Tintagel is a lovely village it has some real quaint shops and the castle beach is well worth a visit although found the entry fee to the castle a bit steep so we didn’t do that the tide was out for a visit to Merlin’s cave but be prepared for steep steps 😂 the pasty shop was lovely too and all the tea shops etc looked amazing happy travels 🥰🥰

Short walk for anywhere in the village, imcling the famous ruins, try the rib-eye steak at The Cornishman, visit St Nectan's Falls and the Camelot Hotel, Bossiney Cove beach is a hidden gem. A great base to explore the area and the North coast of Cornwall.

I am trying to review Fisherman’s cottage-which was great except that it didn’t state anywhere in it that it was a studio flat. It said it had one bedroom but there is no door to separate it from the rest of the cottage so u are essentially sleeping in the same room as a fridge & freezer gurgling all night -and if u have a dog u have to sleep in the same room as it unless u shut it in the bathroom. I just thought that it was important to make this point somewhere as nowhere seemed to let me review the cottage properly- just gave me a set of tick box questions. As I said it is a lovely cottage unless u mind sleeping with ur dog and a fridge and freezer in the same room-which I did! As for Tintagel-been coming here for years and is as lovely as ever!

    Definitely must visit: Tintagel Castle.

Definitely must visit: Tintagel Castle. The views are stunning. It was challenging to find Merlin’s face, but it was fun when we finally found it:). Definitely recommend, don’t leave the place before finding the face on the rocks. The Arthur’s arm pub is a great place to eat. Try the Cream Tea, it’s homemade and absolutely delicious 😋

The coastline is beautiful, and the sound of the wind, ocean and rain created a feeling of tranquility. Prepare for all types of weather in a day and your stay will exceed any expectations. We were able to walk all over Tentagel covering the ruins, Camelot Castle Hotel, beaches, trails, and the biggest surprise was doing a tour of King Arthur's Great Halls. The only thing i would do next time is eat early then do the sunset because no food is served after 21:30, nor were there takeaways avalable. We had to travel t a nearby village to get something.

Great hotel with interesting features and history. Still a family house with strong ties to artists . Great location on top of the cliffs overlooking King Arthurs castle and the ocean. Hotel has a nice cafe/bar and restaurant and the prices for food and drinks were very reasonable and you can sit in the bar overlooking the sea and not feel ripped off by high prices. Also it has car parking and was a short walk from the centre of Tintagel and King Arthurs castle. Staff were helpful and friendly

Booked this hostel last minute as somewhere to stay while exploring Cornwall. Dolphins exceeded our expectations, the place is located in the charming centre of Tintagel which offers a lovely array of pubs, shops near the castle and cave The hostel itself was very clean, warm and cosy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, John paid for us to watch the Anthony Joshua fight in the communal area which made for a great Saturday night Fabulous hostel would recommend and visit again

Exceptional stay - the property was spotlessly clean, newly refurbished, the room had all needed amenities and more (even bathrobe was provided), quality mattress and bedding, gorgeous view of the sea and 19th century castle. Owners of the property were very welcoming, advised on the best route to the hotel and shared taxi contacts. Lovely breakfast, especially the fresh fruit salad. Location is the best for the views and access to Tintagel Castle.

The customer service was excellent. the bed in our room was very unstable the first day we came to stay, the staff instantly acknowledged the situation and placed us into a better room until the bed in our room was completely replaced. The breakfast was included in our visit and was really nice. The hotel is quite close to scenic places like the Merlin’s cave and Tintagel castle. Shops, bakeries, takeaway and fish & chips within a mile radius.

We enjoyed our stay in Copthorne, a cosy and clean bungalow cottage which is located near to the shops, pubs, cafes, bakeries, Tintagel castle and the stunning Cornish coastline. The location of the cottage is quiet and peaceful. It is well - equipped and lovely Maggie, the owner, is only a call away if needed. It is also a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was lovely - fully cooked with lots of choice! Service from the staff was great throughout - they were very attentive and friendly. Parking was very convenient and spacious and we were kindly allowed to leave our car in the car park during the day while we went for a hike to Boscastle. Location is pretty much the most central place you could be in Tintagel for a tourist.

This was a safe and clean space. It is located in the center of town and writhing walking distance to Tintagel Castle. the restaurant provided a bountiful and delicious breakfast. I overheard that the food served in the restaurant were prepared by a French chef. This was some of the best food we have eaten over the entirety of our vacation (3 weeks) in the UK.

The apartment is perfect for a group of up to 6 people. It has everything you need to make it a home from home. The owner also runs the giftshop downstairs so was on hand for any queries. Located on the main street, there's easy access down to Tintagel Castle and lots of options for food and drink. Would definitely come back here again.

The location is breathtaking, quite incomparable. Charming building, though not technically a "castle". Nice restaurant and really amazing bar area overlooking the sea and cliffs. Friendly staff, as well as the owners who were often present and looking after hotel operations.

A great place for a family stay. We played a few games and the tables were ideal. The Netflix & Wifi was great. The clock on the wall was a nice touch as it is not often we have one provided. If we come to Tintagel again we would love to stay here.
