Breakfast: The breakfast was quite celebrated in previous reviews, we thought it was alright. Definitely challenging to find food if someone was vegan. But the staff was very friendly and helpful!
Hotel surroundings: The garden area is beautiful and the little animal area is nicely done. The playground is great, but as there is no shade, it was impossible to use it during day time once it got hot.
There is a lot to do in the area around the hotel (you'll definitely need a car!) and for those there to learn about the Amish it is lovely to see them passing by all the time in their buggys right by the hotel.
This hotel is located in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Amish country. It is just a mile from Dutch Wonderland Amusement park and serves a deluxe continental breakfast every morning.

The room was fairly big and fit 2 adults and one child comfortably. Also parking is convenient because any spot was close to the building. If you had a lot to unload you wouldn't have to go far.
We love it tgere. Had a girls weekend planned… left home to go to Kroziar’s Christmas Village in Ronks, PA. We had a great start of our trip snd head to check in at the LaQuinta hotek for the first time. I remembered when it was built.. honestly we always stayed at the Amish View Inn & Suites.. but they were booked 12/8-10, and In glad they were… we now have a new favorite for many reasons.

The peaceful beautiful farm land across the street to see the sun come up is gorgeous. I loved not hearing anything or anybody from my caboose. It is SOOOooo quiet. I didn't have to worry about making any noise and disturbing anyone or being disturbed by anyone else. Very clean too. As soon as I opened the door and saw the bible laying OPEN on the table I KNEW THIS WAS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR ME! I have told all my family and friends about it already. Cannot wait to come back for a much longer stay...maybe forever! lol!

The entire area is interesting.
The entire area is interesting. We also visited Lititz and enjoyed that as well. Sight and Sound was our main objective, but shopping and sightseeing were a part too. Was disappointed in the Rockvale stores. Many are closed or out of business. the Tangent area was much better. In Litiz , we went to a pretzel tour and Wilbur's candies. We could have explored more but were limited on time. The scenery in the area is wonderful.

We were there for the quilt show and fabric shopping, so we already had knowledge of the area. Had we been new to the area, there was no 'tourist' information available at the rental to encourage us to explore the area, make us want to stay again or stay longer. Lack of bedside lighting made reading in bed impossible.
Cute place. All the staff are above friendly & just plain nice people! The rooms are small & quaint. Always very clean & have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The all day/ night coffee in the lobby was used & appreciated. They are under construction after a fire in the restaurant but they still had a nice breakfast in the main hotel. I would recommend this hotel. The area is very beautiful.
Some wear and tear in the rooms (one of our bed spreads had an iron burn on it and shower curtain ripped) and overall hotel is bit dated...but a comfortable enough stay. Front desk friendly and helpful with sharing information of nearby attractions. Good options for breakfast (lots of cereals, fruit, coffee, juices, boiled eggs, toast). Would stay there again if passing through Lancaster/Ronks area.
Excellent value. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Good location. Quiet area, but not far from restaurants and shopping. Room is larger than normal and has a bathtub instead of just shower. If you are looking for good accommodation at reasonable price, this is best overall I've had in Lancaster and I visit Lancaster a minimum of 3 times a year.
Awesome location. Close to family friendly spots like the Strasburg rail.road, dutch wonderland , amish farms and outlet shops. Breakfast takes the cake. So many selections and we are still drooling over the french toast. Our 4 year old loved the play area and the animals that she could feed
The house was wonderfully arranged, and obviously recently remodeled. It served us very well, providing a quiet, clean, and private setting that certainly was an upgrade over a hotel room. It was close to everything we were looking for, and had a nice backyard.
The cabooses were unique. It was nice to have a different option from usual hotel stays. The property was very relaxing and convenient to everything. Casey Jones Resturant the food and service was excellent. The portions were large.
Overall nice experience.
I mean honestly it wasn't bad for the price. But if you have any bougie in you or are picky about hotel cleanliness and overall quality it may not be the place for you LOL. I will say the girl at the front desk was very friendly and polite
Breakfast choices were wonderful! It also looked like they painted the halls and rooms! Nice upgrades and I am glad there are no more carpets on the room. Being pet friendly helps tremendously!
They don't have breakfast, but the hotel says including, when I asked front desk, He said coffee and juice is breakfast, what a cheater! I like the location, close to everything.
The staff was very professional, courteous and helpful in answering our questions. The hotel is very clean as well as the rooms. I would recommend The this Hotel.
