We had a wonderful couple of nights in this quirky place in the most fabulous location. The owners welcomed us on arrival and made sure we were happy with everything. Their guidance on where to eat and what to do was invaluable.
The rooms were finished to a very hight standard. We wish them every success. They deserve it.

We were only there two evenings, but were unhappy with both restaurants that we chose for dinner. They were identified as the best or better ones in town. However, we did not enjoy it. We really would’ve enjoyed some good seafood. Decision to stay there was only to see high Ridge in the Olympics and it was fantastic.

Although we were only there for 1 night as we moved on to Vancouver Island the following day, Port Angeles seemed to have the quaintness of a small town, but with plenty of facilities. Obviously the proximity to Olympic NP & ferry services are the main plusses.

Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas...
Port Angeles is centrally located to all the natural areas you would like to visit. Many places are closed at the beginning of the week. Cruise ship comes in and that makes restaurants really busy at dinner time. Plan ahead if you want to eat somewhere nice. Kokopelli Grill was nice and food was good but getting a seat took awhile. Some people couldn’t be seated. Try to get the shuttle that goes to Hurricane Ridge then you can go anytime. If you are a car, you’ll have to get up there early.

Stayed in Port Angeles because it was so close to Hurricane Ridge in the national Park. Had dinner at Joshua's restaurant next to the Super 8. The pictures hanging on the walls of the restaurant are good enough to be in an art gallery--very impressed!

I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat.
I'm weird because I love clouds and rain, and I hate heat. P.A.has my ideal climate.
The town is just the right mix of city and suburbs. The houses and neighborhoods are all so cute and wonderful. I am seriously considering moving there.
Best restaurant: New Day Eatery
Best american breakfast: Chestnut Cottage
Was only room available in Port Angeles. While room was fairly clean, SERIOUS need of updates and repairs etc. Cracks in ceiling (possibly some poorly repaired leaks), painted over grafitti in bath room, dresser drawer broken, 'squishy' carpet, etc.. Old bed spread with no blankets available in room. Noisy outside and not a great area of Port Angeles it appeared.
In its class, it is a very good hotel - not fancy, but satisfactory at all levels: the rooms are compact, but nicely decorated and clean. Have all the necessary amenities. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast to go only, but well organized. Electric kettles can be ordered at the reception. Very good wi-fi. Conveniently located close to the Olympic National Park.
I stayed here because I was going home to Victoria. It was a quick drive to the Port Angeles ferry terminal and worth it! It felt very cozy. Everything that you would need for a comfortable stay was there. John checked me in and was very friendly. I would have loved to stay longer to have more time to explore the beautiful area of the Olympic National Park.
Expensive price for a simple hotel. The ocean front view is worth it. Loved hearing the ferry horn and watching boats. Beds were comfy. Basic needs were met with room. Short walking distance to few good restaurants- Songoku Hibachi and Sushi; Smugglers Bar and Grill. Graysons and First Street Haven was a walk but food was delicious!
Very spacious, quick easy check in and out. Friendly, helpful staff. Great stay for a motel. Will need to stay in Port Angeles most weekends next 6 weeks and plan to stay here again because of location in town, and lower cost in an expensive, remote town with very limited summer availability. Mini fridge was nice and cold.
excellent price, the hotel is clean and has a good interior, we arrived late at night and they were waiting for us, after checking out we had nowhere to leave our things and the employees kindly offered us to leave our things in the hotels under guard, this helped us a lot. Great hotel for the money) Thank you!!
Our bell tent, tucked away in a gorgeous forest grove, was wonderful! The space was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The setting was beautiful as well and location was close to all the spots we wanted to visit (Mount storm king, HOH, Port Angeles, etc.)
From the outside, this place looks a little scary. Tiny parking lot, older building, etc, but once you’re in, it was great! Super clean, very friendly staff, perfect place to sleep for the night. Very walkable to the beautiful city of Port Angeles. I would highly recommend. Great value.
The staff was so helpful and kind, the breakfast was good, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into our room and it SMELT GREAT! My sniffer is almost too good and I hate when you walk into a hotel room that smells musty. I would totally stay here again and again!
Nice and clean and with great proximity to the ferry terminal entrance. We liked it so much, stayed here twice! When we come to Port Angeles, we will stay here. The owners are working to make it better so it will be even better when we return!
I felt like the place was very clean, even though it is an older hotel. We had other friends also traveling to Port Angeles, they were disappointed with their hotels, where I followed reviews and hoped this hotel would be just right.
Excellent location, very clean, and comfortable. A great place to stay as a base camp to explore Olympic National Park, while being in short driving distance to good restaurants and shops and stores in Port Angeles.
It is a lovely house, well maintained and with all the amenities you would need, we were a group of 4 and found it extremely comfortable. Will surely book again if we're ever back in port Angeles. Thank you
Room was very clean and the bathroom was quite nice. I could walk over to a gas station in the morning and grab a breakfast sandwich. It was only a short drive to quality restaurants.
Fantastic view of Port Angeles. The room was comfortable for a family of 4. The room was well-equipped with a microwave and mini-fridge. The location was excellent.
