In the hotel, everything was perfect, and I can honestly recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Metsovo.
The owners were amazing, so welcoming and warm. Gave us great recommendations, gave us local specialties to try. The hotel also had a lot of local character which is exactly what we hoped for.
The hotel is beautiful and surprisingly comfortable. I didn’t expect it would be so nice and cozy. In addition, the owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
Excellent place with a lot of relaxing facilities.
Excellent breakfast ,mostly homemade.
Great view and right at the centre of Metsovo
