We originally booked the bungalow with just a fan, but as it was soooo hot, they let us upgrade to the bungalow with the aircon unit. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was also lovely. It was beautiful waking up to watch the sunrise. Easy to walk to a restaurant /mini mart, otherwise you need a scooter / taxi.

Incredible location, loads of wildlife to enjoy (we could see sea eagles, hornbills, macaques, so many beautiful fish even without leaving the resort), Buffy (Buffalo) the hotel 4 kitten also a major highlight of the stay.
Good breakfast buffet. Food at dinner was nice, though not spectacular, with plenty of veggie options.
Rooms were beautiful and well air conditioned. Regular (non-chemical) mosquito fogging was a good touch.
Spa facilities were lovely and staff there were exceptional. We stayed at the end of May when the resort was quieter, but all facilities stayed open. Good variety of trips on offer.

We were stay for the night but wish we had booked for much longer, we will definitely be back to explore more of the island as it was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at Santhiya and had such a wonderful time the trip was outstanding, I'd definitely recommend this little slice of paradise.

The food was excellent value for money, both breakfast and dinner. The host was so lovely, really helpful and kind. She organised a long tail boat trip for us to Hong Island and also took us and collected us from the pier. We had a fabulous day thanks to her. She also organised for us to have a massage in our room. She always went above and beyond to help.

A great island, just like other Thai islands used to be before they became too busy with large hotels. Quiet beaches and friendly locals.
The relatively long speed boat journey from Phuket will prevent large groups from visiting: a real positive! Worth taking a trip around the island to discover how the local economy still works.

Lovely place to stay in the middle of the island.
Lovely place to stay in the middle of the island. It has just reopened, so I was the first guest and treated very well!
So great to hear the sound of Nature at night, looking at the stars. If you're lucky, you'll see fireflies.
The place is simple, you get everything you need, the beds are big, confortable, a good night sleep! The hostess is very nice and will help you with everything you need.
Many cats around as the hostess look after them with so much love. Glad to support a business where part of the money goes for animal care.
Thank you! I loved my stay.

We loved our villa. We had a private pool.
We loved our villa. We had a private pool. The resort had 2 more pools, one was infinity and the other one on the beach level. But we didn’t feel the need to go there because of the private pool that we had with the villa.
We had dinner in Chantara restaurant every single night that we stayed the fool was delicious. We eat halal and they provided halal food.
Overall the experience was so good that we are planning a longer trip next year with the whole family.

Exceptional. Amazing. An experience we will never forget.
Exceptional. Amazing. An experience we will never forget. The hotel is so underrated and the pics on the different websites don't give any credit to this place. It's a paradise. All guests we met were had the same review. Rooms are amazing and comfortable. The resort is like a nature reserve. The infinity pool great with spectacular views, you never want to leave. The beach has hammocks. Breakfast and restaurant were lovely. The attention to details was certainly clear. You can also get luck with game viewing (we saw a Water monitor!) - Paradise! Recommended to everyone and anyone.
The place is so tranquile and beautiful. There's the beach front with large trees spending shade, and the little mangrove lagoon on the other side with a large monitor lizard and some cows chilling at. Mina is the most welcoming host and did everything to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast is yummy (fruits, eggs, bread, good coffee!!) and the scooters we rented worked perfectly. We stayed in the simple bungalow which was very cute and clean. They also sell beer at the hotel and kayaks are for free. We absolutely loved our stay!
As others have said the hotel plot is long and thin, which only allows 1 bungalow to face the sea. The grounds are kept immaculate as was our room, however ask for towel / bedding changes if needed.
There are local restaurants the best we found was “Chill Chill” a 15 minute walk – out to the end of the road turn left, down the hill and up the other side, its on the left.
As other reviews have said you need a scooter, the hotel rent us a nice one for 5 days @ 250 baht per day.
The room is beautiful, the whole village is cute and in the nature. Pool is great, pool bar also. Breakfast is nice, a lot of choice, good coffee.
The island is calm, not turisty and offers a great opportunity to relax after all the travels in Thailand.
We rented a scooter one day and went around the island, it was great. Different vibe than other, more touristic places we visited.
There are a few restaurants, small market and massage place in walking distance from the resort.
Our stay was just perfect and we let us guide by the owner who knows the best about his island! ☺️
He organized and supported us with everything we wanted to do during our first island hopping in Thailand.
The location is perfect, close to the nicest beach Ham Laed and to all other spots you can get easily with the scooter.
The apartments are really clean and modern, you don't miss anything and the design is very comfortable.
We could just enjoy our stay!
Amazing!!! The family who run the resort go above and beyond for you, they even transported our luggage to the pier after checking out and organised everything. It felt like a homestay and they treat you like family. We stayed in a bungalow and it was perfect, no complaints at all! Best stay in Thailand
The resort is beautiful and so peaceful with the best view over the sea and neighboring islands.
The bungalows are made so beautifully, really gives cabin/jungle vibes. Our expectations were exceeded by far, as the photos do not do justice to what the real experience of the stay is/will be 🫶
so had a clean bungalow with great working air conditioning. The pool is right on the beach and has a restaurant with a big menu for easy convenience. The staf are super friendly and always check on you. Overall one of my favorite stays in Thailand by far. Would recommend to everybody!
This resort was one of the best one where I have ever stayed. Maybe the best one. We extended our stay here for 3 more days, because we didnt want to leave. Stuff Is very helpful, always smily, nothing is problem.
Resort is right on the beach, just few steps from apartment.
I can't just focus on one thing that I liked, everything has been excellent and it is a magical place, I have never felt so good in a hotel. Congratulations to the entire team, it is the best experience and they have the best details and attention.
Our stay was perfect from start to end. Not only the views from the room (from the bed!!!) are breathtaking, the owners couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. The island itself is a gem to be explored and can not recommend this hotel more 😊
The sweetest owner ever. We rented scooters from her to explore the island, ordered ferry and taxi with her, she got us a bottle of water everyday, she made us breakfast and she got us the best recommendations of Ko Yao Yai.
The hotel is located directly at the beach with a stunning view of the ocean. The stuff was always helpful and taking good care of us and the property. We had an amazing time in this family friendly resort.
Air conditioning was cooling as it should. We've loved the breakfast. Lots of things to do around like kayaking, scooter rent. The island has beautiful beaches around and always smiling locals.
Breakfasts were amazing. Variety, taste and service. Room was nice, clean as well as the bathroom. Beach in front of the hotel is beautiful as well as the hotel garden and pool.
Location, facilities, beach massage, jetty seating , reasonable price of food, constant shuttles to take you around the hotel, free beach sports equipment,
