Great places to visit - hike to Hollywood sign, helicopter ride over the city, Laguna Beach, Venice beach, Santa Monica Pier. Not so great - expensive! Busy during rush hours, big city to get around so need a car. Difficult to find healthy food options as few and far between. Prepare to queue!

What a great deal that is. . no fee just a request order two things (drink or food). Check out Flappers in Burbank. It was dirty, crowded, the people were rude, and sadly the city needs to do more to address its homelessness crisis. The staff was extremely helpful, and flexible on check-out times. I appreciated that there were several people at the reception desk at all times, which made it feel safe. My room was quiet and the bed comfy. It is a great value in the center of LA, would recommend.

Finally through the rooftop area with seating and drinks for sundown is a real seller. I could not have been happier with my stay in LA.
