It's the second time me and my sister have stayed and we will keep coming back! Kostas and his father Tasos are extremely helpful and friendly, and the studio was cleaned in some way everyday. It's also really well placed to explore the whole island- we walked everywhere but it's easy to hire a car/moped. Views from the terrace are beautiful!
Featuring a balcony with sea views, a garden and a terrace, Avali luxury houses can be found in Gaios, close to Gianas Beach and 700 metres from Plakes Beach.

The location, virtually on the sea front. The quality off the furnishings, very tasteful and modern. Everything worked fine. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. Good space to park car.

The main island town with a great waterfront and lanes. It has two fishmongers, bakeries, butchers and supermarkets. Plenty of bars and restaurants. A very pleasant place to be at for a couple of weeks. We walked a lot whilst there and recommend other visitors to do the same.

Gaios is not the traditional "chora" you meet in other Greek islands. There are no proper roads and enough parking. It is like they are not prepared for tourism over there. The authorities there must really provide safer, wider roads and better parking. The center of Gaios has a private parking with rates that don't even exist in the center of Athens (3 euros/hour). If you are not a tourist owning a big boat you are not really welcome there.
Also it is extremely expensive for unknown reasons. Dining is poor overall, the restaurants are of medium quality and unreasonably expensive. In example, a family of four would need at least 120 euros per meal.

Extremely beautiful town! It is a treat for your eyes!
Extremely beautiful town! It is a treat for your eyes! You will see building of nice old architecture next to a beautiful sea with the most clear waters you have ever seen and then the green of trees that reach almost the shore!
Lot's of nice places for food (do try breakfast at "Kalimera" and dinner at "Mambo"), drinks (awesome scenery at "Porto Vecchio") and the best ice-cream ever at "Il-Capricio"!

I didn't go to Gaios many times so my opinion cannot be very reliable but from the few times I did, I didn't like it very much. I prefer Loggos more.
Regarding restaurants we just had souvlaki in Gaios ( George's corner I think was good enough for it). We prefered to go to other villages for dinner or lunch.

Perfect spot, stay near the town so you do not need transport. There are lots of excellent bars and restaurants around both in the square and alleys but best overlooking the harbour people watching. A day trip to Antipaxos is recommended. Reminded us of what Corfu was like 30 years ago, very friendly and we will be going back sooner rather than later.

We had 3 full days and 2 nights.
We had 3 full days and 2 nights. I wuold recommend another 1-2 days. We should have spent more time in Logos. Its a beautiful tiny local harbour with excellent food and beach approx 5 min walk from the harbour. Village of Lakka is only a 15min drive/ taxi or bus. We should have spent another day there. Note that we found no beaches with sunloungers, so be prepared to sit on ground. There is a new port and an old port, walking distance between the two aong the water. Dont walk the road like we did. And Gaios Port is great for eating / drinking and shopping. Only 5 taxis on the island. The Taxi stop is the same as the Bus stop in Gaios. Take a card from one of the taxi drivers and make your arrangements with him to drop off and pick up over the course of your visit. We found Nikos to be very reliable.
We were blown away by how amazing our accomodation was. The setting is perfect, just a very short walk to the center of Gaios. The view from the balcony blew us away, it's absolutely stunning from sunrise tho sunset.
Kostas and his staff are wonderful, we were picked up and dropped back to the ferry free of charge, which we really appreciated. The maids came daily and even did our washing. We have completely fallen in love with Paxos and Bougainvillea and will definitely be back!
We had the best stay at Alia.
From the minimal yet chic decor of the apartment to the treats we were given from the hosts(welcome fruits, nuts, waters, wine, local treats, coffee) the comfort, thorough cleanliness and genuine care, we will definitely go back if we find ourselves again in Paxos!
Excellent location in the center of Gaios with restaurants, bars and beaches just a short walk or drive away. Thank you Christina and Dionisis for taking such great care of us...
Just left villa Avgerini, I cried when I left. The apartments are spacious, very clean and have everything you need. Absolutely amazing view. Gorgeous pool. A easy 10min walk into Gaios. The grounds are immaculate. The owner Eva is just wonderful. So helpful and kind, I couldn't ask for more. 10/10. Paxos is a stunning island. The people are so friendly. I can honestly say this was one of my best holidays. Highly recommend Villa Avgerini and Paxos.
It was great. Location was only five minutes away walking to the center. House was very clean, new and well organized. Konstantinos is a great host. He took us from the ferry and drived to a beatiful beach. You can ask to him everything about paxos, he is super supportive. And view was great. If you are planning to travel to Paxos, 2Nisi is a great home for you.
This was a fully equipped house located in Gaios, 5' walking distance from the beautiful port with its own parking spot. It was very clean, very spacious. Ioanna, our lovely hostess, was very helpful and gave us the right tips for the island (places to visit, eat and swim). Given the price, it doesn't get any better than that. 10/10.
Very cute room, with beautifully renovated bathroom and pretty patio spaces. The room also is equipped with everything and provides even parasols, diving googles and cooling bag which you always need in Paxos beaches. The property is minutes away from everything. Anthoula and her husband are very polite and super helpful!
Excelent location is right in the heart of Gaios, but also in a quiet area. Spacious house, perfect for two couples as it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lots of facilities such as fully equipped and beautiful kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer. Nice sea view from the balcony.
Kostas and his family were so kind and made us feel very at home - even offering to pick us up from the ferry port when we arrived on Paxos. It's such a beautiful place and sharing with only two other rooms made it feel very exclusive when using the facilities such as the pool and BBQ.
Great apartment with two double bedrooms in the heart of Gaios with views up and down the harbour. Excellent communication and reliable! friendly host with a wealth of knowledge and advice for your stay in Paxos.
Well equipped and spacious kitchen.
excellent air conditioning.
The location, is excellent, in busy Gaious, it is a two bedroom apartment, right in the centre. Irene from All About Paxos, was excellent, very friendly and helpful, in planning, our 4 day stay. The apartment, was also serviced, every day.
The apartment was clean, confortable, in a very convinient location and had a wonderful balcony view. Stelios is very friendly and gave us a quick intro and helpful tips for our jurney in Paxos. Definitively will came back again.
Pavlos was excepcional! a great option to sleep in Paxos. In the center but at the same time a very quite place to enjoy the island! When I return to Paxos I'll come back to Pavlos.
The apartment was amazing!
From the moment we arrived as weary travelers, we were treated kindly with exceptional service. The room was a great size, we had a beautiful view of the sea and of Gaios, and the breakfast was nice.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Really nice patio overlooking the water. About a 25-30 min walk to the center of Gaios. Shuttle available from the ferry port to the hotel for a reasonable fee.
Yannis was so helpful, picked up from ferry, brought us water. lots of info about Paxos. cottage and studio lovely, location great , pool quiet and clean. def recommend .
Very good location; quiet, but central. The apartment has everything one could need, and is still affordable compared to other properties on Paxos. Great, friendly host!
