We would return to Miami Beach in the winter, we visited in May and it was too hot for us. We liked not having a car and using the free trolley and buses for Miami Beach. We ate in several restaurants near by the Monte Carlo within a few blocks and were impressed by all the cuisine and the quality in the area. We went to South Beach a few times and enjoyed restaurants there as well. We like the markets near by and enjoyed walking in the evenings on the board walk once it was cooler. We live in South Beach and love it.
We live in South Beach and love it. A great place to walk around and experience the various cultures and International visitors. Great variety of restaurants, with a few fast food chain restaurants mixed in. I would highly recommend walking or using a ride share company to get around. Traffic can become difficult. If you only have a day or two, I would highly recommend a visit to Mango's Tropical Cafe South Beach for a drink or a meal. The shows are fantastic. Visitors should exercise good judgement on Holiday weekends as the night becomes early morning.

Amazing place to visit. The marina area is gorgeous especially around sunset time. I’m a beach lover and I love Miami sunny beaches. Apart from the beautiful sandy and turquoise beaches the city is very vibrant and there is a lot to see and do. I would say it’s a must visit a place.

The beach and water were lovely. I wouldn't bother paying extra for a lounger or umbrella. However, Crest Hotels offers complimentary loungers (although you can't see the ocean). South beach offers a lot of eateries. Use the public transport - it's cheap (or free) and convenient.Bosman
