This place is beautiful, quiet, friendly and just a delight to stay. We extended our stay twice. Stunning place to retreat away from the busier parts of the island. Most staff live in the local village, so you're connected to the community. Walking distance to the waterfalls. It's all like something from a movie. Also check out Hansens up the hill if you want something more intimate.

The only thing I like it was the area that not to far from my parents house. But the location itself not easy to find especially no sign of the place. The Google map took me to different little gang.

Align waterfalls a must. 5 10 and 16m jump. Cost 125k rp. Becuase you need guide if going to jump for safety reasons. Money goes to local community. Sends kids to school and maintenance.
Lovina is quiet, but dolphin watching was great.

Interesting, little town on the north side of Bali, but I was more interested in the ride to get there from Denpasar. Great views and very fun riding conditions, no matter which route you take, so take a different route each way. We did Bedugul on the way out and Jatiluwih on the way back.

As Singaraja is a largely Muslim community you need to understand a slight difference from Southern Bali.
The City has just started improving some of the tourist trail, a new precinct near the water is being updated with paving and is where you will find the small but interesting Soenda Ketjil Museum as well as a Chinese Shrine. Out near Jalan Veteran you can find Museum Buleling and a library called Gedung Kirtya that houses some unique Lontar engraved Manuscripts. It's worth sourcing an English speaking guide with car as the locals are mostly unsure as to the location of these places.

A tip for really good food is the s.o.a.n cafe and venue direct at the beach. The Food is awsome and the staff is so so nice.
Absolutely stunning view to the gorge and jungle, the waterfall in walking distance and the hotel area is amazing, beautifully landscaped. Also the villas are exceptional. All the wood carvings at ceiling of the spa, the doors etc just lovely. Felt like in paradise. The village& mountains are also nice dir for a walk. You can see rice Terraces.
Staff super nice and helpful. They also organized a fresh durian that was delivered to the hotel for me- amazing 😍🙏🏽.
I had an excelent time in Pondok Apsari, the view was everything you could've imagine when you want to have a peaceful holiday. It is such a bliss swimming in the pool while watching the sun sets behind the paddy fields. You can even see the sea when there sky is clear. The staff's very helpfull and friendly. The cabin is very clean and comfy and the location is not far if you want to experience Singaraja. It's everything you could hope for in a place to stay.
The best view to jungle, mountain, ocean!!! Good road to hotel. Very big own terrace on second floor with table, chairs, sofa, water cooler. Cheap food in hostels Cafe. Clean room and bed. 500m, easy walking to waterfall. Owner give me id-card for entering to waterfall - so my enter cost 70.000, not 300-400.000 near the ticket office. It's great deal!!! After check out owner gift me herbal tea! Highly recommended!!!!
We came to Manigelang Villa after visiting Pura Malen.
This Hotel is a perfect place for stay in spiritual peace and comfort 🙏🏻. The family-owner of the place is very kind and good people. William and I played chess, and it was very interesting. Dinner and breakfast are very delicious, the territory provides picturesque view when sun shines and when it is cloudy. We wish to come here for a week in the future.
We were in the middle of the rice fields, far from all the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature in a small village in the Singaraja region. Only 15 minutes away are the wonderful Sekunpul waterfalls. The staff and the food are authentic and extremely friendly and accommodating, many thanks here again to all.
- the location is good, only 3 minute walk to Happy Beach
- the location only 5 minutes by bike to meeting point to boat for dolphin watching
- the staffs were friendly and accommodate ne to rent bike
- I hope the tourism in Singaraja will recover soon, so many guests can socialize and use the common kitchen
What a beautiful place this is! The rooms and especially the garden are so well kept and have so many beautiful details. We only spent 1 night here, if we could have, we would have stayed longer.
The area around the hotel is also very beautiful and very quiet. You won't find this in Bali elsewhere!
- One of the best stays in my lifetime travels
- A wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting

Food was delicious. I had everything there: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Best place to stay before Sekumpul waterfall journey, because it’s located 5 minutes away from the main entrance
the hotel is located in a very quiet street. 100m from the sea.
I could do some really nice snrorkling and harpon fishing with a guy from the hotel.
Cosy place to relax during the day.
