Comfortable hotel. Clean and with all the basics that you need. Rooms are super spacious. It is well located for when I travel for business and near Cambridge Street with a lot of restaurants and services. It’s well located to access the city center from there too.
I will definitively stay here again!

Friendly and flexible staff except in the Japanese Steakhouse where they were cold. The hotel staff promptly moved me from a room in the pot-smelling 14th floor to a smoke-free top floor when I complained about the smell. Good location.

Stayed in Cambridge to attend a graduation at Boston University. We were just close enough for it to be a very short drive, but did not have to immediately deal with school traffic. There were many stores and restaurants nearby, with good access to major roads to simplify travel.

Cambridge is beautiful, a fascinating place, but we were running around for several work events and didn't see much. VERY congested, so we relied on Lyfts to get around. But, so much to see, packed with beautiful historic architecture. Lots of trendy food places (often a little strange).

Cambridge is an easy, safe and picturesque place to walk around. The streets are clean, the parks are beautifully maintained and there is stunning historic architecture, as well as quaint shops and eateries everywhere. We particularly enjoyed seeing the beautiful Memorial Hall. It's a pity visitors can't look inside, into the Annenberg Hall dining area, but we appreciate that the Harvard students may not like an audience whilst eating : ). The Harvard University of Natural History is fantastic and the Glass Flowers exhibit is a must-see! Being a rower, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful Weld Boathouse and Newell Boathouse and watching crews row up and down the Charles River. If you love books, The COOP bookstore is well worth a visit and if you enjoy ice-cream, I would highly recommend getting a Taiyaki (Japanese ice-cream) from Taiyaki NYC in Church Street. The ramen at Boston Ramen at 24 Holyoke Street was delicious and I would highly recommend grabbing a waffle and coffee from the food truck parked in the Harvard Science Center Plaza. If you're going into Boston, I would highly recommend the Boston Tea Party Ships and museum experience (an excellent interactive, re enactment experience), having a ride on the beautiful Greenway Carousel and walking through the Boston Common, seeing the 'Make way for ducks' statue and, for the 'Cheers' tv series fans, visiting the Cheers bar.

Comfy room, clean and modern with friendly staff.
Comfy room, clean and modern with friendly staff. Booked in advance, was quoted $186 tax included. But, at check-in I was notified that it cost $25 per day, per parking spot and a $75 fee that would be returned (5 to 7 days) after checkout. Plus they wanted $20 per person for breakfast. Total: $326 for 2 people for one night. Nice place, but won't spend that to stay there again.

It's in a good location for Cambridge, and even not far from Boston amenities. It is NOT right near Harvard campus, though, if that's what you're looking for ... but not far.
The facility is fine - an inn, not a hotel, but with room amenities of a hotel.

If you walk to Harvard, you can enjoy watching red leaves on the way.
As Harvard square is a walking distance, shopping, sightseeing and joining conference are very convenient. You can enjoy Continental and sophisticated atmosphere because the University of Harvard is very near.
Location is about the only plus being near Harvard Yard and with parking. Otherwise this is an old Cambridge house which has not seen much remodeling. There were no other rooms with private bath on my floor(2). The room was "basic" with very few electric outlets for charging computer and phone. shower was basic and the room was clean enough but "old" and slightly dingy. Okay for a one night stay but no great value for the room rate. I would rather pay more and have a comfortable, up to date facility.
I loved this hotel especially because of its location so near Harvard University, and the bounteous coffee machine choices in the lobby. The staff was very kind and even helped me switch rooms at one point because of a phone issue, and they were always very friendly. They also provided me with some refrigerator space for some leftovers that I had from one night of dining. Great place to spend a couple of nights.
The hotel itself was quite nice, but the best thing about our stay was the young man working at the front desk. Sorry, but I’m very bad with names, but maybe his name was Noah. Anyway, he greeted us with such energy and kindness that we immediately shrugged off our travel-weary attitudes, such was his infectious congeniality. He really made our night. Please tell him that if possible.

This hotel is exceptional in every way. I love staying in historic places and the old firehouse is perfect. The decor is tasteful and detailed. The entire place is spotless. Every corner is cozy and comfy. It’s in an excellent location to access Boston and Cambridge. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This was my second stay and I will definitely be returning for more. Lovely all around.
Excellent location near many great restaurants and pubs and the train. It looks newly renovated so is super clean and very comfortable. Valet parking is a little expensive but we found a cheap ‘spot hero’ parking space nearby. There are also parking meters outside the hotel that were easy to find - at least when we stayed (mid-August) where you can park for free from 8pm until 8am.
Honestly, the location was fantastic. We were a 15-minute walk into Boston or Cambridge and the neighborhood surrounding had cute cafes, convenience stores, etc. Etc. Also it was very clean! Plus the property management company was prompt with getting us the info we needed and very clear. Great experience for our group of friends!
A charming, little hotel in a Victorian house. It’s very quiet and close to Harvard square. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Friendly staff, especially the lady. No breakfast, but there was tea and coffee, and a kitchen in the basement for making your own meal. Would absolutely come back. Good value.
Very friendly staff at reception upon arrival. Good advice regarding where to eat (Mikes in Davis Sq - 15 min walk from hotel). Clean room - exceptionally comfy bed and pillows. Whilst we were there there was a problem on the tube into Boston. The reception ordered a taxi for us which was there within 10 mins.
The hotel is not at all value for money. No room cleaning service. the bed has strong weird smell. The light in the room was not functioning well. Very far away from bus station. Noise from nearby construction site every morning. Would never stay in this hotel again and won’t recommend to anyone
Everything! The room was nice and clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The location is also good, it’s close to the metro stop and near by there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Iris is a great host, I will totally come back here if I pass by Boston/Cambridge again.
The location is unbeatable for exploring Cambridge and the area around Harvard. The breakfast at Henrietta's Table is excellent, though pricey. We ate outside each morning, and we also had one dinner there which was a lovely evening. The hotel has a car park which was convenient.
A very good place. Clean, pleasant, and quiet. A great convenience is the all-day access to coffee and tea, as well as cookies. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied. Very close to the center of Cambridge. About 20 minutes by subway to downtown Boston.
It was all very modern, super clean and in the best way functional. Porter Sq is a great square to start exploring Cambridge and Boston. But my personal favorite is Davis Sq in Somerville, just a 15 min walk away, or one T stop.
Staff is exceptionally friendly. We had a few special requests and the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate them. The location is also right next to a red line stop which is very convenient.
I have stayed in several hotels while doing research at Harvard. This location for its value is the best so far. I found the facility very well appointed. I will return there undoubtedly.
The location is the best if you are about to work on Harvard for a few days. It is also a great and safe neighbourhood. The supermarket (Farm) in front of the hotel is quite good.
