The spa is exceptional. Water is warm and relaxing. It is a great experience to swim outside on -1 degrees. This period of year is probably good because it was not crowded just right. Also sauna world was great. There are a few nice restaurants around the spa.

Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged.
Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged. Also know as the Onion city, hence the onion is a main symbol you can find in many buildings and monuments design. The main reason to go there is Mako Hagymatikum Furdo or just Mako spa complex. With its unique architecture and great indoor and outdoor pools and thermal spas, saunas and facilities, it is a great place to relax and recharge, or just spend time with friends and family in a tranquil and stress free environment. Locals are very friendly, kind and welcoming. Mako is perfect for a weekend get away.

Had a fantastic terrace with fly nets to keep the insects out and had a great yard which was perfect for our dogs as they could run around without us worrying about them escaping. Staff were lovely and left some Hungarian beers in the fridge for us :) Apartment had everything one would need. Great shower and comfy bed.

Free parking place in front of the house. 5 minutes walk to Hagymatikum. In my opinion, probably one of the best accommodation in Mako.
