I loved my hotel and the walk at Ayla! The food at Ali’s Central Restaurant was excellent too.
I visited the bazar / souq, and I don’t recommend that as it was so busy and nothing really there except cheap Chinese products
Leaving Aqaba and dealing with customs was a nightmare!

Aqaba is a wonderful city & port with a wonderful sea, beaches, weather, shops, hotels, restaurants, museums etc... People are very hospitable and friendly. Great landscape, palms, mountains, city tours and boat tours available all the time, this is apart from all the other water activities you can enjoy. You will also find a variety of shops with different items and reasonable prices. I strongly recommend to visit Aqaba at least once. Yet, if you have visited it once, you will visit again and again.
We were just there and are already planning for our next trip soon.
Definitely, we will visit again....

Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea.
Aqaba is a friendly safe city by the Red Sea. It is the perfect location to go swimming, visit Petra and Wadi Rum or even visit the neighbouring countries by car or boat. The sea water is warm and the coral reefs are stunning. There are many restaurants and the city is very lively, especially in the evening. It is perfectly safe to walk around, everybody is very welcoming and friendly and it´s a great place for a relaxing vacation but where you can add several exciting day trips. I loved Aqaba and it has become one of my favourite places in the world.

Aqaba is a charming destination with pristine beaches, rich history, and vibrant marine life. Beyond its natural beauty, the city delights with delicious local cuisine, welcoming people, and affordable dining options. From flavorful coffee to historic landmarks, Aqaba offers a delightful and budget-friendly travel experience."
I had booked the first two nights through tour company I was travelling with. I was staying on an extra two nights and booked myself a better room - balcony with sea view. I wanted same room throughout and was prepared to pay for upgrade if necessary but a very helpful Mohammed at reception arranged for me to have same sea view room throughout for no extra charge. Was very happy with this and was a great room with fantastic sunset view. There's free wifi in the whole Tala bay area and you can use the sister hotels by the beach.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms modern with lots of natural light. We had asked to move rooms as our initial room was much smaller than expected and the lady on reception was so lovely, she gave us 2 other rooms to look at and pick from and was able to move. The breakfast was also quite nice and the location is about 15minutes walk to the main part of Aqaba. We really enjoyed outlr stay and a good first impression of Jordan. The beds were also comfortable and lots of free parking outside
Great hotel and great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are a selection of eateries beside the hotel which are really good, Juliana in particular do great food. Everything is in walking distance. The hotel does a top notch breakfast too! I've stayed in Tala Bay, which is nice but you don't get to experience the true vibes of aqaba unless you're staying in the heart of the city. Such a safe and friendly atmosphere in Aqaba with stunning views everywhere you look.
We came to this hotel after a week or so of intensive sightseeing throughout Jordan. The best decision we made! It's not a big resort, which actually was very nice. Staff is great, 24/7 roomservice and nice food, and everything is very clean. A big plus here is the coral reef right in front of the hotel, perfect for snorkeling and swimming, as well as the pools and private beach. It really is a great place for relaxing! We would definitely come here again if in Aqaba.
The location is 5 minutes from Tala Bay with a private secured entrance, perfect for a relaxing getaway where luxury meets comfort and affordable rates for the rooms in comparison to other hotels in the area. The location is a natural reserve for under water sea life and corals which makes the snorkeling experience or diving absolutely breathtaking. Non over populated, almost an undiscovered gem. The color of the water was multiple colors of blue and green and clear.
The room was comfortable, and I loved that it had heat and AC both working. Even some 5* hotels big-name in Jordan only have heat and turn it on too high so it’s too hot. Therefore, we actually found this place more comfortable than that. I also thought it was wonderful that they have rooms with multiple beds for families for the price. All toiletries are provided. The restaurant was convenient as we got in late and didn’t have to leave for dinner.
This was definitely the most incredible stay i have had anywhere. The staff were so kind and went above and beyond for us. The housekeeping made our room better everyday with fun towel folding, and the pool was so big and fun to swim in. As two single girls, we felt safe and comfortable swimming and walking around in shorts(which i never do anywhere in Jordan). And the breakfast was great, the Movenpick yougurt was just amazing.
One of the best hotels I stayed at in Jordan. Location was excellent, with an amazing view towards the Red Sea and Eilat. The room was really nice and had everything we needed. The staff was super friendly, especially Abdullah who helped us with a lot of useful info like where to go to the beach or where to eat the best food. If you come by car, you can park it directly in front of the hotel.
I really recommend this hotel. :)
Great hotel and very friendly hosts. The location is right in the city center, which is very convenient. There is a public beach 10-15 min walk, but the hotel also provides a shuttle to the Berenice beach in Tala Bay - the shuttle is free, but the access to this beach was about 10-15 JOD.
The breakfast is good, it is provided in another hotel (1 min walk). The overall experience in this hotel was good.
The property is located close to the beach. Corals and fish can be seen even without swimming. The rooms are ordinary 3-bed hotel rooms. There is Wi-Fi, but it works only close to the reception. They have a restaurant but we decided to go to the restaurant on the beach where grilled fish was exceptional. Breakfast is okay. They rent snorkeling equipment which can be used close to the hotel.
This is 4 star Jordan hotel, not European. However facilities are ok, rooms are rather clean, windows outside are not. Roof top is ok, but again old furniters, and really small pool with cold water. Generally nice hotel, a bit of walk from center, with nice view, good breakfest, variety of drinks and food from menu also. There is a place to park a car under the hotel.
The hotel has several rooms and the owner take care of them personally. He was very friendly and welcoming and flexible about our needs.
The room was very clean, one of the best we had during our trip through Jordan!
Air conditioning and ventilation was very appreciated given Aqaba crazy hot weather.
A good value for money and totally recommended for your stay!
This is a luxury hotel without the snootiness of other hotels in the area. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is right on the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Anna was especially helpful. They have a nice happy hour in the martini bar and live entertainment each night. Bring closed toed shoes for men.
Great location right next to beach and close to the main shopping areas. The beds are very comfortable with ready availability of warm water. There hotel staff are very helpful and assisted with the luggage, booking cabs etc. The sea facing rooms are just awesome to sit and watch Red Sea.
Fantastically attentive and helpful staff, everyone went above and behind to make my stay and further travels in Jordan wonderful. The location is right on the beach, and very close to the main restaurant area of the city as well. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Super hotel. Nice staff and especially the wonderful owner who always helped us and was very helpful. Beautiful clean rooms. There is a dining room on the 7th floor, where you can have a hookah and watch the panoramas of Jordan. I warmly recommend❤️
The hotel was amazing! Very clean, great location and good service.
One thing about our booking experience, we booked half board and when we arrived we discovered it wasn’t half board, Booking has issues! Bad experience with Booking app!!
I like the staff of the hotel. They are all very nice and cool. From the pick-up driver until the staff are all awesome. They accomodate my visitor friends in the room so I get to meet all my friends in Jordan. The room is huge and clean.
Hotel room was similar to 5 star very spacious apartment for price of 1 room and staff was very helpful
And they let us keep our luggage into store after checkout
