Been staying at this location for a long time, close to downtown area with lots of local restaurants near by as well. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, good space for bathroom and shower area. Have to say both Troy and Gina were very welcoming and helpful with my stay there. Great size breakfast area with lots of seating but yet casual, out of the way of lobby traffic with a large TV to catch morning news. Still get a free paper!!

Big clean rooms. I am particular about the bathroom and it passed my standards 👍 It was great value for money. Close to the airport. Lots of parking space as we had a rental car during our stay. Staff were helpful and professional

It is a beautiful old mansion and something different from a regular chain hotel. Staff were incredible - helpful and courteous. The breakfast was delicious. We were a 10 minute drive from downtown and would recommend. The hotel has recently been purchased and we learned about the history and while there are some small things that look a bit tired, there was no impact on our wonderful stay - I would definitely stay again!

Rooms were really nice. The lady at the restaurant (Becky) was beyond phenomenal! She was so amazing with customer service. She was very accommodating to my friends and I despite the chef being busy with a murder mystery night. She honestly could not do enough to help. She deserves an employee of the month award.

Buffalo is definitely a formerly prosperous city with amazing old architecture and parks. We were there in mid-April so the weather was on the verge of Spring but still chilly. It had some quality museums and it was fun driving around the old industrial areas which they are trying to clean up and take advantage of the ols structures. The food scene is probably okay at night but they are still suffering from the pandemic as far as the lunch/brunch scene, at least as far as we could find. Water was all around as it is on Lake Erie and I know the summer it is probably busy with sailing and boating, etc. We were just too early. There were numerous empty marinas waiting for summer.

Buffalo is rich in history and architecture.
Buffalo is rich in history and architecture. The eating places downtown rival any that I have dined in all over the world. The reason for my visit was twofold. My friend and I spent a day at the Albright Knox Art museum. Like the cuisine, the gallery rivals many that I have visited. It was not so large though, that you could not do it justice in one day.
The shopping on day two at Walden Galleria gave us such delight! It was full of bargains.
Buffalo has something for everyone.

Do not miss the Frank Lloyd Wright house or the AKG (Albright Know Gallery art museum) or, of course, Niagara Falls. Walk around...beautiful neighborhoods of well kept large old homes and funky shops everywhere. Appealing shops, excellent restaurants, and affordable!

Buffalo has so much to offer.
Buffalo has so much to offer. From the waterfront with great restaurants, boat charters, and kayaking and canoeing, to the beautiful architecture and interesting museums, the whole city feels alive with wonder and intrigue. It has a little bit of everything - if you want to feel small amidst skyscrapers and disappear into the crowd at a show, downtown is your spot. If you want to escape to the country for a stroll through the woods or gallop across sprawling fields, head to East Aurora or Newfane. There is shopping everywhere - great unique boutiques with special one-of-a-kind treasures, high-end department stores with all the new stuff, restaurants with five-star offerings from around the world. Buffalo is definitely a world-class destination with hometown charm. Diverse and alive with life and opportunity, this All America City is definitely one to visit if you're looking for a special place.

We visited the Buffalo Zoo, which is the third oldest zoo in the country. It was under renovation but it was nice, small compared to other zoos I've been to. I loved that it was in an old neighborhood and easy to access. Lots of places to shop and great wings, pizza and craft beers. Of course if you are close to Buffalo you have to pop over to Niagara Falls which is always beautiful to see and a short 30 minute drive.

The location was great.
The location was great. Took us no longer than 20+ minutes to get anywhere. Lots of walkable restaurants. However, the beds were not queen size, they were maybe twin or double. Also the pool and hot tub areas were down when we went to use them. I'm not a fan of having to pay $15 a night just to park my car. Shouldn't that be part of the stay? $220 to stay in a room with small beds and no pool/hot tub and then more money to park. Nah, not right. We went to the Bills stadium. Casinos, put put, Niagara falls and wax museum.
This is an opulent, luxurious, Vegas-esque fever dream of a hotel. Rooms and building were top of the line nice. The bathroom is everything I could ever want. The bed is mega comfy and we were both burritoed into the comforter so snugly, it was hard to get up in the morning. I never saw another guest even though the parking lot was full. It was strangely vacant inside. I feel like it opened somewhat recently and hope the quality stays high, because we will definitely be back when we're in Buffalo.
I was in town to celebrate St. Joseph's Day, a traditional Sicilian holiday. It seemed appropriate to stay in a hotel that embraced Italian culture. My room was large, as was the king size bed, and it came with a large jacuzzi bath (which I did not use). I was given a coupon for the hotel cafe, and I enjoyed a nice cappuccino and yogurt parfait for free. The young man at the front desk was helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was convenient to the airport, restaurants, and the highway.
We loved the hotel! Cool relaxed vibe with fabulous historic blown up photos of Buffalo throughout the hotel. Really appreciated the small gallery dedicated to the architectural history of the building. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
The breakfast consisted of an assortment of pastries - some very good, and some not so much (the 'croissants' were inedible). The coffee was very good. Appreciated the free parking just outside the front entrance.
We stayed for just a night. The property is in downtown Buffalo, very closer to hotels and bars. There is a TGIF on the premises. The staff at the front desk when we checked in - she was very friendly and really helpful, pointing out parking, food etc. The room was large - a largish living room and a separate bedroom. The hotel is a bit dated, but clean. There was a decent breakfast spread.
Location would be great for the University and Museums. Far from downtown, and a bit hard to find the first time. But the place was incredible! Very interesting building. Friendly staff. Rooms aren't as tiny as in pictures. Nice bathroom. Fascinating building. We enjoyed the bar. Quite pricey, but cocktails were very good and the place was fun.
The location is primo, close to my kid's favorite food stop (Buffalo's iconic Anchor Bar). My wife and daughter love the shuttle to nearby shopping and restaurants. I liked the bed and the microwave in the room, which some places are moving away from. My family all agree that we should stay here when we visit Buffalo.
Everyone enjoyed their stay. The place was exactly as advertised, excellent value and close proximity to downtown. A very easy commute for the Sabres game, House was clean, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would recommend to others, and stay again.
Thank you, Chuck.
A hotel with a lot of character and very centrally located. The king room/suite was very large, had a separate living area, two TVs, a large sofa and beautiful views. We could walk everywhere around downtown to get food or see the sights.
Hotel and staff were awesome. Easy walk to the hockey arena. And the hotel restaurant and staff were excellent...and the food there was the best. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in buffalo. A1 service and accommodations
they gave me a huge room, very comfortable.
Hotel has a good location to visit buffalo but even to go visit Niagara falls.
Decent condition of the hotel, mayby some renovation is required
Breakfast included in fee
Perfect location to explore a very charming and fun area of Buffalo. Great bars and shops nearby. The dream of the 90s is def still alive and the vintage details in the room were a bonus.
The hotel was in a good location, around a 10 minute drive from the centre of Buffalo. The room was comfy and very clean. It also has lots of amenities which was great.
Nice and tidy hostel with friends and a fully equipped kitchen in the center of Buffalo. Bus stops to the airport and Niagara Falls within a couple of minutes walk.
