Good place to transit after arriving from the ferry in Picton. Several places to eat as a good sized town. Ate in Bamboo Garden (5 minutes walk) as had been recommended to us by people on the ferry. Food was excellent.

We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February.
We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February. The city itself is not too big but cosy. There are some beautiful parks and gardens. Breathtaking mountains views. Runway cafe on the way to Blenheim airport was quite nice. Food was delicious. Most of the time we spent exploring nearby areas. A lot of good wineries around for degustation and lunch. We travelled to Picton ( 30 min by car). Had a cruise there. Plenty of cafes on the waterfront. Visited the impressive Omaka aviation heritage centre. "Muscles pot" restaurant in Havelock was nice. Would be great if we had at least one more day to visit more places in the Marlborough region.

Opted not to hire car which I would probably change when visiting again although we did manage with walking to city centre and and utilising shuttles to get out to Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. Omaka is an absolute jewell. We were here for Garden Raupara Springs so transport otherwise not an issue for us. We were close to a Countdown and Bamboo Garden Restaurant which was fabulous and we also visited a Japanese Restaurant. Had our wine tasting at the gardens so did not visit winery; we come from West Auckland also a hub of wineries so we were happy with just the tasting at the garden event. The shuttle who took us to Omaka was happy for just a pick up call and then took us to a garden centre for a quick look around. Very obliging! Of course I bought a plant and took it back to Auckland. Thanks for a lovely stay, can't recommend Blenheim enough!

Amazing good.
The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is a world-class museum showcasing WW1 and WW2 aircraft and artefacts
We combine it with a day driving in thewineries and dining at a winery.
Stylish & comfortable two bedroom house with a bathroom & second toilet + large laundry, kitchen/dining & living room. The large garden had ample parking for two cars, a BBQ and plenty of free street parking. The large field at the rear of the garden makes the house setting very peaceful. The house is attractively and thoughtfully furnished, the kitchen is well equipped and there are interesting books to read. We will definitely stay here on future visits to Blenheim.
From start to finish wonderful. Heather was very accommodating as I had a huge hiccup delaying my trip. She’s very communicative and helped with any questions I had. Her home is beautiful and so clean, and the heated toilet was a nice surprising plus during a chilly morning. Also little perrita (her lovely dog) is just a sweetie. Great location close to the town and vineyards and I’d be more than happy to stay again when traveling through Blenheim.
We loved the views from the patio and wall-to-wall windows, but also all the little touches - from the heated floor in the bathroom to the delicious breakfast goodies to the occasional visits from Harley, the dog. The hosts were very welcoming and provided many excellent recommendations that enabled to make the most of our short time in the area. Staying in this vineyard will be one of the top memories from our two weeks in New Zealand.
This is a perfect holiday home to stay in!! We were in Blenheim for a swimming competition and have had enough of Motels!! lol!! Close to all ammenities. Home away from home :) Being able to bring the dog was such an added bonus
:) Will definatley be staying here again if it is available next year at the same time!! Highly reccommend this beautiful Villa if you are planning a stay in Blenheim :)
Fantastic spacious property, with lovely views over the vineyard. No food onsite , but great cafe over the road. 10 vineyards within 5 km of site including Cloudy Bay and Allan Scott. Be in quick though my understanding is the accomodation is being converted to other uses in the middle of this year. Staff (Thomson) were really helpful, place was very tidy, spacious, clean and warm.
This model was overally very good. I have visited Blenheim so many times and stayed many difference places.
But I would say people in this motel were the best. This motel is facing chateau Marlborough and Scenic hotel each other.
Even this is a motel, I would say there are not much difference between hotel and this motel. Room was very clean.
And location is also very nice.
The lodge was well situated with the vineyards close by and the great air museum just down the road. Kim was really helpful with great suggestions of how to get the most out of our visit to Blenheim. Open access to the kitchen in the lodge is really useful and appreciated.
Spectacular apartment. Incredibly well kitted out and stylishly decorated. Plus it was huge and secluded. we had a wonderful stay, cycling to vineyards by day (go to Bikes and Beyond Blenheim to hire e-bikes) and relaxing in the lodge at night. Highly recommended!
The hotel was well located for looking around Blenheim CBD and for our activities at Clubs of Marlborough. The staff were accommodating and friendly, we were allowed an early check-in and they found a frying pan for us to use in the kitchenette we had booked.
Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Blenheim. Very stylish, comfortable property. Walking distance to shops, cafes and bars. Very warm welcome from the owner with lots of local tips for exploring the area. Wish we stayed longer.
The Commodore is a great place to stay prior to a morning flight from Blenheim. We enjoyed the sizable room tucked around the pool so it was very quiet and secluded. Linda was very nice, cordial, and interesting to chat with.
Very modern, clean and spacious apartment. A walk away to the city centre, restaurants and bars. Hotel manager very accommodating regarding getting to a winery that serves food as the information centre was closed.
Good location to town, plenty of off street parking. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Manager was helpful in providing information about the surrounding areas wineries and restaurants. Blenheim is a pretty town.
The hotel and room were perfect. Very swanky old building. My room was thoughtfully furnished and felt plush. I also loved the vault seating area where you can enjoy complimentary port.
Fine for an overnight stay in Blenheim. A well appointed kitchen meant we were able to cook and eat in the room with ease. Great shower pressure and the beds were comfy.
Everything was great... needed accommodation between airport and vineyard for family occasion. Property was found lovely clean and tidy. Better than expected.
Beautiful gardens, our cottage was a converted stable, perfectly appointed. Exceptional views of vineyards, sheep pasture nearby. Eggs from the owner’s farm.
