We just loved the beach. We also visited other areas like the USS Alabama and Fort Morgan. We enjoyed the beach as it was not super crowded, we spent an entire day on the beach and was able to rent an umbrella and chairs for the entire day (great price). We did want to fish, but were a bit confused as to where to do that. We thought the pier but it was closed. We also have a service dog and the beach stated no dogs (we do understand why) but then we got to the beach and see people walking their dogs? The beach is soft and white and just fun to play in as well. The water was chilly but it was early march. We did get in though...because its the beach! Lifeguards were on duty most of the days as it was quite windy and seas were really choppy a couple of days. We flew our kite, built sandcastles, looked for seashells. Took night walks on the beach. We found great places to eat. Ralph and Kakoos over by the USS Alabama, Acme Oyster company (chargrilled oysters are a must), and the Gulf shore Steamer.....OMGOODNESS BEST restaurant!!! We had a seafood platter for 4 (there were 2 of us) and yes we ate it all, crablegs, shrimp, oysters, muscles, corn, potatoes, appetizer of crab cakes. oh and some alcholic drinks...yessss! and topped it off with keylime pie! This was a great rip!

Plenty of dining and shopping locations, and great beaches.
Plenty of dining and shopping locations, and great beaches. Too many great dining places to name, we tried a different restaurant almost every day and all were great and reasonable priced. Getting around Gulf Shores was very easy walking, driving, or biking.

Beautiful home, awesome views of the beach, sand, and sunsets even though construction was going on. No doubt, wish they would have already been moved out, but we still got to enjoy ourselves. Plan to stay there in the future.

This is the perfect stay for us.
This is the perfect stay for us. I was so scared that it was too good to be true. But was amazed when we got there. We had everything we needed-full kitchen with everything needed within. We also had a washer&dryer. We had to do a little cleaning when we got there but I do that anywhere we go. The views were amazing. We will definitely be going back.

The couch and chairs were very dirty.
The couch and chairs were very dirty. Surprised at how dirty they were. Only one key provided for access to the beach. There were 6 people with us. Only a twin sheet provided for the full size couch. The front bedroom next to outside hall stayed like daylight all night because the light from the hall shined through the window to the hall. no darkening shade. no Washclothes, no kitchen sponge or towel. Way overpriced for condition of the condo and accommodations. The only thing we really liked was that the beach was not far to condo. Very close.
The hotel charged us through internet $345, comparable to a high end resort for 3 days each. when we arrived there it was immediately obvious the this was no 'resort' but a motel. The hotel immediately reduced our one day price to <$140, and we only stayed one night despite reserving for 3 nights, and both of their elevators were out of order! We checked out next day and stayed at Island House Double Tree Resort Hotel on the beach for $350 per night. I believe they were dishonest in promoting themselves like a 4 star hotel!
The location is secure. There is a parking fee that is required for all guest. The parking fee is determined by the number of night per your visit. There is a great restaurant on the ground within walking distance of your condo. There are several pools as well as hot tubs and volley ball courts with grills on the property grounds as well. The beach is definitely in walking distance about 50 steps from your door. It was the Best! Shopping and attractions are only 25mins away by car on the island
This may not be the swankiest condo on the beach, but it is the closest condo to the beach I've ever stayed in. This condo was clean and the rooms were nice. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the waves and saw dolphins almost every day. It was the perfect week and we cannot thank the owners enough. Lots of good memories made! We will definitely stay here again if and when we make it back to Gulf Shores.
The only thing I could say that I did like about this property I know now if we choose to come back or tell anyone else that we know coming.. don't bother spending all this money at this property, get a place across the street and just walk on through Best Western on the beach and you can party however late and loud you want.
The location, away from other hotels, and adjacent to beautiful beach, sea and state park (with beautiful lake, trails, and bird life).
The pool.
Having bunk beds in room.
The coffee and pool bar, both service provided and quality of the food.
The "eco" features of the building and hotel.
I enjoyed my stay. Room was clean, plenty space. Pool was clean. Gave plenty towels. Went to beach plenty of sand lol workers let us use vacuum to clean the room. 5 minutes from everything important😊 I’ll always book this hotel when coming to gulf shores..
Hotel staff was professional resourceful, and my room was comfortable very clean
This hotel is minutes away from The Gulf Shores Beach. I definitely recommend this hotel it was reasonable for my price point.
The location was amazing. We were, literally, right across the road from the beach. For the price, it cannot be beat. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and the view of the Gulf was a great bonus.
Loved the Hotel in general! Beautiful all around! Beachfront is the best, and having the pier in walking distance topped it off! My husband and daughter love to fish so that was a plus!
Great location, room was very clean. All the little amenities you needed for your stay, i.e. shampoo, soap, hairdryer, iron, mini fridge, etc. Nice pool. Hotel right on the beach!
Location was perfect! Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean hotel. This was our second stay within the last 7 years. I always choose this hotel when vacationing in Gulf Shores.
good location, liked the pool though they could turn on the lights around the pool so you can see, room was nice size. they are pet friendly with no pet fees
