We had a fair experience, for one night, in a room with jacuzzi, which was nice. Both the gentleman and the lady at the front desk were very kind and always willing to help.

IT IS A REMOTE AREA. I SATISFIED MY CURIOSITY ABOUT THIS CITY AND CONFIRMED WHAT PEOPLE SAY, WHAT THE MEDIA, AND PUBLICATIONS SAY. TO RATE AS A VERY POOR AND ABANDONED CITY, BEING IN THE POOREST STATE OF THE UNION.

There is nothing absolutely nothing in Jackson Mississippi to see except for a lot of abandon homes and the side streets are like a disaster zone.. however, the people are friendly but you definitely can expect tension in; people on both sides being racist.

They did not have a reservation for us, but charged my credit card for $44.01. The manager was talking to some people who were renting a room on a full time basis.
I tried to give him the confirmation number and he informed me again that he did not have a reservation for us and to leave.
If I had read the reviews on this nasty place, I certainly would not have given it a second look.
I believe I deserve a refund since he would not even talk to me or try to look up the confirmation number.
Please reply.

The people are extremely friendly, West Jackson was a little rough looking and the roads are in need of repair. Not somewhere I'd stay if visiting again. Maybe in the center of town or downtown area would be more ecstatically appeasing. overall, it is worth a visit or second visit.
The lady at the front desk was very nice, to bad she didn't have a team on the same page. I was robbed I never once heard any employees apologize. They was quick to tell me they watched the camera but they never apologized and kinda made it seem to me as if they was the victim . The hotel have no security and the doors stay open all night. Most of the time front desk is in a room or some where they can't be found. I stay locked out of my room two hours in the am of the night. Indians run this place and they are very rude
Hotel practically opens on to the Civil Rights Museum. Free parking, quiet. Hotel has been well refurbished and we had a lovely large room on top floor. In some ways we felt we were on our own - great and helpful man at checkin but then we only saw someone in morning at breakfast. May be busier during work week. Easy access to restaurants by car although one recommendation was a short walk, we just opted for other places. I recommend this property for a Jackson visit.
We were traveling for military orders, from Las Vegas to Fort Walton Beach, FL... so we were just passing through. The hotel was beautiful, clean, well kept and the staff was friendly. The in room dining was fair priced and great quality. I appreciate the comfort during my long road trip. Would love to return someday! Thanks
Great room. Big and comfortable. Even had a kitchenette area. Very quiet. In close proximity to most Jackson areas right off I-55. Easy to get to and check in process easy. Friendly staff and exceptional breakfast. Will continue to stay here for future visits to Jackson.
A lovely hotel for a stop over close to the Highway between Memphis and New Orleans. Pool was open. Room was very nice and bed very comfortable. Good to have a gym. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good with a selection of foods.
property very nice,
staff is EXCEPTIONAL, from housekeeping to maintenance to front desk to the restaurant crew, bartender Octavius knocked it out of the park<3
definitely will come back if when in Jackson next.
Thank you
Reasonable rates, hotel was clean and the area felt safe. The dayshift workers were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the lady working in the breakfast area took pride in her work and was very friendly.
Terrible hotel, had to walk outside of build a ways to get to lobby for assistants , gym , breakfast etc . Only nice thing about the entire experience was that it had a nice comfy bed .
needs to be updated! i stay at a lot of Hampton inn hotels and this one needs renovation. Over priced for how this one looked. Could have stayed at Westin, this location looked cheap.
Breakfast was great my family and I enjoyed the eggs and sausage along with the hot coffee and toast everything about this hotel was above and beyond perfect
