We loved the Cardinal Inn and would stay again. Online check-in was a breeze and the rooms were clean and welcoming when we arrived. They have a beautiful gathering area outside with a fire pit and lots of comfortable seating.

The location is perfect for visiting so many great sights in the area such as the Great Smoky Mountains, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and Grandfather Mountain. Pop’s Diner and Pop’s Butts on The Creek were great places to eat!

Been here many times.
Been here many times. I enjoy each stay and wish I could stay longer. Many stores are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (why I have no idea). THE place to go for breakfast is Country Vittles. Excellent to go. Have never been there for lunch because I was so full from breakfast.
Cherokee Nation is only about a half hour away, Franklin Ruby City Museum about an hour, Thermal City Gold Mine about an hour away

We stayed off season so it was quiet.
We stayed off season so it was quiet. Some places were not open. We went out of town to eat. But it was a small cute town that I would recommend to stay if you want to stay away from all the other stuff around the Great Smoky mountain it was a farther drive but if you have the time to do it I would recommend staying in Maggie valley. I enjoyed our putt-putt golf.

I absolutely love Maggie Valley.
I absolutely love Maggie Valley. This was my 4th trip this year. Great laid back town. If you enjoy small town vibes, then this is a great place to visit. Country Vittles has a great breakfast menu and Maggie Valley Restaurant has great food also.

Loved everything about our trip-from the amazing cottage to the unbelievable elk viewing. The local restaurants were perfect. Loved the privacy and yet the closeness to everything. Will definitely come back very soon!
first and foremost the lovely lady at the front desk greeted us so warmly, and when we told her we were there to snowboard she immediately said to just let her know if we needed a later check out to accommodate the hours we were going snowboarding the following day!
the room was quaint and cozy, perfect for our one night adventure! the other guest were very respectful and quiet as well
the creek behind the room was lovely!
we can not wait to go back to Maggie Valley and we will definitely be staying at the Stoney Creek Motel every time
We love Maggie valley. Have been visiting there for years. Kinda got a lot of business that closed or cut hours a few years back. Some new owners have moved in and things are looking better.
R-19 looked like a fun place from the pictures. This statement sums up our experience: wasn't what we expected...glad we booked but will not go back.
Out of all the hotels on the strip, this one had the best curb appeal when we were driving there. Once we pulled up we were very happy to see how well it was maintained. Close to everything on the strip and the micro-brewery next door was a bonus too. Would stay there again in a minute. Thank you!
Wonderful 3 floor cabin with a small separate cabin by a lovely creek. Very close to all of Maggie Valley. Easy to relax by the fire pit and enjoy the sound of the creek. House is appointed with many things you'll find useful for a longer stay. My family enjoyed our stay!
Quaint old style motel in Maggie Valley. Staff were friendly during checkin and addressed all my questions. The room was surprisingly large (larger than luxury hotels) with two very comfortable swivel chairs. The rest was neat and on point for the price.
Staff was very friendly, location was the best, very quiet, room was ready when we arrived, quick check in. If you want to step back into the 50s Route 19 inn is the place to stay in Maggie Valley. Route 19 inn is not far from downtown
Cute little house, quite location, beautiful area. Nice visitors next to us. Close to restaurants. Ilove the yurts. May stay in yurt next time. Are they pet friendly? The pond and grassy area was good, we had our Chihuahua. He liked it
I liked everything in the house, perfect for family, couple, it has everything to make it very practical. The house is well heated, well located, it is wonderful. I say they need to rent and spend a few days in Maggie Valley.
The view was amazing! House was beautiful and very clean with really nice attention to detail in making the house ready for guests! Definitely on the top of the list for our next trip back to Maggie Valley!
Rooms are big and well furnished. Love the grounds near the creek. Good food and atmosphere at Valley Tavern. It was our second stay within the last few months. Our favorite place to stay in Maggie Valley.
The room was clean and spacious and the view from the deck was wonderful. Loved listening to the babbling brook. The hotel was centrally located in the middle of Maggie Valley. We would stay here again.
The hotel is located across the street from Joey's Pancake House. Very convenient for breakfast! The decks and walkways on the creek were great! We'll definitely be staying there again!
Friendly staff. Not handicap accessible. No easy chair in room. Toilet seat too low. Room was dark and dreary. Didn’t stay the nights reserved. Found another hotel.
