Nice Small City for a weekend retreat, however if you want to extend the stay, the explore nearby cities, and ample options available to explore from Beautiful City Views with rich history to mountains and snow on the other end. Food is good, and if you try local food made by locals in remote areas of Georgia, i am sure you will remember it for a very long time. If i go again, food in the mountains would be a primary reason.

Tbilisi is a nice city with interesting buildings old and new. Good restaurants with very good local wines. People are friendly and we felt safe. In general is not expensive , good hotels don’t need to be expensive. There’s a good selection of things to see like the monastery and things to do like wine tasting. I recommend you to visit.

Great food and wine options, however the city is quite dirty and there is lots of graffiti. People drive like mad here as well. Worth a visit, but maybe for 5 days at most. If you want to stay longer it would probably be best to rent a car and drive out of the city to explore the rest of the country.

Tbilisi was great and we would come here again.
Tbilisi was great and we would come here again. It has everything that a traveler might want; history, art, parks, food, wine, night life. You should come here during a long weekend to also taste the nightlife properly. 3 days is enough but if you do more days, I recommend day-trip tours to close by destinations like the wineries and mountains. Don't miss the sulfur bath experience.
The hotel is excellent! We picked it for our last day in Georgia because of the view and it turned out to be the best experience in terms of hotels that we’ve had in Georgia! The hotel rooms are very tidy, spacious and have everything you need. The staff is very attentive and responsive! Breakfast was nice and rather diverse. The location is good too, getting to the very city center takes 7-10 min depending on the pace. Getting to the hotel requires going uphill a bit. Overall, extremely good! Highly recommend.
Hotel is located in a quiet area, 20 mins to old town on foot or 4 mins by Bolt car. We stayed in two rooms with balconies - both overlooking nice and quiet inner yard, one - exceptionally roomy. Hotel immediately addressed our request on the spot to separate two beds, provided additional blankets. Clean, amenities provided. Some good international and Georgian cuisine restaurants available 6 mins walk from the place.
Hotel personnel very communicative, provides advices, booked us some services in town.
Riverside Hotel is located within the heart of Tbilisi with an easy access to the prime locations of the city.
Ms. Iana, the FO Manager and her FO team and all the staff were exceptionally amazing in delivering excellent quality customer service, detail-oriented team that made our stay a memorable and smooth experience.
Thank you Riverside Hotel for showcasing to us your Georgian hospitality with a heart. It was Indeed a worth it vacation!! Madloba!
We’ll stay again for sure!❤️
Making a booking I couldn't even expect that I'll recieve such a warm welcome and comfortable stay. A quiet place apart from city rhythm and noise but still close enough to the metro and bus stations with convenient connections within Tbilisi and other destinations in Georgia. Nice yard where you can spend hours just talking and relaxing. Thanks a million to Beso and Maya for their hospitality: I really felt like home and would be glad to return one day!
Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to most places. The prices in the roof-top restuarant are very competetive, and Tornike (waiter) should be running the place, cannot do enough for you, very knowledgable about Tblisi and Georgia, he really made our trip, take not Brim Hotel, you have a fantastic member of staff here!!
All in all, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay and will defintely be back in September for the wine festival. Loved it!
Location was amazing walking distance 4 min from Bridge of peace/ boat tours/Freedom Square and Old town. Staff Bshir and Adam were very friendly always willing to offer assistance. Lift available huge plus for Georgia hotels and toilet amenities without asking for it. Toilet handheld bidet available/ bidet sprayer, very useful. Very clean and huge beautifully decorated rooms. Very comfortable hotel my favorite so far this is my third time in Tbilisi.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The hotel is tastefully decorated and has artistic touch. The bed was comfy and the shower was good quality. The breakfast room is very special and has decadent ambiance. We loved their georgian breakfast which tasted so homey and delicious. The reception was kind and efficient. They helped us a lot with booking restaurants and taxis. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.
Great location in Tbilisi Old Town, literally same street as the Sulfur baths (worth visiting!). Plenty of wonderful Georgian eateries nearby. Clean apartment with basic kitchen (small fridge, kettle, sink, gas cooktop), washing machine, comfortable bedrooms and our apartment had a lovely shaded terrace. Host was very welcoming and responsive, even meeting us very early in the morning to let us in after a red eye flight.
Beautiful modern decor with a twist of original features restored. Great spacious room for a family of 4. Lovely balcony overlooking the quiet road. Breakfast was simple, continental with some Georgian delicacies. Easy controlled AC in the room. Essential toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers were an extra added touch. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating. The location is a short walk from the centre of the old town.
I’ve stayed there twice during my trip to Georgia. It is perfectly located - less then 10 min to Rustaveli, 15 min to old center. The place itself is clean, looks like the photos. Ithought it would be small, but there was enough space for me and my yoga mat. People who run this hotel are amazing. Nato has helped me a lot during my short stay. Staying there felt like home away from home.
This was a wonderful hotel to stay in, the best we experienced in Georgia by far. The hotel and rooms were very clean, centrally located, the staff are so helpful and friendly, great breakfast, and there’s a terrace on the top floor for a beautiful view of Tiblisi. Value for money is amazing as well. I can highly recommend this hotel and I wished we stayed here longer!
If I would rate it, it’s 100/10 for me. Hotel was clean and the staffs were very accommodating. I just love the vintage vibe, the interiors, their buffet breakfast and especially how accessible it is from the city center. I’d definitely be staying here again when I get back to Tbilisi (soon 😘). Highly recommend to stay here. You’ll fall in love with Georgia too
We loved the hotel very much. Irakli was a great host. We felt very much taken care of during our first days in Georgia. Everything worked out perfect. Communication quick, offered car rental was super. Very reliable und responsive. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast delicious. You can walk to Old town and into Vera. Highly recommended!
In my experience, this is one of the best five star hotels in Georgia. Great room, sumptuous breakfast and nice pool with saunas. For this price a great option if you value comfort.
Thank you to the wonderful courteous staff, especially Salome. Service is up to par. Glasses and a champagne container were provided upon request.
Central location in old Town city centre very close to Freedom Square. Very clean and comfortable home. Friendly elderly lady who is an exceptional host. Nika communicates promptly via Booking. This is a home stay experience with a traditional Georgian couple. Local experience with a beautiful family. Highly recommend!
The Hotel is very clean and spacious..The front desk staff is very helpful and accomodating.. Can speak english very well..Location is very good.. very near the city center.. I highly recommend this hotel.. if its your first time in georgia.. this is one hotel to stay in.. We will come back..
The wonderful receptionist, I do not know her name, but she was very kind and lovely, and she wore glasses to describe her exactly ☺️ This and the hotel are awesome, close to the city center, and all services are available. If I come to Georgia again, I will definitely return to it
Just an exceptional hotel in the center of Tbilisi.
It's represents signature Georgian tradition and modern hotels trends. Nice bar and cool place to drink some morning coffee. Polite and friendly personnel. Definitely recommended.
THe people working at the hotel were absolutely wolnderful and typically 'Georgian' - friendly, generous, hospitable, helpful. Great beds/pillows. Very quiet - which is rare for downtown. We can't wait to return.
