Fort Pierce gets a bad rap! It has some really great restaurants beautiful beaches, and free parking! There are great venues for entertainment and really cute little shops offering either antiques, clothing, or unusual unique gifts. I really enjoyed it.

Love the beaches, the Jetty for walks and fishing and downtown Ft Pierce for great restaurants and local shops. Low key, relaxing vibe especially on Hutchinson Island. Already booked my return trip in the spring!!

Our check in was rocky as the two ladies at the desk were dismissive…I reserved two room and wanted to pay separately and both ladies insisted that we couldn’t but they weren’t user friendly in declining our request. Had the facility not been so nice, we would have declined our stay. The staff that next morning was great and so was the breakfast! I would definitely stay again.

I was born and raised in Florida, so I'm not really a tourist. I went to Fort Pierce mostly to see the new US Navy UDT and Navy Seal Museum on the North side of the inlet. Great Museum in my opinion and well worth seeing. An added plus was the museum is located adjacent to a nice beach access only minutes from the large free parking lot. There are clean restrooms and shower facilities which are also free. There are also gazebos tables for picnics and shade. NOTE: The beach pictures I posted were from Golden Beach which is located a few miles North of the beach I reviewed located near the museum. There were Lifeguards but very few people. :) The "staked off area" in one photo marked where sea turtle nests had been located.
Nothing motel room that I was in last night at the Motel 6 in Fort Pierce Florida in room 138 I tried to call the front desk several times off of my phone because the phone in the room did not work at all. There was roaches and bugs. There was pee all around the toilet. It was nasty and the people in the room next to me in room 137 had music blasting all night couldn’t get anybody on the phone at the front desk. There is not answer, and when I did walk up there, the person was half asleep.
Liked the fact it was not carpet in the room. Much cleaner. In fact, room was cleaner and beds where also much better than the ones at Quality Inn I stayed some days before. It has all I needed. Refigerator, microwave, laundry, and a simple but nice breakfast. No warm food.
In fact the room was a nice surprise to me as the general aspect of the hotel is very simple but the room is very nice. Refrigerator is a duplex and two very good queen bed.
Night receptionist was very kind.
Lady at reception was very friendly. Breakfast was sufficient with various options, waffles, cereal, eggs, etc.
Room and bathroom were clean and beds were comfortable. We were on vacation in Kissimmee and traveling to & from Fort Lauderdale in one day. Staying overnight in Fort Pierce and at this hotel was the right decision.
We stopped at Fort Pierce on our way to Fort Lauderdale to embark on a cruise. Decided to stay there and then enjoy a ocean side ride to FL. This location worked perfectly and the morning breakfast was very good. We will surely stay here again on our next FL cruise.
The private small beach and pier were great! The room had excellent amenities - big fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker. The room was very clean. A small supermarket and some other shops were within walking distance.
NO A/C in the room, it was broken. for the 1st night. They moved me to another room the next day and said they would comp me the second night. I will never go to this hotel ever again.
