Not a party place, better for couples or family. Plenty of things to do but need to get transport to most. Has 2 good mini marts close by, (but no pavements). One of them sells alcohol. Temple and fire show well worth a visit, book a ticket a few days ahead because often sold out. Watch out for the monkeys, they’re quite aggressive and steal anything, even the glasses off your face and break them! It was second time we stayed in Le grande Bali. Experience was good, excellent customer service, staff well prepared ready to help, friendly and professional. Breakfast is good but could be a bit better. We had this experience the day we left and Putu the person that were at service that morning were like an angel. We checked out on 23/3 at 4:30am and the driver we booked to drive ud to the airport did not show up. The location was excellent for access to the many great restaurants and cafes and staff were extremely welcoming. 3 of the adults staying surfed every day. Bingen is a great spot for the intermediate surfer.

Visitors should be aware of that Uluwatu has no city centre as such as it is widely spread out along the coast. Bingin beach was dirty with lots of plastic waste on the sandy beach. Did not want to go into the water. Great place to eat is Seed - lovely food and you can sit in the garden. Great staff there, highly professional and very kind.AndreaAustria

It was as comfortable as any hotel room but even more spacious, had AC for when the weather got too warm, and was fantastic for a few days of mental unplugging and relaxation. The property overall is very well-maintained and designed, and it was great that amenities like bicycles were available for guest's use. Wayan, the manager, is an excellent host, super hospitable and warm and helpful with any questions or requests. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to Bali!

The staff are so helpful and so friendly and their Balinese cooking is delicious. Relaxing and watching the surf and the sound of the sea is just perfect. Sunset is absolutely gorgeous too. We will come back here for sure when we are back in Uluwatu! Highly recommend this is a must stay!

Location is excellent, for both Bingin beach and to motorbike to Padang Padang and Uluwatu. The road up to it has hip cafes, collectives, gyms, yoga studios, restaurants, and shops. The family who runs it is lovely. I'm definitely going to stay there for at least a couple nights every time I go to Bali. I also like the hammocks.
