Building was beautifully done up and restored, very impressive and we loved looking around it all. Loved the railway theme throughout the building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely room, shower great and a great bed.

Great for families with children or beginners in general.
Great for families with children or beginners in general. Lots of offer for beginners and also good for advanced skiers, but beginners have a big separate area that is very safe for first times.
Also, excellent teachers at the Escuela de Esquí Candanchu. They are very good with children.
If you are looking for lively apres-ski, better to stay in Jaca. However, Candanchu is the perfect place to avoid hassle in the morning, right by the slopes, good facilities and fun. You can pop down to Jaca in the evenings if looking for other activities (ice skating, visiting the Citadelle, the cathedral, good restaurants, etc).

Total tranquility. The locals were all real friendly.
Total tranquility. The locals were all real friendly. I’m a peregrino and in Spain almost everywhere pilgrims are treated well but here you felt like you were not passing through but part of the town.
I stayed in this hotel for the second time and it was great and I have to say hotel improved since last time in terms of food. Breakfast this time was really good, not super huge selection, but everything was really good. Certainly more on level of 4 star hotel than 3 star hotel. Same goes for rooms, they were nice, newly renovated and spacious. Its definitely a very good hotel for this price and not to mention location which is only 30m from a ski lift. I will choose this hotel again when I will come back to Candanchu.
Arrived just ahead of some dreadful weather in early September. The position is excellent with great views. Walls are a bit thin but not many others staying when we were so not a problem.
Staff were delightful, especially the man on reception. Food reasonably priced and well presented. The road up to the hotel and then down into France the next day was spectacular driving
We got a very cozy room with astonishing valley views, an excellent breakfast that tasted homemade, and friendly staff. The dinner was great also, would surely recommend it. Unfortunately, the Candanchú Ski Resort was closed in late December due to the lack of snow, but the Astun Ski Resort was partially open and it was just a 3km ride from the hotel.
the size of the room and tea making facilities in the room. breakfast was basic, if you have car it is ok to stay here although it is better to book parking in advance as there are not a lot of places there. there is a ski rent in hotel, if you don't have a car it is 20 min walk to ski area for beginners and bus doesn't go very often.
The rooms we were in have been clean - so overall ok. But in total, the hotel needs some refurbishment as some of the Interieur is pretty “used”, e.g. doors to the balcony were hard to open and close. This hotel has definitely seen better days. Staff was very friendly and we could lock our bicycles in their garage.
Location of the hotel is amazing, 20m from chairlift. Also breakfast was pretty good for 3 star hotel and overall room and hotel looked really good for 3 star and staff was also nice and helpful.
Friendly staff, really, really clean and Covid measures strictly adhered to which reassures some people. The location and views are fantastic and the hotel has real old school ambience and class.
The room was comfortable and a good size. It was very clean and a good temperature. Even though we visited in the summer months this hotel would be excellent for the ski-ing season.
The hotel has a nice feel to it. Nice view of the mountains from the outside deck, dinner and breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable. Parked in front of the hotel.
The location of the hotel in Candanchú is excellent. The accommodations are very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
