I loved my stay at the South Gap Hotel. It exceeded by expectations. Staff in the restaurant and bar were amazing as were the cleaning team and the porter on the door. Room was great, really cosy and quiet and had everything I needed. I was there as a single traveller and felt really comfortable. If I get the chance to go to Barbados again, I will definitely be back.
Thanks to all the team.

It was really easy to explore the island on public transport...
It was really easy to explore the island on public transport from Oistins.
The local beaches were amazing; clean , white sand and turquoise waters. Local people were friendly and helpful.
We stayed over Easter, so lots of things happening during the fish festival at Oistins.
There is little choice on restaurants, outside of the the stalls at the fish fry, so ventured further afield.
All in all, a beautiful island with plenty to see and do, as well as just chilling on the beach.

Christ Church is the place to stay on the South coast. Favourite places: Irie foods on St.Lawrence Gap, Cafe Luna restaurant, Enterprise Beach, Surfers cafe - Oistins (beach view table), Enterprise Beach.
It's easy to get anywhere on the island from Christ Church as the main bus stand is located close to the Police station, Post office, shops & the local fish fry market.
Places to avoid: Marco Polo Restaurant/Bar - Poor service and food.

Everything was exceptionally great especially the host.
Everything was exceptionally great especially the host. The apartment made you felt like you were at home but more relaxed, clean and beautiful. We made our own breakfast and at night we ate in Oistins at the food stalls, We visited the Miami Beach and enjoyed a good bath and meeting other visitors. We had our own transportation but we noticed that transportation was very good. We promised to visit again.

Christ Church is an amazing place to stay.
Christ Church is an amazing place to stay. There are plenty of beaches and places to eat. Getting around is easy, and I used the local buses, which is not for everyone, but the locals do not bat an eye lid to tourists and are only too pleased to help you if required. I would recommend this location to stay or visit.
this hotel is amazing, for an all inclusive, such good a la cartel food choices in various restaurants, amazing cocktails and brand named drinks and the wine was good too. the facilities were fantastic and there was an adults only area which was good. the beach was beautiful and there was always something to keep you occupied. the staff were second to none and did everything to make your stay comfortable. they organised trips and got good deals, recommended local, places to go and were so very friendly. I can’t fault this place at all.
We were in a 2 bedroom apartment, it was truly excellent, in a very good qute area, but not to far from the bars in Oistins, Surfers cafe, the Sage bar & several beaches, was good to see a few monkeys & humming birds right next to the apartment in a wooded area, it's a 600m ish walk down to the coast, which we enjoyed but just mentioning it in case future guests are disabled or have walking difficulties,
Don is the perfect host, everything worked, WiFi, AC TV etc, go on get it booked!!!
last minute booking late in the day due to not getting on a flight… from the off James, Lulu & Liesje were very welcoming and accommodating, really nothing to much trouble. Hotel is close to the airport, on the coast with sea views, pool and on-site restaurant… very peaceful with a friendly atmosphere. When we return to Barbados we will definitely stay again if anything to say hello and for catch up with the team.
We stayed in apartment 1 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious, very clean, with everything we needed. It had a large balcony and we loved having monkeys as an occasional visitor. It was about a 5 minute walk to the Gap where there were numerous bars and restaurants. Iris was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend.
Hotel is in a superb location, beautiful beach across the road. Shops and restaurants in close proximity, able to catch a bus to town and airport not too far away. The room was very clean and room had a little patio for relaxation with a beautiful view. The location also has a great night life which doesn’t affect relax time whilst on the inside.
Fantastic boutique hotel on a quiet end of a gorgeous beach. The restaurant attached is a lovely open-air dining room with tasty selections for breakfast lunch and dinner. Several small swimming pools surround a small bar with a swim up service area. The staff here, in all departments, are very friendly and helpful.
The location is brilliant get your lounger in the morning the enjoy the most beautiful day and view.
Perfect for families with young kids, couples or people looking for a stay in paradise.
Food van outside at 12.30 on week days is wicked if you find the hotel a bit steep.
Loads of nice restaurants around the location,
A first class apartment, spacious, excellent a/c in the bedroom, a little warm in the lounge but a small balcony was excellent to sit outside on. Perfectly safe area and close to the St Lawrence Gap bars and restaurants, plus a short walk to access the bus into Bridgetown.
The view from the room was superb!
Everyone was very helpful, at the hotel, on the street, at the restaurants etc.
The unit was extremely clean and the kitchen had all utensils one may need.
The location was great, easy to get to, and easy to get around.
I required an overnight stay, not a 5* hotel with expensive rates. The Meridian was an excellent choice. Cooking facilities if you wish to prepare food. Good size shower room. Private Balcony. Close to St. Lawrence Gap, if you require restaurants etc.
The hotel is in a great location in St Lawrence Gap. The facilities are well maintained. Room cleaning is efficient and effective. There is a nice pool and a limited beach area. The open air restaurant has a breakfast and lunch menu and the food is good.
Location is conveniently located next to two beaches. It is also walking distance to main part of town which has a lot of restaurants and bars. Staff was very friendly and always very helpful. They were the best part of the stay.
Hotel was good value for money, great location, close to the beach and lots of cool places around it, restaurants etc are just short walking distance. Definitely recommend
The hotel room was clean and spacious. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the room came in handy. The front desk staff was amazing. I love how it was on the beach.
