Stunning hotel in the perfect location. Rooms are modern and spacious. I had a room with a balcony facing the harbor which was a real treat. Breakfast was pleasant and served inside or outside overlooking the harbor.

The hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. Old world charm, with a heavenly view over the sea. The staff were so kind. Best all was Zoe, the concierge - who went above and beyond to help us.

Lovely family hotel in great location close to the port & beaches. Rooms spacious and clean with option to go onto the sea view roof terrace. Christianna was exceptionally helpful and kind. Breakfast was really good; freshly squeezed Orange juice, omelette to order, fresh pastries, delicious home made jams, yoghurt & fresh figs. Hotel also provided us with beach towels when we needed and picked us up from the port.

Fantastic, excellent, amazing, and exceeded my expectations.
Fantastic, excellent, amazing, and exceeded my expectations. Visiting again for sure, can't wait to experience it once more. I didn't have inclusive breakfast, but knowing the hotel, I'm sure it would be good. There are so many bars and restaurants that cater to all needs, cheap and cheerful, middle-of-the-range, or high-end. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent and extremely central, a gem, charming, right in the heart of the island. The staff were very helpful, who went over and beyond, plus always cheerful. Happy to learn your needs and point you in the right direction. The owner: family-run hotel, who rescued an architecturally beautiful and run-down building and has been gradually renovating the hotel during wintertime. The guests don't see or hear any of the renovation works, they are behind the scenes, but they do gradually go on not seen or heard. The old lift in the hotel has a little of a modern sparkle about it, but it is delightful and has a lovely musical tinkle when in the lift, a must-experience. Most of the hotel rooms have sea views, but if you don't have a sea view, don't be alarmed, you will have a lovely spacious clean room with a view and perhaps and balcony, but if not whatever room you get: large or small, it is clean, comfortable and perfect for a beach holiday! After all it is an island and for what you are paying for a large or small room, balcony or not, you’re still getting an en-suite and great value for money; on a beach holiday, you’re out all the time enjoying the sea and sun and local cuisines, not sitting in the hotel room! It really is value for money and more! It has a lift, and the building has character. My room was very comfortable. If you are looking to save costs and want an all exclusive, book the room and you will find all types of catering needs across the island: cheap-middle range-high end.

Beautiful island with lots of flowers.
Beautiful island with lots of flowers. Relatively little traffic. Bring your walking shoes and some water shoes for the pebble beaches. Ask for recommendations about where to eat and make reservations if you go in high season. Definitely take a round the island boat trip - that was the best thing we did. We chose Lefteris Tsanas https://www.facebook.com/p/Spetses-Fishing-trips-and-traditional-boat-tours-100069392708838/. The cost was very reasonable and he is a knowledgeable and personable tour guide and local fisherman who supports sustainable fishing practices for the entire island. He brought along Greek mezes for our trip which were homemade and included octopus he had caught himself...it was magical!

Our favourite places was new port and old port.
Our favourite places was new port and old port. It was easy to walk around the center, but for beaches you have to go with motorbike or bicycle. I was impressed with the hospitality of the locals and their willingness to help. Also we ate at patralis fish tavern and Agios in the center the food was great. The beaches were good in a stunning location, the disadvantage was that they have small stones, not sand.

Hotel Kastro is in a deal location for walking about Spetses town. Lots of cafes and eateries. Our favourite was PATRALIS, definitely! Freshly prepared dishes to cater for all tastes. Plus service and hospitality at KASTRO HOTEL exceeded expectations! Their breakfast had a huge variety and was enjoyed thoroughly sitting next to pool and shady trees! Loved it! Thanking Christian’s and Svet and the team for going above and beyond.

Not crowded and not very touristy.
Not crowded and not very touristy. Mostly Greeks on holiday and locals.
Nice shops cafes, tavernas etc.restaurant in the old port were great. We loved Patralis in the other direction it had wonderful seafood. Except when we went to the beaches we walked everywhere.
Transport is taxi, bus, horse and cart or you can hire bikes or mopeds. Keep the number of your hotel handy so if the bus is full on your way home from the beach they can send you a taxi.
People were all very nice. Would visit again
Even if I am Greek, I need to stress out the high level of hospitality of the owners and the staff. The suite had everything you can ask. All balconies had a view of the sea and the classically built Spetses houses. We really loved the style of the room. Do not forget to try the amygdalota Spetson made by the family coffee place located on the ground floor of the hotel. Also, I need to mention that the hotel is in the perfect location - on the main port where all the sightseeing and food tasting a few minutes away.
Kastro Hotel exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful building with large comfortable rooms. All facilities were close to the room. The room and all the facilities were very clean at all times. All the staff were very helpful and polite at all times. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked. Kastro Hotel is very well situated close to some beaches and a very short walk to the main part of town. The hotel is a family run hotel and it has an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness.
What an absolute treat to stay at this lovely hotel! Everything was so wonderful from the location, the room, the breakfast and the exceptional owners and staff. I wished our stay was longer and it was so hard to leave. Spetses is a beautiful island full of flowers and very good restaurants, bars and shops. A boat trip around the island is a MUST as some of the inaccessible beaches are so beautiful. This feels like an unspoiled and authentically Greek island with so much charm.
This was the perfect place to stay in Spetses. A cozy, beautiful getaway tucked away in the hillside just minutes from the city center. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming and made us feel immediately at home. The rooms were super comfortable, we slept great! And the breakfast was incredible: a full spread of homemade cakes, quiche, and pies... fresh fruit and yogurt, cereals, amazing coffee! It was like something out of a magazine. We will be back!
The location is great, not too close , not too far from Dapia port. Also, next to popular "Kaiki" beach. We used the boat taxis for our transfers, because it was too hot during our stay in Spetses.
The hotel has a fantastic view! Our rooms were located in ground floor, but were renovated and were very clean and fully equiped. Breakfast was good too, our kids enjoyed the pancakes so much! The beach bar service was fast and polite.
It was post season so no breakfast was available. But there were some nice cafes a 5 minute walk from the hotel. And a lovely retauarant-Patralis-for lunch or dinner. The room was simple but clean, comfortable and quiet.
We rented a 3 wheel electric cart and drove all over the island- great way to see the sights, pine forests and aquamarine beaches. Pack a picnic lunch and stop at a beach for a while! Great views on the ride!
My short stay at Alexandris Hotel made my little excursion to Spetses even easier and relaxing. Eleftheria was the most welcome host. A greek welcome, warm and accommodating, the hotel is central well insulated, bright and secure. Also a library to borrow a book for the beach if, like me, you'd run out. Highly recommend. Thank you Eleftheria and team.
In the words of my friend ‘I couldn’t ask for a better hotel’.
The hotel grounds and rooms are really quaint. The photos don’t do it justice! The pool area is beautiful and peaceful and the breakfast was just amazing. Full spread with even a dessert (really loved the chocolate fudge brownie cake!).
Would 100% stay here again if in Spetses.
Super comfortable boho style - spacious clean relaxing rooms with lovely complimentary mini bar amenities - hotel pool (not heated) - balconies with views - excellent and friendly and helpful staff - very good location close to the ferry port (5 minutes walking distance).
Our stay at Bays Hotel was a highlight whilst in Greece. Staff were friendly and super helpful with scooter rental. Coffee and breakfast was great and the pool was a nice treat. great location and great view for the balcony rooms.
I’ve been visiting Spetses for over 15 years and this time at Yayaki was the best experience I ever had. Great location, great hotel, very comfortable and excellent staff. Such a great place, will definitely be going back again
beautiful property in a perfect location. room was spotless clean and refreshed daily. breakfast was delicious and varied. staff were attentive and very friendly. will always stay here on trips to Spetses.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and well-located just a short walk from the public beach in Spetses town. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. My stay couldn't have gone better. Highly recommended!
wonderful breakfast , refill every day , a big variety. The location was perfect and the staff very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend it and stay again when i visit Spetses
Great location and central to everything. New hotel so everything is still shiny. Comfortable bed. Staff were lovely. When I come back to Spetses I would stay again
I highly recommend this property! Beautiful space and amazing location! The host was also super helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
